- Take a trip on the wet side of the road! This first-person toy car journey splashes through fountains, blasts past streaming garden hoses and dunks into a swimming pool.
Music "Water Ride" by EmCee open.spotify.c...
Captured with a GoPro Hero 5 Session mounted on a Hot Wheels "Zoom In" vehicle. The track was filmed in 12 sections over the course of two days and spliced together on the computer to appear as one continuous track. Special thanks to the Carr family for allowing me to film in their backyard, and to Alyssa for her assistance including setting up the tipping water bucket and finish line.
Marble Karaoke • Marble Karaoke
Each section worked on its own except for the pipe exiting the pool. The car had to be pushed into the pipe manually and the footage of it “climbing” back to the surface is actually reversed and severely spliced to hide the fact that the car got stuck throughout the tube due to the track floating underwater and the pipes bending unevenly at their joints. The car does sink underwater as the GoPro camera is quite heavy and yes the track floats as it’s less dense than water. All footage was filmed at 90fps in 1080p HD and most of the video runs at 1/3 speed.

I'm amazed how the car stayed on the track the entire run throughout the pool. Absolutely stunning
This was also multiple takes. There's a few times where there's visible cuts
@@user-bt5ur1pr7r blue circles are things to connect the track
You can see the track slowly sinking to the bottom of the pool as the car goes along it. This is because the track was initially at the top of the pool, but the weight of the car and GoPro cause it to sink. Since its sinking its pulling the track down with it. The downward motion of sinking is then converted to a forward motion due to the track angling downward initially.
That's Fake
@@Sam-ql2lm pretty damn impressive fake if it is, but pretty sure it's not

@@megs8654 yes right it cant travel on a inclined plane for so long distance
If u look closely, at some parts of the video are cut out and edited, although water boosters are cool, if it was a small car, it would send it flying into the air. Also, either they used a tube all the way through the pool and edited the tube out until the end to seem like the car was still going, or someone was moving the car underwater. Anyway, this was awesome and very imaginative, whoever did this, keep up the good work😁
@@overthinker9616 OR... get this... gravity still works underwater!
At the start of the pool, the track is floating. Once the car reaches the pool track, the weight of the car causes the track the car is on to sink, eventually reaching bottom. Since the car is heavier than water and essentially only moving forward because the track is slowly sinking on a decline, it stays on.
Additionally, you can see that the car travels from shallow to deep ends, so even when hitting bottom, it continues forward along the pool's downward slope.
The car reaches the tube which is being pumped with water from the bottom up (notice the hose on the right side to the opening) and eventually is popped out the top end.
Hope this helps.
WOW SO GOOD!

@@jakeg3332 I could, but I wouldn't, what's the purpose? It's easy to become a UA-camr, just play the numbers, make dumb clickbait videos, leech views off of bigger entities, but I personally couldn't even be proud about having a billion dollars and a trillion subscribers if my videos were trash or completely irrelevant. UA-cam is destroying content by using an algorithm that's not designed for entertainment AT ALL. There's a single youtuber I can think of who consitently uploads good and relevant content, a channel called "Vlog creations", but that channel doesn't play the numbers game and gained success through producing quality content, which is incredibly rare on youtube these days.
I did say I expect a lot of work went into this. And I did say depending on how you look at it the video is good but the hotwheels-track is completely worthless. So I don't know what your issue with my statement is, if you enjoy this content that's good for you. I personally don't like clickbaits and I don't like things that don't actually work. For example concept cars without steering wheels, they don't actually work therefore they are completely worthless and stupid to me, however others are absolutely delighted by them. It's usually people who aren't very interested in the subject, in this example cars, or in the example of this hotwheels track I feel like you guys probably didn't build your own ones, so you don't understand why I can't respect a non-functional track. If you're into the subject the details matter very much to you. I guess it's just easier to ignore the flaws of something if you're not very deep into the subject.
I would totally ride this if this was an amusement park ride!

Yeah, there is no way the momentum and course of the Hot Wheel would have been maintained throughout that part of the video without some outside assistance that isn't visible to the viewer.
@@Bwk-mj4pm While the hot wheel car by itself wouldn't have stayed on the underwater track. The extra weight of the camera and the downward slope of the pool floor (pool gets deeper) keeps the car on the track and moving forward.
Regarding the tube, you can see just before the car goes in the tube a hose sitting right near the entrance. Air is being forced into the tube via this hose. (notice the bubbles as the car moves up and the lots of bubbles just before the car breaks the water surface). Essentially the bubbles are what pushes the car up the plastic tube to the top.
