Hi. Thanks for detail explanation. I have a doubt in question-7. Since we started dating 7 years ago, we don’t remember the exact dates when we met each other’s family/friends. Can I write an approximate date? Should I mention this in the additional supporting document? What should I do in this situation?
Hi correct me if I’m wrong , for Q4 -@7:39 shouldn’t you be clicking on yes? Since your wife isn’t living together with you and you have visited her during your relationship? People who’re living apart and haven’t visited each other should select option as No? Please clarify
So from what i understand, they are asking; "during your relationship(marriage in my case) have you visited?". which was not the case for me. I went for my marriage, stayed with my wife(which i explained) and came back, did not visit after. I recently visited my wife, after marriage. so, if i were applying now, then i would answer yes(because after getting married and being away from her, i visited her). that's how i would put it. you can interpret it differently and answer yes too, as long as your explanation makes sense.
Question: Is this for an inland file or an outland one? Also, @4.10 you mentioned, "if your spouse visits you on Tourist VISA, then mention those durations" - in that case, what do we answer for "Are you living together now?"
Hi thanks for these infos. Can you help me on how to sign on Signature section? And I cannot open the pdf using phone of tablet. Are these forms are only available in computers? The imm1344 and 5532 are the forms that are so difficult for me to open. Thanks
Hi Suyash, thanks for the videos. These are life savers. I am bit confused about question 4 "If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship?" Where you checked in yes and gave a explaining in "No" section. I have visited my wife only once which was during our marriage. So, I am confused if this counts as a visit during the relationship.
Thank you for clear and precise information. I know this is logical but just want to be sure. Had a query. IMM 5532e: Part C section 7, if "Relationship to sponsor or principal applicant" is "Father of Sponsor", then "Date they met sponsor or principal applicant" is the date my father met my wife(principal applicant) correct not me in this case? The question arises since there can be friends also of mine who I want to mention in the table and the date of meeting would be when they met my wife not me.
Correct me If I am wrong Name: XXXXX (Father of sponsor), Are they related to Sponsor or PA: Sponsor, Relationship to the Sponsor or PA: Father-in-law (here we are defining the relationship to PA), Date they met Sponsor or PA: YYYY-MM-DD (usually engagement or marriage date when PA met his/her Father-in-law)
Thank you so much for putting great efforts to make other’s life easy! One question though. You visited India for your wedding, before that you guys were talking over phone/text. So your relationship already had started, kinda? Then you stayed in India and got married. So when you first came to visit for marriage cant it be considered ‘yes’ for “if you are not living together, have you visited each other during your RELATIONSHIP “?
Yes so this can work both ways. I went this route: 1. In my opinion, Visiting a married partner makes a stronger case for proving a continued relationship than just visiting someone you’re dating or about to tie the knot with 2. But what you’re saying is also correct. As long as you have good documentation, both approaches should work I guess
@@shunjaruff @Hit Submit & Canada I had similar question. If I sposor travelled internationally to visit applicant before official marriage (but to attend pre marriage rocca ceremony) isn't it better to put in the Q.4 there. ?
At 09:50, you mentioned that you have given your spouse's father and mother name as they are the closest family members, how did you fill up the last column that says, Date they met sponsor or principal applicant
Hey Suyash, quick question. Part C question 7 where you furnish details of Family (mainly parents) who knew about your relationship, are these dates my parents met her and vice versa?
i provided info about both. So, first i listed my parents, and provided info about when they met principal applicant(my wife). Then listed my wife's parents, and provided info about when they met me(Sponsor). That way you cover both sponsor and applicant having met each other's parents(obviously, if they actually met)
Hey Suyah or this community Thanks again for this great video. I had a quick question regarding Q7 - Last column , do we put the day that my parents met my wife? or the day they met me? Thanks, Vivek
Have a question… so the sign you are talking about… you said we don’t have to sign if we are submitting online and we have sign digitally in the end… you it means both gonna sign digitally in the end or only sponsor? If only sponsor then it means applicants don’t have to sign anywhere in the whole application??
Hi Buddy, Quick question in regard to the signature part. I know that the applicant can submit consent and declaration in the pr portal but how does the Sponsor submit signatures? Did you happen to upload IMM 5533 as well? Thankyou
Yeah, as per the IRCC instructions, The sponsor needs to sign as well. i'd recommend, print out and sign and then scan back and upload. just make sure the scan is super clear. Yes, you will need to upload the 5533. its the document checklist that is required to be filled out and uploaded
@@HitSubmitCanada Thanks for the reply mate. Just a follow up on 5533, I don't see an upload button for 5533 specifically. Did you happen to use the "Select your document type and upload it" to upload 5533?

Quick question: I am currently in Canada on a study visa and my husband (sponsor) lives very close by. We currently can't live together for vaild reasons. But my question is: we see each other about 3-4 times a week, but either I go to his or he drives to me place. There's no real proof seeing as we're only a 30min drive away from each other so how do we best provide dates of visit when it's multiple times a week and we drive to each other's place?
Thank you so much for the informative video. It has helped a lot. One thing I’m not sure about is how to sign these documents. I have tried adobe acrobat but it is not working for these Canadian immigration forms. So i submitted my application without signing through the online PR application portal which they returned after 6 weeks labelled as incomplete for four forms which i was unable to sign. Can you please guide how to sign these forms? I have tried printing and then signing the documents, but that resulted in a really bad quality PDF.
Hi bud in regards to the question 4 of if you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship . What if you met your wife in Canada get married while living together in Canada what will be the right response?
if you are currently living together in Canada then you will check yes. It doesn’t matter where you met your wife and where you got married. The question is, are you currently living together
Thank you for your detailed information and we really appreciate it. Can you please suggest for the part C question 7, how do we list the names and should we list everyone who knew about relationship such as friends apart from family and if we list them all, do we need to provide reference letter from everyone? Thank you Kindly.
I only listed close family members(my mom dad, her mom dad, cousins and 1-2 friends who knew about the relationship. i provided 2 reference letters, one from cousin, one from friend.
@@HitSubmitCanada Thanks for your response! Did you use an extra separate sheet to list all the names? and do you think that we can list two names like mom and dad under 1 column ? Thank you

Hi, Can you please help me with one doubt? As this part -C says "To be filled out by the sponsor and principle applicant", and my husband is the principle applicant ,can he only fill it out? Hey Suyash, Thank you so much for such an informational video. It helped me a lot in my process for getting spousal sponsorship. My wife is already in Canada as PR. My question is I moved to Australia in June 2018 and came back to India in June 2019 for engagement and also got our marriage registered (Without Indian rituals). Had to go back to Aus after a month for completing studies. Due to covid, ritual wedding got delayed and traveled back to Ind in July 2021 and that's when we got married with Indian Rituals. What do you think we should do for our case? Call out both the weddings? Or just the one with registered.
Hi, first of all thank you so much for the detailed video. I am having a doubt My husband is a PR in canada, we were into relationship for 8 years and now we got married on September and he stayed with me for 3 weeks. Now he left to Canada for work. How to fill in the question 8?
Hi Suyash Thank you for the informational video. Appreciate the details and all the effort. If one needs to use an extra sheet to fill in any of those answers in the 5532e form, then how do they upload that extra sheet in the online portal ? Do we upload it under "Other" Category with the following file name format , Last Name - First Name - IMM5532e - Extra Sheet-1.pdf ?
Bro the space is not enough to cover many of the things asked. Is it ok to submit a separate word doc to answer in details about all these Part C questions?
hi, suyesh, so my husband and i were living together already before we got married, then my they sponsored me and we were not married then that time , so how should i answer the question "are you living together now?"
Thank you for clear and precise information. Query regarding my personal situation, For Ques 4, In my case I have visited India between Jan 2022 to March 2022 and we met first time in Feb 2022 (before that I didn't know her) and everything got arranged after that. She is currently in India and I am in Canada. So my question is, have you visited each other during your relationship? will this be yes or no particularly for my case? From couple of my sources I received different answer. Can you direct me the correct path with your views?
Hi Suyash. I follow your videos a lot. Yesterday I submitted the spouse PR application. I am married since 6 years and I have a child who stays with my spouse in India. I came to Canada on PR alone 2 years back because I didnt get my family during covid. My spouse and child are already recognized as non-accompanying dependents on my COPR. And now I am sponsoring them. I have attached all documents like proof of cohabitation, marriage pics, social media posts, chats etc along with joint bank account statement, insurance benefits etc. I did not attach relationship essay. Is that a mandatory document? Though I realize that everyone puts that in the application, I didnt see anything specifically mentioned in the checklist. I am anxious that my application will be rejected. Do you know anything about relationship essay?
Relationship essay is not mandatory. Usually only needed in the form of letter of explanation when clarifying something for the officer. If all documents you submitted are in good shape and easy to understand, then essay not needed. also, there is no mention of essay in requirements.
In point 4 the question is if you are not living together have you visited each other during your relationship. Shouldn’t the answer be yes? And the explanation should be provided if the answer is no. So is that an error?
Hi, A quick question, address history part is to big for me. So is it possible to add extra sheet along with application form while submitting through online? Where should I upload it. It it with application form or with other documents. Please reply
that is up to you. since, the instructions clearly allow for additional documents, you can certainly add another document and label it accordingly and attach it under the "Other" section or with the form
Hi Suyash, Thank you for uploading this video. I have a question regarding the dates in the form. Can I enter the dates(signature section) manually with pen after generating the barcode. Coz my wife is in india and I have to get her signature after generating the barcode.
hi, i do have question, regarding 5532, in our documents we did not change address, that means we dont have any same address proof, what should i do ? it is necessary?
Hi Suyash, I was confused about Q4. If you are not living together, have you visited each during your relationship. So, me and my spouse (PA) are living together in canada at same residence for almost a year. But she was in India after our marriage in 2021 till April 2023. I did not visit India during that time except for a month for the wedding. Does that section apply to us as we are living together now? Shall I ignore both yes and no checkboxes? Thanks so much for your time

Hello Suyash, I have few questions regarding to IMM 5532e , part - C, Que: 8, a. was your marriage arranged as our marriage was love marriage but our parents were involved in the all ceremony. Does it call arranged or not? Another question, Because of the safety purposes, i didn't changed my mailing address on my legal document and gave my cousin's address, but me and my wife were living together on that time. how can i prove that scenario? shall I need to put any explanation letter to prove that scenario? i just have one rental document for 3 month which described our names on that lease document only, but after that it convert it to month to month and we didn't sign any lease after. Currently, I have changed all my addresses on legal documents but all of them are just 3 months old. Please advice. thanks for all the help.

Chatted for 3 months. Then I went to my native country. Got engaged and legally married during my 3 month trip . Hi Suyash, and many thanks for making these videos! I have a question about the spousal application. In this part of the video (ua-cam.com/video/0yVmzDUx5ls/v-deo.html) you are referring to an original application that got approved. What is this application? Do you need to submit anything else prior to the sponsorship application?
@@HitSubmitCanada it’s around 1 minutes from the beginning of the video. I don’t know why the time URL didn’t work. Thanks for your response in advance!
@@HitSubmitCanada thank you for your reply. Really appreciate it. One more thing; I am a little bit confused about the way cic talks about the sponsorship application. It says that you need to apply for two applications (become a sponsor + the main applicant pr application) but submit them at a same time. So if you submit all the required form (ones that you explained in your videos) and submit them according to the cic instructions (checklist, etc.), does it count for these two applications? Or there are more? If you share your thoughts on that would be very useful for the group. Many thanks again.
So, the sponsorship application is the single application for sponsor and applicant. once you send in the complete application, sponsor approval and applicant approval will happen in stages.
The number of likes do not do justice to the content you have created. Great work, thanks a lot!

or principal applicant" is the date my father met my wife(principal applicant) correct not me in this case? The question arises since there can be friends also of mine who I want to mention in the table and the date of meeting would be when they met my wife not me.
Could you tell me how you solved this question?
Correct me If I am wrong
Name: XXXXX (Father of sponsor),
Are they related to Sponsor or PA: Sponsor,
Relationship to the Sponsor or PA: Father-in-law (here we are defining the relationship to PA),
Date they met Sponsor or PA: YYYY-MM-DD (usually engagement or marriage date when PA met his/her Father-in-law)
I went this route:
1. In my opinion, Visiting a married partner makes a stronger case for proving a continued relationship than just visiting someone you’re dating or about to tie the knot with
2. But what you’re saying is also correct. As long as you have good documentation, both approaches should work I guess
@@HitSubmitCanada make sense! Thanks for all the efforts buddy!
So, the day my parents met my wife’s family.
@@HitSubmitCanadaHi Suyash. What if we don’t know the exact date when we met?
Hey Suyah or this community
Thanks again for this great video. I had a quick question regarding Q7 - Last column , do we put the day that my parents met my wife? or the day they met me?
Thanks, Vivek

After you printed and sing the form that needs to be sing where did you upload that page or form ? In what category?

Have a question… so the sign you are talking about… you said we don’t have to sign if we are submitting online and we have sign digitally in the end… you it means both gonna sign digitally in the end or only sponsor? If only sponsor then it means applicants don’t have to sign anywhere in the whole application??
You have to sign.
I explain in detail under the description section of the video. Look under “ATTENTION”

I'd recommend use a good quality scanner at a professional studio to retain quality.

I only listed close family members(my mom dad, her mom dad, cousins and 1-2 friends who knew about the relationship. i provided 2 reference letters, one from cousin, one from friend.

for Question 4, you should say 'Yes' right? and fill out the dates, Since you went to India to get married? or When they say 'have you visited each other during your relationship?' do they mean after the wedding? like after the relationship was officiated by a wedding ceremony?
Yes, i think they mean visited after officiating the relationship.
Hi, Can you please help me with one doubt?
As this part -C says "To be filled out by the sponsor and principle applicant", and my husband is the principle applicant ,can he only fill it out? Or how we both can fill out this together as we are in different country? I am not his representative, i am the sponsor .Thanks in Advance!!

When they say was your marriage arranged ? Meaning marriage has taken place or if marriage was "arranged" or "love" ?
if marriage was "arranged" or "love"
Hey Suyash,
Thank you so much for such an informational video. It helped me a lot in my process for getting spousal sponsorship. My wife is already in Canada as PR.
My question is
I moved to Australia in June 2018 and came back to India in June 2019 for engagement and also got our marriage registered (Without Indian rituals).
I am having a doubt
My husband is a PR in canada, we were into relationship for 8 years and now we got married on September and he stayed with me for 3 weeks. Now he left to Canada for work. How to fill in the question 8?
It was love com arranged marriage!
So, you can fill it out the way i fill it out, answer who when and where. i think its better to treat it as arranged for your application purpose.
If my husband is filling it for me from Canada, how can I sign at the end on the document?
Hi Suyash
Thank you for the informational video.
Yes that will work. You’re using the right labelling
You can upload two documents under imm5532e.
what date we put for people knowing our relation
the they we meet them or the sponsor meet them
What if there is no space to add more details, like i need to explain but spaces isnt enough, can increased text box
Bro the space is not enough to cover many of the things asked. Is it ok to submit a separate word doc to answer in details about all these Part C questions?
Yes absolutely ok
hi, suyesh, so my husband and i were living together already before we got married, then my they sponsored me and we were not married then that time , so how should i answer the question "are you living together now?"
Thank you for clear and precise information. So my question is, have you visited each other during your relationship? will this be yes or no particularly for my case?
From couple of my sources I received different answer. Can you direct me the correct path with your views?
Please let me know if you have found any answer.
Did you find an answer?
Do you mind if I ask if you have heard anything back about your application status?

hi, i do have question, regarding 5532, in our documents we did not change address, that means we dont have any same address proof, what should i do ? it is necessary?
Hi Suyash, I was confused about Q4. If you are not living together, have you visited each during your relationship.
So, me and my spouse (PA) are living together in canada at same residence for almost a year. But she was in India after our marriage in 2021 till April 2023. I did not visit India during that time except for a month for the wedding. Does that section apply to us as we are living together now? Shall I ignore both yes and no checkboxes? Hello Suyash,
I have few questions regarding to IMM 5532e , part - C, Que: 8, a. was your marriage arranged
as our marriage was love marriage but our parents were involved in the all ceremony.

Thanks for the lovely videos you are creating. My wife and I met on a matrimonial website(we liked each other's profile so no parents involved). Chatted for 3 months. Then I went to my native country. Got engaged and legally married during my 3 month trip .
I had a query related to IMM 5532e Part C.
1) Will this be called arranged marriage as per this question: Was your marriage arranged?.
2) If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship. We met each other multiple times but only during the same visit that I was there for 3 months and not before. Was curious to know what to answer there.
Thanks again for the help!
1. I would say, not arranged as you did it yourself. Mine was arranged by parents.
2. Yes you can use those as proof of visit but provide a very clear explanation of your complete timeline
