I love how slow every roller coaster looks on a video. It looks so slow and calming almost but then you get on it and the wind is in your face and your whipping around the corners so fast. Loved Candymonium.
Do not underestimate this ride, it has a very strong force during the first drop and it surprises you again and again before you can process the previous drops.
This ride was so incredible totally blew beyond my expectations. The airtime is so much more forceful than on the old b and m hypers and those hills and the first drop in the back just send you absolutely flying into the seatbelt.
This ride is absolute butter. I’ve never been on a smoother coaster. Not that I’m a coaster connoisseur either, but I loved this. It was not at all what I expected after watching the PoV. What you can’t tell in the video is that the track basically follows the exact trajectory the train would take if it shot off of the rails on the uphills. You are air-born the entire way from the point the track starts rolling away on the uphill to the next valley on every one of these crests. Got two rides into hoping for a few more tomorrow.

I’m a huge RMC fan… but this is something special. Got a couple of front seat rides and it’s amazing you are literally thrown out of your seat when going over those hills. It didn’t beat out Steel Vengeance but out of the ~dozen parks I have been to and the scores of coasters I’ve been on, this is top 10

Rode this rollercoaster with my cousin. First big coaster I went on! The first drop gives you that stomach feel on coasters. It’s a really amazing and smooth coaster! Definitely go on it.

this was my first rollercoaster and the air time felt so long in the air. Definitely an excellent roller coaster for anyone who visits Hershey park. I'd advise ages 12+ to go on it and not to eat right before it.
@@seanshapiro7907 I'm pretty sure it's to avoid noise complaints, kings island is in the middle of a busy town (Mason, Ohio) so you all the noise may bring noise complaints from near by Stores, Restaurants, and houses
King's Island doesn't have the rollback safety mechanism because Ohio doesn't require it. So, if the chain fails you'll get a "station rollback" where the station will break you if there isn't another train there. If there is another train there you'll just have to accept your faith. It's really messed up. And it's also total BS. But you did believe it for a little bit, I bet!

TylerPCoyne well I stayed on site so I was able to get in an hour early and hit candymonium 3 times and then went to comet and skyrush. The. I went to farenheight which had no line. And then I rode lightning racer a bunch which never had a line
Just tried this for the first time. Wasn't sure what to expect after knowing how great Skyrush is but man, did not disappoint. Fast, smooth, great airtime, quick line (after coming back in the afternoon), and Skyrush, as usual, was closed so I'm glad I really liked this one.
Ngl, i was terrified before riding this today, but I just said "send it" and it was actually the best coaster i have been on even (being a timid rider).
this was my first ever big coaster ride, was never brave enough until my dad decided to drag us and there was no wait time at all! Im glad i did it, super smooth, and after the first 2 drops, i jist enjoyed the ride :)
My 2nd favorite coaster so far! Only rode like 47 coasters but I'm going to CP and SFNE this year for the first time. I kept going back to Hersheypark last year just to get Candymonium rides haha
I think Hershey missed a golden opportunity it’s to not have a Wonka-esque chocolate river somewhere. Not real chocolate. But I guess that’s why they don’t cause people would drink it. NVM
I actually got turned away from experiencing this ride like I obviously expected after noticing the test seat, but I thanked the ride operator instead of getting upset. Just mentioning that makes me really glad my mom finally retired so she could take me to a bariatric surgery specialist, and I lost about 25 pounds so far as of now thanks to tolerating the consistency of certain foods and managing to abstain without starving! To really add insult to injury, the trip to Hersheypark was the end result of that change in plans that had to be limited to domestic travel to celebrate my 35th birthday as a result of my sister Erin accidentally losing her passport, meaning my planned trip to Montréal had to be delayed a year later for my 36th, which finally became a reality earlier this year.

For any one who’s sacred I was terrified when I saw this but I went on it with my friends and I had sooo much fun so don’t ever be scared to go on a roller coaster.

I feel like candimonium offers a full package for a b&m hyper. It has a airtime filled layout with a great beginning and a even greater ending.

I rode this yesterday about 30 mins after the park opened in the back row. I was surprised how fast the lift hill was for being a chain lift.
This ride was amazing, i rode it twice third row & second row. I didn't go first row because of my family. 10/10 would ride a third time
