After traveling for more than 8000 nautical miles, we finally reach our first destination in Tema, Ghana.
It was a wild journey with rough weather all along Indian Ocean & South Atlantic ocean.
I highly recommend you all, to check the previous episodes to get a glimpse of that.
In this video, I am going to show you the approach to Tema along with the events that took place enroute.

I don't understand. Did you unload just some of those containers? Or did you pick more up? You didn't seem to be there long enough to unload many containers. Is that normal to load or unload SOME but not ALL containers at a given stop?

Really appreciate your work as sailor as well as you tuber . I feel this stream is very underrated as common people have many misconception about merchant navy sailors. Your efforts can make the difference in the way of thinking of common man towards the sailors. Keep up the good work.

Hi Karanvir, thank you for another interesting video! I have a couple of questions when you have time. 1. While waiting to go into this port, you 'circled in place' instead of anchoring. Is that because the wait was not very long and not worth to do an anchoring operation? 2. Rat guards! I couldn't really see what they look like. Do they stop the rats from coming aboard or do they trap them as well? I am happy that you like the smaller ship. Had to laugh at the 'same money, less work'. Win-win! With all these new routes and new ports you're getting so much more navigating experience. Great job!❤️

I have a question or idea for a future video. Can you tell us about the radios you use? I'm an amateur radio operator (ham radio). I'm curious about the radios you use aboard. Obviously you have a marine radio (and probably a backup or two) to talk to harbors and other ships. What about the portable radios you use for crew to crew communications during inspections, docking, etc? What type are they, what frequency do they operate on? I'm sure you also have a GPS receiver or two for navigation, maybe a satellite link too? What does the ship do for internet when well off shore? Is there a link or is internet only available when you are in port or near a port?
