Like your dad, I’ve been in aviation for 50 years now, 4 in the military, 46 with a major airline. I also love ships, so I tour all the ships I can on our 3 coasts. I love your videos, and appreciate the huge effort you make to put them out. Thanks Karanvir.
I wasn't feeling well and I'm bed ridden. I was so so so stressed but watching your vlog makes me feel so good:) I immediately tap on the notification to see your vlogs. That's the amount of excitement I hold for your videos.
Hi Karan, I happened to chance upon your videos, and I must comment that it really helps me as an onshore staff at Maersk (SIN office) further appreciate and cherish our seafarers out at sea. Do keep the good work up, and perhaps we can connect someday in SIN office. :) Regards, Leonard Sim, Marine HR Dept.
me too - just stumbled upon Lt KSN - what a legend... explains everything in a really clear and passionate way - far better, i think, than professional documentaries. I love his serenity and spirituality that definitely underpins his bubbly and passionate character. I am 43 now but if i was 15 years old and considering a career at sea ... i know this channel would be my main inspiration!
It's tough for ship fellows to spot us up there but we have to admit we love the views of watching those utterly massive ships of u guys slowly and steadily moving across. 🖤
heyi dear,, again a great great video much informative, Happy to see the refueling of sea,, got to know new terms such as Bunker barge ,, ship's voyage box etc background music is really inspirational, Great things to learn about the marine Industry through your videos, God bles you
Currently I'm working in Refinery operation, this is pretty similar to Ship like.. Enginee, EOT Crane, Hydraulic System, Propeller, Work shop, Control valves, Variety of Valves, Control room & DCS, Coveralls, Refrigeration unit, Chemical dosing, MSDS, TPM, 5S , Safety, PPE, and many more

Greetings from Enland. Very interesting video - as usual. There was a very brief glimpse of the food that was laid out and I wondered if you have to pay for meals or are the part of your employment package? Either way, it made me feel hungry and I think I will have a frozen ready meal curry to see me through the next few hours. I really should make my own but sometimes a shop bought meal has to suffice. Stay safe out there young 'un. Ready for your next upload.
Great video. A great deal of thinking to give such practical view point of the working of the ship. Very informative for a young would be person of the sea. 👍
Great vids as usual. Always watch, dont always get chance to comment. Off to a western Caribbean, eastern Mexico cruise from Galveston right after Christmas.I always look at ships a bit differently after seeing your cool vids. Hope you have a good holiday.
Good afternoon to you. I must say that technology and "list making/following" has certainly changed since I left in 1988 ish. One thing that you have hardly broached and that is, daily sights - for example, three of, firstly mine on the 4-8, taking star sights, 3/0 and apprentices doing noon, generally long by chrom, primarily to get used to using the sextant and get used to being put under pressure, again mine on the 4-8. I would now imagine that most of yours (according to my nephew who is 2/0 on passenger boats) is mainly Sat Nav and only do star/sun sights once or twice a week to keep them selves in practice. Unless I have missed one of your blogs, would you be so kind to film your modern positioning. Many thanks, and keep up the great work.
I miss Singapore !! Depending which port you dock at - I had a storage unit for some things and the place faced onto one of the ports and I used to watch the dockside cranes on wheels/rails moving up and down and taking containers off ships. Constant moving of things.
Awesome Karan, huge fuel cost, i was just thinking wats the economy ur sailing with, and I appreciate that ur also getting ships housekeeping, where v all escape at home to do....that's life and v all to appreciate our parents where vil only know the values when v r away from home... Good luck cheers 👍
I remember filling my ship back years ago with over one million dollars worth of fossil fuel (aircraft carrier) I'm Shure glad they are all now nuclear powered. This video really brings back beautiful awesome memories of my days as a boiler technician way down in engineering. Thank you for bringing up these great memories.

Wonderful and so informative indeed! Loved this one as well!! Just had a small question, do you have any upcoming voyages to Indian ports, specially Gujarat ports like Mundra, Hazira or Pipavav?
That was a lot of things happening simultaneously - cargo loading/unloading, taking on provisions, taking on fuel, and off-loading garbage... I guess space and time in a busy port like that are valuable, so the ship tries to get as much done at once as possible?
Hi karan.. Hamaisha ki tarha tumhain daikh Kar bohat achaa laga .duty bohat ziaada tight bhi aur schedule bohat ziaada busy.but I appreciate your job and your responsibilities.. bohat ziaada duaain .. Good take care of yourself and be safe 🥰

It appears scenes in your video took place around the 26th of September. I have a friends on Ly Son Island in Vietnam that had some house damage because of Storm Nuru. I was actually following that storm because it looked like it was going to be a direct hit on the island but then it shifted north to Da Nang.
You up early again? Next time stop at Sunoco gas station it's a little cheaper 🤣🤣. And you can use your credit card points for gas. I'm going to call a few friends in Africa so when you get there you can pick up a package for me. Thanks for the Egg Fu Yung in China. You know I always mess with you my brother. Thank you for the incredible content you post. Have a safe passage and God bless you and your ship. And thank the Captain for me. For letting you document your journey and showing it to us. God bless🙏
Another great video. Unusual sight is that the bunker ships in Singapore are so big. Here in Europe, as you know, they are small. How long did it take to refuel? Surely it went faster than here in Europe, didn't it? I wish you a Merry Christmas.👏😊💙🎄🙏
Karaanvir, I've seen many videos of bulk & container ships refueling from bunker barges, my question is why or how can a bunker barge be so much small next to the massive sizes of the ships they refuel, granted they're not carrying the 1000s of tons of grain or coal or the many 1000s of containers your ships carry but to me the bunker barges seem minute in size compared to the ships they refuel. Be Well & Safe out there my friend.
