Mavuika's pyro application is in line with Mualani's kit. Mualani marks, generates stacks, sends n u k es. Hoyo designed Mavuika in such a way she will synergize with Mualani but not so much with everyone else. Perhaps Ayato can also make use off Mavuika because his off-field hydro application is broken tbh.

Really interesting how much speculation a lot of CCs do regarding future units..... meanwhile I just open up the leaks subreddit and I already know the entire kit of mavuika, citlali (and another unit who I won't mention as spoilers)
I think we need a Pyro unit that specifically scales off or buffs Elemental Mastery (EM) and focuses on spamming Pyro application. (By spam I mean actually as fast as Xiangling but for almost no direct talent damage.) It would fit better than the workarounds we are using for burgeon, and possibly allow for teams to use the overloaded reaction for more than 20% of team damage. To avoid Shinobu with a red costume or Thoma except scaling from EM instead of HP, have part of the kit scale from number of other elemental applications to be original. That should make this unit’s team mate ideally Xingqiu, Fischl, or other fast applicators. Another way to differentiate would be to give them really slow skill animations like Yae Miko, so that you play them more like secondary DPS than skill+burst+swap off.
As a Wriothesley and Kinich main, I have high hopes for Mavuika! Also, kind of unrelated but, I feel like at this point they should just remove the restriction for Cryo resonance. 15% crit rate isn't all that crazy, and double Cryo isn't really popular core like double Hydro or double Pyro anyways. The Cryo supports just aren't nearly as good as the Hydro or Pyro ones. They changed Hydro resonance back in 3.0, so I would think changing Cryo resonance isn't out of their scope either.
Here's my 2 ideas: Cryo dmg based on healing. I feel like cryo got a lot of dark lichking vibes character. Rosaria, qiqi zombie, now citlali spiritual stuff and hell the tsaritsa. We can go with "sucking life" and becoming colder so deal dmg based of how much life u want to heal for. Do this and everyone's c6 qiqi is unlocked😂 Iansan being from the literal tribe of bodybuilders, can be electro, physical dmg booster. In terms of lore, can either have her onfield punching or buff physical thru good sports coaching and doping(electrotherapy)😅
Cool ideas. Although I could also seem them going damage perspective and making a good cyro xianling to make use of all our Pyro on fielders or enable Pyro melt on them depending on their application speed and make a comical xianling enable a second xianling core.
if we are restricting ourselves with not stepping on shenhe's toes we are really screwed. If any character desprately needs power crept its shenhe. If anything just steal a move from the honkai team and release a new shenhe saying some BS about she took off the string sealing her power. Put it as a new character that fixes all her problems. Put the c6 as part of her base kit give her some god damn energy so shes not a black hole. Or just let the quills last for a duration instead of having an amount.
If she's not stronger than Xiangling i really don't care for her :"( Why would I pull whole aah archon to be weaker than a 4*. I just wanted Xiangling that has her burst on E and can do no damage, but I just wanted an oppresive pyro application. Mualani by herself applies hydro slowly but some of her nicest teams are double hydro and that's where no-XL teams just stop working well.
Mark my words, Mavuika won't powercreep Arlecchino, especially at C0. Mavuika will replace Xiangling because she synergizes with Natlan DPS. And Arle is still top-tier pyro DPS and will remain so for a long time.
