Right at 4 minutes. This is very important information for people looking for their personal ID number... As a Canadian citizen, I have never navigated the application process before, and have not go an open profile. So I can leave it blank, and leave my spouses blank as well for the same reason. I'm glad you have mentioned this here, since it has been nagging at the back of my mind for a day or two now. Thank you very much!

Directly from the guide:
Important: To digitally sign the form, you must first complete the form and then select “print to PDF”. This will create a new a version of the form that can be digitally signed.

So, I have a few questions in the address part of this form -
1. My spouse has a PR, is currently in Montreal, studying. Residential address that's provided for Canada is of Toronto. Please guide as to how to go about adding this in the sponsor's address history (DO I need to fill the form according to Quebec requirements?)
2. In the year Aug 2021, we got married. I was unwell to the extent of two major surgeries, so my spouse even though had planned to go back to Canada after his School break from July 2021, he chose to drop the year to take care of me and went back to Canada in Aug 2022. How to go about filling this?

Since I have more than 5 employers to be listed for the last 5 years, Is there way to include more than 5? As the form clearly mentions there has to be no gaps, I'm afraid if the would incomplete if I don't give 5 years of history. Not sure on how to proceed. Any directions would much appreciated! _/\_
Question number 4 is asking for the highest level of education you have completed. I think you only need to check the college/University box since that is the highest level of education you had. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I forgot to add that with this from while submitting .That sheet has employment history of remaining 3 months out of last 5 years.
Will they reject and return my file just because of this ?

Hi thanks for the helping people like me,it’s a great job you’re doing, i’ve a question my wife is sponsoring me and she is a citizen of Canada than what is the client ID?
Check her passport or citizenship certificate(if she became naturalized). Should be a 8 or 10 digit number if she applied before for any application. If she never applied before(was a born citizen) and has never had a client ID, then she probably doesn't have a client ID, its fine too. write “Not Applicable” or “N/A” in the space provided. If the form does not allow you to write “N/A,” leave the space blank.

My spouse is in Canada, he moved this April as a PR. He mentioned me as Spouse non-accompanying when he applied for his PR visa. Now When I log in into his cic portal, an UCI number is also showing under my name.
Now we want to apply for my spousal visa ONLINE, so should I use his old ID or do I create a New ID to apply for the visa in the Online portal?

Hi I did more than 5 jobs in last 5 years . So it’s says use additional sheet . Additional sheet means just a white paper or a copy of the same form

Question 4 at 11th minute, it says only to mention the highest level of education completed. I don't think you need to select all the previous levels.

Hi Suyash, Thanks for some really good tips on your videos, they helped me a lot. I had a question in part A Q 1. of the form, I was unemployed in 2020 for about 6 months during COVID and I took CERB. There's a section asking about how did you support yourself and monthly gross Salary, what should I type in that? Out of these 6 months I was in India for 2 months and worked for 15 days for an agency and took cerb for 2 months. How to explain this? I can show my CRA documents for 2021 if needed in the file.

Don't you have to download this, sign it (by both the Sponsor & PA, wherever required), and upload it? I have been hearing conflicting opinions about this part where some say you get the application returned if there's no manual signature on the IM 1344 and IM 5532 forms. Thanks in advance.

Can you please confirm on what to include in Question4? Some websites say to include highest level of education ,including all the years together selecting only one field. For ex if it’s pg then it would be 17 or 18 depending on the situation!
I listed exactly as i showed. was not an issue. my form was accepted. i cant really confirm if what those websites are suggesting will work for this form.

Or you can just put today’s date

For 5532 form in Sponsor's employment history, in the To (YYYY-MM) field, do I still need to put the current date(month/year) or can I leave it blank if I am currently working at a certain company. Since if I put and end date, it would mean I am not currently working there.

Hi.. if submitting offline, can we take print out and then do the signature and write the latest date with blank ink or do we have to type date also and then only we can take printout and sign??
so, Date you can enter digitally but you’ll have to print to hand sign.

@@HitSubmitCanada will this not be a problem if you mention both 'student' & 'part-time worker' in this form and but on 5669 you leave the student part out coz it would overlap? will this not create any discrepancy?

You dont have to. Just write the current date or “ongoing”. its ok. they are aware of this

1. My husband was unemployed for around 10 months in the last 5 years and was studying during that time so we write unemployed under employer column but where can we explain that he was studying at that time, do we need to have a letter to explain it separately?
2. His salary for the previous job was variable each month and year based on his schedule monthly so can you please help to let us know how we can fill the monthly gross salary column.

1. yes, add a letter of explanation and provide that gap of unemployment in the form. dont leave any gaps.
2. you can provide an average salary rate, upload payslips relevant to the period and explain the details about variability in a letter of explanation

Additional addresses can be listed in pg 7, box nb 11 or you can add a letter of explanation with additional info
