full series with Chloe. I think we all want to see a beginner like her progress throughout the year and end up throwing tricks around the park. LET'S GO.
I wish I could have all these people around me while learning each trick, cheering and supporting me all the way through HAHAHAHAHAHA That'll make it less frustrating and lonely (Girl starting to learn at 30 here)
I cant speak for your area but in my experience skaters at the skate park have been extremely helpful. I got alot of advice when trying to learn to drop in from them! But i believe in you! You got this!!!
I'm just starting at 26. I'm so hyped every time when I thinking about the board itself because of Braille videos. There is so much positivity in their work and it is extremely motivating. :) You can do it!
I'd love to see more videos with Chloe. I'm about the same skill level as her right now so seeing her skate is much more inspiring to me than most of the other Braille videos.
About the Chloe's series, she is so charismatic, have that contagious positive energy and such a high level of commitment that it would feel too short no matter what you do to make it last.
I've spoken with Chloe many times through email and I must say she has always been so nice and so awesome!! Truly goes out of her way! She's awesome!!!!
its been 10 years since i skated, watching this channel inspired me to get out buy a board and re learn everything i had 10 years ago! i cant thank you guys enough for the inspiration to get back on
I think I agree with that lot of people here. 38 year old just starting out. Chloe is cute and has a great personality. Love that she laughs through everything and would like to see a beginner series about her learning since i am just beginning and learning too. Let’s get that series poppin!
a series about chloe's skateboarding journey would be so so helpful for beginners!! she asks questions about problems experienced skaters might not even think about because it's second nature to them.
I've been trying to land a kickflip for 27 years, granted I took about 15 years off, haha. But, i'm back now. I've been watching Braille, and some other channels. I've only been back to skating, maybe, two weeks and I feel like I'm closer to landing a kickflip than I've every been. I'm 41. For anyone that thinks it, you're not too old. In a lot of ways, it felt like I stepped off a board yesterday. Though, there are a few kinks that need working out, haha!
I have been skating for about a year now and honestly can say the best way to improve is to practice as much as you can and also friends can hype you up too! I never thought I could tre flip, 50-50 ledges, and all the other tricks I have learned. Seeing Chloe get this close in an hour is something to be inspired by and should tell you to go out and skate no matter how hard the trick you are learning is!
Today I just learned my first ollie down a one stair! Before attempting it, I watched Aaron’s latest video on his shoes and his story inspired me and pushed me to keep trying!
Thanks Aaron. I landed my first Ollie on my first day of riding and it was all because of your tutorials. I am still recovering from a drop in fall. I can't wait to get back to skating
I'm currently relearning skateboarding in my early 30s. I have to skate within my ability. Thank you for motivating me to skate again. I had to stop for while, because I wanted to be a chef. It's very hard to have hand, wrist, or ankle injuries; yet preform your job. I know it's a long story, but this channel gave me the confidence to start again. You guys showcase the love, it doesn't matter how skilled you are. It's about the joy skateboarding can provide.
Aaron finally brings it up. No one ever talks about the importance of the upper body - waist / torso position / arms / eyes /head position. All super important and especially for learning new tricks. GJ Chloe, I'm sure that was super intimidating you did amazing.
Get the road to Chloe going pro going! I'd watch that. Also.... we need more of Aaron Kyro's road to Vert.... even though I wear headphones when watching youtube and he flippin screams for courage lol
I havnt commented on any video yet but i realized you guys are the reason i started skateboarding and ive been skateboarding nonstop for like 5 months and can do all tricks up to kickflip, there not pretty but im trying so thankyou Aaron and everyone on this channel ive been watching you guys for longer then a year but i finally started skateboarding and i love it😂🤙🏼
You got this Chloe. Im 36 and have been takin some slams and its not that bad. I still have a blast. I can ollie stationary and shove it and some other basic tricks. I can flip my board but no where near landing it.
Love to see more skater girls! Today I went to the skatepark and I was the only girl among 20 men, and a completely beginner girl came and we ended up being friends! Sometimes the environment seems scary but skaters in fact dgaf about u, so go out and gave fun!!
Currently resting up from a roller skating injury and now think in of maybe trying to learn once I get back on wheels. I would love to see more of Chloe ! Its so cool to see girls killing it in a usually guy dominated space. Love what your doing !
Watched your videos for years, finally bought a skateboard at 26 and did an ollie first try. Really your way to teach and passion for skating really pushed me to go for it. A big ty from France.
Go Chloe!!! That was sick. Also- I think watching skateboarding subconsciously helps your mind. You can tell she’s watched these guys for a while cuz the motions are down pat.
You really should get a beginner bar, some that has a few heights to it, you also should get one that you can hold over your head as well (A lot of people I know when i had them hold a rail did better on a pullup bar actually).
That’s some crazy progress for an hour girl! Crusshed! It! Easily took me a day to land a kick flip and I tried skateboarding after other sports, so it felt a little familiar. Learning these skills is hard work. Mad props to New and Old riders out there, keep it up.
_Ricky goes to the Braille drop_ Me: I like the way you're thinking Ricky. If she falls down from that, she'll be over any future fears instantly. _Ricky uses the handrails that's on the Braille drop area to hold on to during kickflip_ Me: Ah yeah, that's totally what I was thinking about too!! ;)
Yo homies. I started skating with my friends on long boards about 6 months ago and after going on the occasional cruise with them, I decided I was going to start skateboarding. So I bought a board a couple months ago and still have trouble landing ollies and shuv its. DONT STOP TRYING!!!! I’m finally getting them down and it feels amazing to land one every once in a while.
Dont worry Chloe, you got the nicest people to help out. Im alone at the skatepark and already hurt both ankles learning ollie. So I stopped trying and continued to learn pushing and kickturn on flat and mini ramps first. It felt great to feel how you will start to balance more on one foot for longer time, so you can speed up.
The best part of this video is when Chloe is at the top of the braille drop and first flips the board. The camera pans up to Aaron and he's looking at Gabe for a few seconds with a smile on his face. He looks down at the camera and, very gently and with a tone of love, "she can do this."
One way I learned to kickflip was sitting down on a chair or bench and just practice the flip motion for hour till I got the flip the tried it in place
It took me 3 months to figure out a shuv it and here she is on hour 1. Kick flip took another 2 months or so. All of this was daily practice for over an hour each day. Anything is possible! You just gotta believe!
This. I don’t ever tell people to push the tail to the ground. I tell them to jump upwards off their back foot and lift their front foot. The tail hits the ground as a byproduct of jumping.
Would you be able to learn a Kickflip in an hour?! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
