Hello Andrew 🤣 Loved watching that pattern emerge in the buttercream! I also have so much respect for the time you put into crediting the person who inspired this ❤️
❤️love the step by step explanation also LOVE that u mentioned the marbling is under the first scraping. I tried marbling before I freaked out when it started blending into each other.
Mary, I love your videos. I am new to cake decorating. I need to practice decorating but I don't need all that cake. What is your suggestion for practicing decorating?
Gorgeous cake. I'm also experimenting with wafer paper at the moment. Have you ever tried to put it through a cutting machine? And of course: Hi Andrew 👋
Amazing, what is wafer paper glue made of and what is the conditioner. I have rice paper and want to a cake topper. Perhaps a sail. How would I do that.
The glue is just wafer paper scraps dissolved in water. You can nuke it for about 30 seconds or leave it over night. The conditioner is 1 tsp liquid food grade glucose in 4 tsp water. It adds flexibility to the paper. So that you can add texture of fold it easier without cracking as much.
Beautiful cake as always! Hello Andrew lol . May I ask where you purchased your green mat from? I love the fact that you can cut on it. Thank you in advance. Love from NJ. 💜
I noticed your question and I hope I am not stepping on anyone’s toes, but I got my mat at my local art store. You could also use Amazon and type in self healing cutting mat. My mat is green on one side and black on the other and measurements are in inches and centimeters
@@lisaanderson135 Hello, I truly appreciate your kindness regarding that information. I will definitely check on Amazon. I love the size and it's definitely hard using an xacto knife on the silicone mats. 😊
WOW! I love how you are able to take a technique and simplify it so that is beginners can do it. So beautiful.
I love that the movement pattern is still seen underneath. Yay!!
Вы- копилка с идеями!!!!!👍👍👍
Wow, tolle Technik!
Thank you for the wafer paper design

Intrigued!! What kind of cutting machine?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Gorgeous Mary. Hi Andrew. 😂 That green mat is awesome, where did you get it?
It is a quilting self healing mat and you can find them at most crafting g
stores and amazon I beleive;)
Hi Andrew! :-)
How do you price tall tiers? Do you double the serving count for tall tiers and price for each serving?

I did do a bowl in another tutorial that would basically be the same technique as a sail;)

Can I use just buttercream? Thank you.
For sure! That is what I used on this one;)
Or do you mean for the crumbcoat? Again, that would be a yes.
Do I have to freeze it, my cake won’t fit in my freezer
😊💫💫💫
Hi👋👋 what type of buttercream do you use?
I use a crusting American but you can also do this with Swiss or Italian Meringue.
Thank you a lot❤️🤗🤗
Beautiful marbling technique, but here in the uk, it’s illegal to put florist wire straight into a cake!
