AJL Guitars Custom Silent Selmer Demo

Custom AJL gypsy jazz guitar played by Olli Soikkeli, Sébastien Giniaux and me. Plus cameo appearance by my dog Juno (pronounced "You-Know" in Finnish).
The guitar is designed and built by Ari-Jukka Luomaranta (AJL Guitars) in 2011. It has a stiff laminated and padded top and open back, which enables fairly silent practicing, which is nice for anyone with family or a shared flat. Same construction principles make this guitar very feedback resistant; armed with a Miller magnetic pickup, it can be taken to the loudest gigs with no problems.
It has a Favino-sized body (435mm/16.7"), a sturdy D-shape neck, 14 frets to the body, and it's designed to be played with "gypsy jazz strings", light steel strings with silver wrapped copper wound, like for instance Savarez Argentines. Playing feel is the same as in regular Selmer/Maccaferri/Favino guitars.
