Very nice video and very helpful. was kind of hard to find a 3.5L Dodge/Chrysler Engine. This video will definitely help. Gonna use to change my spark plugs on a 2010 challenger. Thank you so much!
We had an issue with a vacuum leak at the egr tubing at the rear. Be careful to make sure that the egr gasket at the rear is still in good condition and that you get the intake plenum seated well into the egr tube.
Yes it’s very important to make sure that ring gasket goes back on properly for the intake manifold. If doing this job, probably best to just replace that o-ring gasket with a new one
I was told after you change the spark plugs you have to reset the engine!? Is this true and, if it is, how do you do it? Now thanks to you I can do it myself. Thanks bro.
I don’t believe that it’s necessary, but If you disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 5+ mins that will reset everything. Glad I could help 👍🏼
Where would you recommend if I couldn't do the work myself what shop would you recommend to take it to to have this done on a 2010 Dodge journey V6 3.5 l engine tune up needed
Sorry to hear that. Things to check for would be to make sure that EGR valve gasket on the back of the intake is in place properly and not damaged. That will cause the car to run rough and possibly put it into “limp” mode. Other than that, I would just make sure plugs are gapped properly. Hope this helps
Getting etc light, codes read egr valve, was going to change, does taking off intake make it easier to get to egr? Will do plugs also, just trying to find easier way to get to egr. Thanks

Immediate like and comment for showing the tools at the start, you're awesome.
I have watched several videos trying to find someone who went slow enough without wasting time, thank you so much, better than 1A auto . thank you
Year old comment but I agree. They basically dismantle vehicles just to change a tire.
Can you do a video on how you cleaned the engine bay please
do you think the cause of rough idling is bad spark plugs and ignition coils?

I got a 2010 SE with 55k miles too, how is she treating you?

Great video. Are any gaskets required to be replaced? Thanks for the help.
gonna do mine this weekend good video and info.
MY 2004 300M 3.5L V6 spark plugs is really easy to get to👍👍

I didn't see it but in this video did you change the gasket before putting the intake back on?
I do not change it out. The gasket still felt fine and had no cracking in it so didn’t see the need to replace it
make sure the EGR tube is plugged ALL THE WAY IN to the plentum with O-Ring tucked in

Nice video
I did this to my 2010 charger last weekend and now it's running like total crap! Gonna have to take it all apart this weekend to see what happened ugh

Very good quality video. 👍
Fuck dude makes me not even wanna do mine this is too much shit to take off lol

Why isn’t my intake valve coming off?
It should if you took all bolts out ...especially by the brackets like in the video and the ones by throttle body as well
Do you have to use a gap gauge while doing this?
if you order specifically for your car model, they come gapped to spec like the NGK oem
