That was extremely helpful!! I have a supervisor that does not communicate well at all and when I confronted him about it he took me to the company HR and told me that he doesn’t need to communicate better. The HR rep confirmed that it’s not his job to communicate to us but it’s my job to not let the overwhelming work load stress me out. It’s only natural to see the load and not know what to do.I left crying and was so confused about all I thought I knew about a supervisors role over a team. Now I know I WAS NOT WRONG!! I’m gonna memories this video and use it to be a better employee regardless of his role/not role.

companies make no sense. people in management are usually corrupt and think of employees as low status. the truth is management is supposed to be employees assistants to provide what you need to do the job.. if they arent doing that and they are mean to you and degrade you then they are power tripping and corrupt.

I believe Mr. McNall presented a very nice overview of supervisory principles. He touched on quite a number of issues without the use of notes showing a firm understanding of his topic. I appreciate that he took the time to share ways to serve the role of a supervisor, because it isn't easy and not all organizations provide adequate training to fill that role.

Thank you I need motivation with my recent co workers being unmotivated. You always have that feeling of being judged by task not being accomplished.

Look at this guy. he looks as if the soul has been sucked out of his body and replaced with corporate mantra. This man has missed many vacations to make the company happy and my heart goes out to him.

I like the concept which is still the same today at the age of AI's taking over, planning for space mining and colonies on Mars, we are still standing on the ground and nothing has changed. All is valid as it was before. Creative mind brought help though, to support leaders in their most difficult tasks: “Manage each employee in a manner that allows them to perform up to their potential.”

This kind of training is only good when applies to factories or repetitive jobs. Unfortunately the job training on this video is useless for present and for the future where the primary objective for a company will be to select creative minds, workers that can think outside the box to find new ideas and solutions, timing the breaks is no help is such cases. Do you want to maximize production? I suggest robotics.

Wtf? He is professional and mature and gave a first class presentation . He appeared really realiable and trustworthy as well. Do you want your business to run by some asshole supervisor or him ? Do you want to be supervised by him or some snobby bastard?
