All you need to say about Mike Gendron which defeats his entire argument is this: he said that in 35 years as a Catholic he never read the Bible. Then he says that when he was a Catholic he would go to Mass every day during Lent. Both of those claims cannot be true! That right there says there's a problem here!

I was raised in a Sephardic Jewish home, my grandfather the Chief Rabbi of our synagogue. When I went to College to do my undergrad work, I was first confronted with Jesus was the Messiah we had been waiting for. As it was a Protestant College the various denominations that my classmates belonged to all contradicted each other on various doctrines, the only thing that united them was the same misrepresentations of the Catholic Church that Mike presents. I read the NT in Greek, because as a Sephardim, we were originally from Spain and in 1492 when Jews were expelled from Spain ended up in Greece. It was easy to see that the Protestant idea of Salvation was not what the Greek NT taught. So I went to a local Catholic College library and started reading Catholic Dogma from Catholic sources, a different kettle of fish than what I was being fed at the Protestant College.
When the Eucharist came up, it was plain for me as a Jew to see what Jesus did and does. He instituted the Eucharist at the Passover Seder. Jews even at the time of Jesus and before, even today are taught as part of the Seder ritual that anyone who participates in the key elements of the Seder cannot say, "I am remembering what God did for my forefathers, bringing them out of Egypt" he must now say, "I am remembering what God has done for me, brining me out of Egypt." we are taught that God makes present the Exodus and we truly participate in it by His action of transcending time and place. This is called Anamneses, which is the Greek word translated Remembrance, but it means to a Jew today and in the Time of Jesus not a recalling of a past event, but the making present a past event now. So it was easy to see that Jesus who in the Greek NT takes bread and wine and tells us "When you do this MAKE ANMENSIS of ME." Jesus makes the Last Supper and the Cross present. He as the Catholic Church teaches (and the narrator stated) is the Primary actor in the action of the Sacraments. The priest is there because he participates in Christ's Sacerdotal priesthood, because Jesus told the Apostles when you do this... So he required that someone commissioned to do so (By the laying on of hands) "Do this." Jesus could have done it another way, but the Bible is clear, both in the prefigured types in the Passover and other points in Jewish history and in the NT text that He was instituting a priesthood to do what He Himself commanded.

@@thomasfolio7931 Thank you for sharing this amazing perspective and historical context. Were you ever able to determine the origin of the anti-Catholic rhetoric that is in lockstep across all conflicting Protestant sects? To have that level of uniform propaganda yet disagree on their own theology suggests a diabolic lie of great influence over these souls. It leads me to the hypothesis that these anti-Catholic lies are from Anti-Christ influence. One such group are the Freemasons, which tend to be a mechanism of dissemination of these false beliefs. Here’s some other lies I’ve found.
    MG = Mike Gendron
    R = Reponse
First off, Gendron, depending on which video you are listening to, will either say that he didn’t read the Bible for 35 or 37 years. Which one is it Mike?
MG: My uncle, who was a Catholic priest, told me not to read the Bible because it was too hard to understand.
R: Mike tells three different versions of this story, depending on which video you are watching. In one video, he states that a priest, that he does not name, told him not to read the Bible because it was too difficult to understand. In the second version of this story, Mike claims that every priest he encountered told him not to bother reading the Bible because it was too difficult to understand. In another version, the priest that told him not to bother reading the Bible, was his uncle. Which story is it Mike?
    A. Mike stated that he attended Catholic school. This would have consisted of grade school and high school. Mike would have attended Catholic school somewhere in the mid 50’s to the late 60’s.
    B. Mike would not have had the Catechism of the Catholic Church, because the CCC, didn’t exist until 1992, However, In the 50’s through the late 60’s, all Catholic Schools, at least in America, gave out copies of the Baltimore Catechism to their students, and made them study it. I know this for a fact, because my father went to Catholic School during this timeframe, and he confirmed this. I also confirmed this with an online search.
    Baltimore Catechism, 1941 revised edition.
    Paragraph 23G
23G. Are Catholics encouraged by the Church to read the Bible?
Yes; Catholics are encouraged by the Church to read the Bible, especially the Gospels, which tell about the earthly life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God made man.
Excerpts from the Pastoral letter of the third Plenary Council of Baltimore. (1884).
But it can hardly be necessary for us to remind you, beloved brethren, that the most highly valued treasure of every family library, and the most frequently and lovingly made use of, should be the Holy Scriptures.
And you have before your eyes, prefixed to the Douay version of the Holy Bible, the exhortation of Pope Pius the Sixth in his letter to the Archbishop of Florence, that "the faithful should be moved to the reading of the Holy Scriptures; for these," he says, "are most abundant sources which ought to be left open to every one to draw from them purity of morals and of doctrine, to eradicate the errors which are so widely disseminated in these corrupt times.
So, are you really going to believe Mikes story that his uncle, who was a priest, or an unnamed priest, or every priest he encountered, depending on which version of this story he is telling, told him not to read the Bible because it was too hard for him to understand, and Mike just believed him, or them, and didn’t know that Catholics were allowed to read the Bible, even after owning a copy of the Baltimore Catechism, which clearly states that Catholics are encouraged to read the Bible, and is the exact same Catechism that Mike was required to study in school? Are we really supposed to believe this story? Plus, Mike has told three different versions of this story. Mike is clearly being deceptive here. I’m going to say he’s lying about this story.
MG: Open any Catechism of the Catholic Church, and you will see the traditional 10 commandments on one side to the page, and then the Roman Catholic commandments on the other page, and you will see a blank space where the 2nd commandment is supposed to be, and they created 2 commandments for the last commandment.
R: This is another lie. What Mike is talking about does not exist in any Catechism that I own or that my father owns. Mike is simply making this up. The numbering of the commandments is a matter of Exodus vs Deuteronomy. The Protestant numbering separates the first commandment into two commandments, and makes the last two commandments 1 commandment. It’s the opposite for the Catholic numbering. It’s important to note that neither numbering is wrong.
In the third century, an early Christian scholar and theologian named Origen, created a numbering system that many Protestant and Orthodox churches use today.
St. Augustine used a numbering system in the fifth century that Catholics and Lutherans tend to use. This is how the catechism puts it (2066):
The division and numbering of the Commandments have varied in the course of history. The present catechism follows the division of the Commandments established by St. Augustine, which has become traditional in the Catholic Church. It is also that of the Lutheran confessions. The Greek Fathers worked out a slightly different division, which is found in the Orthodox Churches and Reformed communities.

Unfortunately I can see his story about the woman and the priest as being true, or at least partially. This is why I have made it an important part of my of my faith walk to properly teach Catholics about their faith. I have even stepped into the lion’s den by attending a Bible study at an evangelical church to be a representative of Catholicism to those outside the true church. This study includes several ex Catholics. They were at first and to some degree are still perplexed by me. I can see the confused looks on their faces as they encounter a Catholic who knows the Bible. To them that is simply not possible. They have learned to accept me since they by the use of scripture cannot shake my faith or my trust in the Church.

One of the stories Mike has invented recently is that when he was a teen, he was a "good friend" of Padre Pio. He claims he went to visit him with his uncle a priest and they would "Co-celebrate" sic. the Mass.
It's well known that because of his age, Padre Pio was given an indult to continue to offer what we now call the EF. The rubrics of the EF did not allow for "Con-Celebration" Mike has admitted to me that he and his uncle did not speak Italian, even now as he prepares to start a mission to Catholics in Italy, he needs a translator. While it is true that Con-celebration was permitted in the Latin Rite from 1964 until it was made universal in 1970 with the Missal of Pope St. Paul VI, during the years of 1964 to his death in 1968 it was only permitted for large gatherings such as General Meetings of Religious Orders with the Superior General or a Cardinal as the Main Celebrant. Not what Mike describes. '
It is hard to imagine that a priest who was non-Capuchin missionary to the South Pacific, and his nephew would have time to become what Mike says he was, "A Good Friend" of Padre Pio for another reason. Padre Pio would take two to three hours to offer a low Mass, then would spend up to eight or more hours hearing confessions. He also had to eat, sleep, and participate in community activities like joining his fellow Capuchins in praying the Office. He had to work with the people who assisted him with his correspondence, not just because of the volume of mail, but also because the letters came from around the world and he needed not just typists but bi-lingual assistants, leaving very little time to become a good friend of a priest and teen who did not speak Italian to become chums.

The 48:40 part is classic scrupulous projection. It's what Luther succumbed to. I get how carrying the daily cross hurts and how nice it will be to done with it, but that doesn't mean you just get to declare the carrying of that cross over. You have to do battle with satan all day every day. You have to put on the armor of God and pray constantly. But if that seems scary, yeah, I guess it would be nice to just be able to declare the battle over and won.
When I hear protestants talk like this it seems like they're curled into the fetal position on a battlefield. "I'm home, nothing can hurt me, everything is fine." and I imagine in the spiritual realm how that's being received by the angles, on both sides. It is dangerous to commiserate or wax ecumenical on these matters, don't encourage their corrupted reading.

Hint 2: the New Testament Bible would not be completed until the year 99 or thereabouts. Work out a timeline to see how things played out. Man I gotta say this that Mike is not learned at all of the scriptures in slightest, but let’s move away from what I’ve just said because there’s one thing I’ve noticed about Protestants is that they are not ordained as the apostolic successors at all and this is in the scriptures?🤔

John 11:51 every translation of this verse says the High Priest did not speak of himself. So let’s think about this logically. If the High Priest was able to speak infallibly, and if Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law, then wouldn’t it make sense that the new High Priest (the Pope) would also be able to speak infallibility? This was what helped me to understand papal infallibility. But if one has the error of sola scriptura then this won’t make sense.

He’s a liar, and I’m don’t have the authority to say who is or who is not going to hell, but let’s just say that his lying against Christs Church could put his soul in jeopardy.
    1. There isn’t any priest that’s going to say that they don’t have the authority to interpret scripture, that only their bishop does. That’s false.
    2. Gendron lies about the catechism, even though he went to school at the same time as my dad, and my dad confirms that what he is saying f isn’t true.
    3. All of his stories are either embellished or outright lies.

Peter was completely surrendered to the HOLY SPIRIT like Mary soon after JESUS' Resurrection. Read Clement of Alexandria and Eusebius. They explain that another man simply had the name Kepha, never translated into Peter, and that this is why Paul speaks of both Peter (whom he usually called Kepha) and this Kepha as two people, to contrast them with different names. Luke makes it impossible for Peter to have been in Antioch yet at tha occasion mentioned to the Galatians.

Are suggesting that the Peter (Kepha) in Galatians 2 is not St. Peter the Apostle?

@@The_Catholic_Christian I'm suggesting that two different men are mentioned here, and only to make this distinction, the name Peter is used for the one that gave him the right hand of fellowship. Normally Paul calls Peter Kephas, but this time, because he confronted a man who happened to have that name already, he here settles on Greek Petros for Simon.

    Catholic arguments = muslim arguments.
    "No theyre a liar!"
Alexander Hislop sources official Catholic sources directly.
Catholic argument. "No hes a liar and he doesn't site any sources"
Which proves the Catholic never read it.

Funny how those that left their opportunity for salvation because they never took it, and joined the catholic religion, persue damnation against those that left the catholic cult to find true salvation? So, To find true salvation, you need the Spirit of God, not man's religion, like the apostate catholic church that continually rejects the Spirit of God!
