    I am the biggest fan of moringa that anyone I swear. I got hurt pretty bad falling from a run in Aruba. Everyone was gathering real moringa from the actual trees for me. I didn't want to take medicine that I didn't know so I went for the moringa. The next day I totally forgot I got hurt. I slept like a baby and zero pain! The real "fresh " stuff is beyond amazing. They even sell the fresh leaves in the supermarket! I sure wish it grew here... Quite a back story for the planet being sent to malnourished nations where nothing grows. Life changing for so many. It's so good for you!

    I'm struggling to understand why either one of them would need to supplement micronutrients when they're eating a balanced healthy diet? I get the other stuff like Ashwagandha and so on but why take iron, calcium, magnesium etc when you should be getting all of that from food.

    • @KatToupsMD
      @KatToupsMD Місяць тому +1

      Melatonin has an inverse dose/sedation curve.
      It's actually more sedating at lower doses. It certainly is not any more sedating when you go above 5 mg.
      20 mg is commonly used with breast cancer for its potent anti-inflammatory properties.
      So 10 to 20 mg is not sedating. I can take 20 mg in the evening and it doesn't make me sleepy at all.
      I do recommend taking Melatonin in the evening though because that's when your body is making it

    Just read an article in Newsweek stating fish oil supplements may increase risk of stroke and heart disease for some: Over an average 12-year monitoring period, those with no known cardiovascular disease at the start of the study who regularly took fish oil supplements were 13 percent more likely to develop atrial fibrillation-a condition that causes an abnormal heart rhythm and increases your risk of stroke-and 5 percent more likely to have a stroke than those who did not take the supplements.
