I'm struggling to choose between thisand the HS21, which do you think is better?

What's the point to have 2 x 18650? Seems like same running performance with the Acebeam M2 which it has only 1 x 18650. Do you think SK-05 better in terms of runtime performance?

Is the titanium on Amazon actually now 1k lumens? It's now saying it is but not sure if it's a mistake and suppose to say 500 lumens

Little did I know five months ago that I would have the exact TD collection as Melbourne's King Torchmeister! 😎🔦 I did get slightly confused with the description and the subtitles though. You had the TD01c all along and not the linear FET equipped, TD01. The latter sports a shiny black anodization treatment while the former gets a matte black finish. I got the TD01c as my birthday present and it's the biggest torch that I have at the moment. Neither my IF22A nor TS11 out distanced the TD01c! I guess I am done with my thirty flashlight collection, at least for this year! 😁

I think it was a recreational park, which I initially had mistaken for a golf course. 🙂 For me those episodes are memorable as it was where you had tested the green Convoy M1, M2, M21B, S8 and your Wurkkos TD01c, TD02, TD03 and TD04. 🔦🔦🔦🔦

I think an EDC light should be type-C rechargeable, but I don't consider headlamps as EDC lights. I consider a headlamp something you are using as you work around the house/campsite/boat... near your main gear(and charging cords), unlike an EDC light which is something that is with you at all times, ready for any emergency and able to charge with any type-C cord you can find. Also, I think a magnetic charger is superior in most non-EDC situations. Type C ports can get worn out or full of trash or broken. Magnetic ports are always waterproof, don't break or get full of trash. Magnetic ports are better for something you're going to be using a lot around the house/campsite/boat because they're so easy to connect to the charger. As with all things in the universe, there are trade-offs.

I've been to school since 1971 and have had Bensia, Pilot, Staedtler, Paper Mate and BIC mechanical pencils. For a stationery brand that prides itself for making writing instruments since 1883, the Kaweco brand is new to me - let alone a mechanical pencil carved out of brass! 😐 Hey, I remember my dad used to own a ballpoint pen which actually had a tiny light. I only saw it light up once or twice, back in the day while he was writing. I never got the pen to turn on the light - can't recall whether the battery was inserted, the light was defective or I didn't know how to turn it on. As you can guess, it wasn't the pen that fascinated me - 'twas the torch! 🖊💡 And no, it wasn't an LED inside it but a tungsten filament bulb. Don't ask me what its CRI or lumen count was! 😎

HHey D.. long time no comment. I really like nextorch a little disappointed for obvious reasons. But i do love the osram leds. Excellent light. Unfortunately i perfer other options. But i dont own one. Great review. Looking forward to some new exciting lights. Hard to beat p16. Or the all ruling T1....lol just saying.

Now that I've already gotten my TD01c and am thinking of the Convoy L21B with the Luminus SFT40, someone just had to dazzle me with the CLSLPM1.F1 green emitter! 🔦😭 💸💰💸 Thanks for comparing against the Nextorch LEP. I can see how an LEP would be useful as a pointing tool at night (so does any green laser), but the LEP's role is too specialized. The L21B with the SFT40 would be a more useful outdoor torch, in my opinion. Say Darren, you don't happen to have an L21B with a non-green LED, do you? 🤔

@Darren Yeo I've got this Sofirn HS21 Headlamp coming along with the Wurkkos HD50 Headlamp & Wurkkos HD16 headlamp, I was very impressed with this HS21 and the Wurkkos HD16, Are you getting the Wurkkos HD16 Darren ??

The winding doesn't stop because it's an AUTOMATIC watch. It has a clutch that disengages the crown from the main spring after it's fully wound. If it didn't have the clutch you would break the main spring just by the movement of your wrist, because you are constantly winding it as you're wearing it. The clutch is connected both to the winding rotor and the crown.

Good video. Several times, you said the X1 had "passive cooling." That's incorrect. Passive cooling is a heatsink with no fan. Active cooling is a heat sink with a fan. The X1 has active cooling, not passive cooling. Thanks!

Nice review. I’ve really enjoyed mine even more than my C2 Pro Nichia. The flood is just as nice and artifact free. The headband is more comfortable and the light is just easier to use. The HS21 is quickly becoming my go to light for everything. Close up work with a smooth high CRI flood is an absolute delight.

I ended up getting the 2nd version of this with the button to switch modes and have really loved it. Really good size to have a powerful flood and spot.

I want one !!

Excellent review. What I don't find anyone pointing out though, is why on earth did Sofirn shift about the positions of the rotating ring? I own both of them, and it completely messes up the muscle memory! On the IF24 Pro turn it counter-clockwise from Lock to Main light. But on the IF23 Pro, you instead need to turn it clockwise from Lock to Main light - why oh why Sofirn, it's like you had two different separate teams working on these lights and not talking to each other? Lol... anyways, I wish they had stuck with the 5000K tint for the IF23 Pro as in the IF24 Pro, but that's a matter of personal preference of course. Seriously considering de-doming mine for a different tint and a tad more throw, or possibly swapping for a XHP 70.3 HI emitter with a warm tint. Otherwise it's a great light!

Didn't realize how useful right angle lights are in this size: can still use as headlamp by clipping to side of bill. Also go hands free by attaching to pants, jacket, shirt, backpack straps, molle straps

Light is great! I had one for a while. If the pocket clip was adjustable, it would be a lot better. Being able to mount on a hat or just blue jeans would be awesome!

I have received it and used it last night. I love it! Very noticeable improvements compared to my Wurkkos HD15 which I have been using for a while. Main improvements. Flood is smooth and 5000k comfort. Spot throws very well for a headlamp with the sft40 with 6500k.
