One of my favorite channels talking about my favorite game series, love the video dude! Tho I actually really liked Zero tbh, and no not just because I wanted it to do well or just wanted another starfox game, but I actually had a lot of fun playing Zero (it's probably my favorite game in the series). But still a fun vid to listen to👍
I loved Star Fox Zero, the problem is people thought you were supposed to aim with the pad and drive with the tv. In reality your supposed to aim and drive on the tv 80% of the time, and occasionally use the gamepad for more precise aiming, or to aim at something you arent facing. Essentially you just play the game as you would a normal star fox, and use the pad to hit things that wouldnt be possible to hit in a normal star fox because they arent directly in front of you. I figured it out the second stage and had a blast after that point, and actually liked the control scheme more for the freedom it gave me. Im not gonna say "git good" or anything, because the way to properly use the scheme wasn't explained as well as it should have been in game
I'd been waiting a long time for this one. I've been a video game addict for the better part of 30 years and Star Fox has always been one of my favourite series. Love all of the games up to Assault. Adventures is actually probably my favourite. Krystal folder currently at 8442 files and counting. I've been working on that fucker for over a decade now.
I love StarFox. Played 64 when I was a tiny child, my dad had played the NES version so he knew this one was good so everytime Peppy said "Your Father Helped me like that too!" it made me all giddy because I was a dumb child. I ABSOLUTETLY FUCKING LOVE ADVENTURES AND ILL FIGHT ANYONE FOR IT, I know it was so far removed fro manything actually StarFox but I actually fucking love adventure games or "Zelda Clones" and it has fucking dinosaurs in it and a dragon boss and a triceratops sidekick and it looks amazing and Krystal is gorgeous and just NGHNGNHNGH I've played that game a million times and still love it. Assault was also pretty great, I forgot about Fox's shuffle but man yeah his spindly legs just went off like mad. Loved Prince Tricky growing up it made me all nostalgic and shit and that bit where Peppy straight up rams the Great Fox into that shield was amazing. I need to play it again I actually really liked it. Command I couldn't fucking play because the gameplay was atrocious, no fun at all, screw that and Zero was also garbage. One can only hope they bring StarFox back from the brink like they did Fire Emblem, there is...SOME hope. Thanks for the StarFox nostalgia trip, it's one of my favorite video game series and it was nice to reminisce about it
Holy shit the Starfox episode is finally here!!! Starfox Adventures is legitimately my favorite game of all time. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the fact that a) It was the first Starfox game I ever played b) Nostalgia factor considering I picked it up when it first came out and I was 8 and c) it has a damn good sound track. I would actually love to see a re-make of, not Starfox Adventures, but Dinosaur Planet as it was originally intended to be. I know that's largely a flight of fancy considering the original Rare is gone, but I can dream. Also A Fox in Space is fucking phenomenal and I'm kind of geeking out over the fact that you know the guy who made it. That's badass.
J.J. Abrams is like the worst aspects of Miyamoto and Hussie combined. He co-opts unrelated shit to shoddily re-purpose into a new iteration of an existing property and is really good at generating hype and intrigue that ultimately goes nowhere because he doesn't actually have a goddamn plan.
Let me tell you about & Knuckles Also controversial opinion, I actually liked star fox zero, I would like it to be remade with proper controls though because it is a decent game and I think the controls were hard to get used to for some
I think they could've been able to make good starfox games nowadays if they made the games about teams of people and the world around them rather than just those specific 4 characters only. Its really hard to write a story better than what the original character writers of a 30 year old game series, but it's really easy to write a new story in that same world using new characters and have it actually feel fresh.
I think a big reason there are people that ONLY like Starfox64 is because it is genuinely the most well known game. If I didn't see it at gamestop, I would have never known Assault existed which I used for multiplayer as well.
Fuuuuuuck my dudes, this was a really good one. I've been excited as shit for this. Starfox 64 was one of the first five games I ever played - along with Pilot Wings 64, Shadows of the Empire, Super Mario 64, and Ocarina of Time (then very latter of which I could only rent for years until finding a copy +Majora's Mask). I had a lucky as fuck childhood when it came to quality games. I actually played through all the routes in 64 like a week ago, that shit holds up better than most games from any generation, and I recommend that game to anyone from any background with any taste ever. The game is a masterpiece. You can't beat me, I gotta betta ship!! Also, speaking of forums as a young lad, I used to frequent Avatarfans.net, which, while it may not have been THE most popular forum for the last airbender, it was inherently no doubt the best. There's no telling how many hours I spent on that fucking forum waiting on my shitty dial up to load a page 10 times, just to see if someone would finally reply. Fuck those were good retarded times. And like you said, that shit is gone now lol who knows what kinda freaky bad dog porn that forum ended up next to on the deep web.
You hit the nail perfectly with the divided fanbase, Miyamoto, and the series overall. I honestly think we will get another title a decade from now and it will be another reboot; you hope not, but it will be. Also the content of the fanbase varies you did have the layeyes comic that was going to happen, but that got canceled; at least Fredrick's animation showed there's still people who are passionate for the series (there's also the Event Horizon dev too.)
Oh man, i played Wizard101 for a bit. A couple of friends and I played together (because obviously shitty MMO's are more fun when you aren't partying up with randos) Anyways, i don't remember too much, but one of the things that stuck out were missions in the first area making blatant references to Fight Club. That was amusing enough to keep me going for a bit to see what other weird references they were going to slide into a children's MMO.
Read the comments section, watched the video. Nothing about Togepi 1125, I can't say it's a bad thing but it would've been much interesting if you mentioned that.
Because the Switch controller has gyroscope like controls in Zelda BOTW so if SF Zero was ported to the Switch, you could play the game with one screen!
i miss assault, it was my favorite in the series, just wish they continued it and improved on it. take the multiplayer and make it some co-op play for the story.
it's the exact same game with improved graphics and voice acting. There are two different control layouts (3ds and n64), both of which are playable. I do tend to have a easier time with a actual N64 controller, but I nabbed all the gold medals. Fuck the Gyro controls though.
Although the same voices are used, these voices pronounce their lines differently to the 64 version. After hearing the lines said in a particular way for a long time, hearing this new way is just too strange to enjoy. Something which should be familiar to players of Star Fox 64, is too unfamiliar to enjoy. It may be petty but it is uncomfortable. That is how people who love Star Fox 64 can dislike the 3DS version.
Been waiting for this one. It's Aleks' Homestuck
Oh god I never thought about that. It would be a smashing finale with Homestuck though
The lore on this channel is more than all of star fox and homestuck together
Dead Sausage My belly buttion lint has deeper lore then Starfox.
1Kenny30 Than
We meet again
It's so weird, an episode with such a normal tile.
I like these episodes, they're so broad that they can't help but be interesting
finally now u have to talk about splatoon hentai
>As a kid you'll put up with a lot more shitty games
Dude as a kid i enjoyed playing SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG.

I swear aleks talked about the signature story twice before now
This is the Aleks lore episode
Ryan Keenan I mean the last two episodes were that
I have the deepest lore
I love StarFox. Played 64 when I was a tiny child, my dad had played the NES version so he knew this one was good so everytime Peppy said "Your Father Helped me like that too!" it made me all giddy because I was a dumb child.

Just as I was looking for something to listen to at work. Perfect timing.

i fall asleep to these podcasts
kaden the ooflord yo same tho. These are so good
Now all we need is the actual Homestuck episode.
Oh it's coming
J.J. Abrams is like the worst aspects of Miyamoto and Hussie combined.

Switchpoint I agree completely👍

Whoa, hearing about fredryk phox was a blast from the past.
Ahh finally the fabled star fox episode.
LMTYA lost episode: Let Me Tell You About Star Fox for 4 Hours
It was 2 hours and it was mostly just me rambling, you ain't missing much
SO IT'S FINALLY HERE
PODCASTING FOR YOU
I think a big reason there are people that ONLY like Starfox64 is because it is genuinely the most well known game. If I didn't see it at gamestop, I would have never known Assault existed which I used for multiplayer as well.
Star Fox seems like a series that takes itself way too seriously
Hiveswap comes out in 3 hours my dude
Leon's voice in Assault sounds like Beavis
TIL Aleks isn't patrician enough to enjoy Command
What's Aleks' opinion on Starfox 64 3D? Is it a good remake?
It's finally here
Starfox adventures is probably my favorite in the series. Then 64, then assault.
Fuuuuuuck my dudes, this was a really good one. I've been excited as shit for this. After all these years, I'm the 100th comment bros!
Read the comments section, watched the video. Nothing about Togepi 1125, I can't say it's a bad thing but it would've been much interesting if you mentioned that.
Always catches me off guard when I hear someone talk about toontown. Have to say I enjoy it whenever I want to play some kind of mmo
Aw shit better take the time to prepare myself for this one.
I have a question about Star Fox Zero. Would the game be improved at all if it was to be released on the Nintendo Switch?
Because the Switch controller has gyroscope like controls in Zelda BOTW so if SF Zero was ported to the Switch, you could play the game with one screen!
Wasn't there a 3DS one?
I am in, uh... full support of, uh... whatever, this is.
Slippy is the best Star Fox character. Fight me.
what did he mean by this?
Slippy is epic
i miss assault, it was my favorite in the series, just wish they continued it and improved on it. take the multiplayer and make it some co-op play for the story.
IT'S TIME
OOHHH YES BABY
You two sound like each other.
What's your Homestuck? Mine is Star Wars.

Finally
Dont you ever shit talk my Wizard 101 ever again. >:^(
Ok do you remember the stage 4 boss and how slippy just eats so much shit to them
Wizard 101 was great please don't let me accept the fact that I spent more than 100 dollars on stuff on there as a kid
Ayy I'm relatively early this time lads
I'm here way too earl
*early
finally
If you love Star Fox 64/ Lylat Wars, you will not be able to play it on 3DS...

"The worst control scheme devised by mankind."
Ahahahaha. Filthy casual confirmed.
Disliked and ignored. Zero is amazing.
Melee is the only good StarFox game.
More like starfux
Knot a fan of this furry game myself.
Nintendo games always have shit voice acting.
A1rG3ar True, except maybe Breath of the Wild, which even then is kind of questionable at times
an hour of contrived nonsense and hyperbole arguments...mkay...
