  • Last year I reviewed a power station made by Bluetti (it was the AC200P at the time) and the top viewer question was about seeing a solar panel setup. Yes, these power stations are compatible with many standard solar panel setups, but in this video I'll be demonstrating a new power station (the AC200L) along with Bluetti's own portable solar panel, the PV420. It can potentially collect 420 watts of power. It came in a little less than that on the day I shot the video, but that would have to do with the intensity and angle of the sun as well. All told it took the power station up from 50% capacity to full in about 3 hours.
Many thanks to Bluetti for sending me these products for review. Here's a link to their website: www.bluettipower.com/

Brilliant power bank! It will be of much use where I live in rural BC! Our power goes out for days at a time.

    The interesting thing is...
These systems are actually quite useful as long as the expectations are within the true capabilities of power being generated.
A day or 2 and decent clear sun, in temperatures between 50F/10C and 90F/30C will certainly be adequate to power small devices, a couple of lights and small, low wattage appliances.
Although this system will obviously not power your whole house, it will absolutely be a convenient comfort in the short emergency situations.😉
While this year has definitely been an eye opener for a lot of people concerning solar and lithium batteries, in all honesty, there is a reasonable place that is both practicle and useful.🤙

The caliche soil here in Central Texas laughs at those stakes. LOL! Seriously though, that's a neat little device.

You bet - and Murphy's Law has me pick a camp site that bends stakes and staples every time!

Very handy to have! We lose power 2-10 time a year.

For sure, depending on your setup and how long the market is, it might eliminate the need to run a generator.

Good morning. Thank you so much. Installing solar panels is out of my financial ability but i do need some alternative to bring down the electric bills. This i think is the answer :)

How long would it run the greenhouse heat mats?

Heating applications are generally the highest draw on the batteries, but it would depend on the wattage of course

I like the look and function of these but I find the price a bit steep. I built my own for just over half the price using parts off of amazon and a couple old large batteries I had laying around. The batteries are much higher capacity than this unit too.

I bet I can light a fire and boil some water quicker than you can clean the snow off that thing and plug in a kettle. Jokes of course.
