I realize all these, yet I cannot abandon my career job. On one hand is my mental health, on the other is my career. The saddest part is that I am emotionally invested in this very specialized scientific work. Quitting for me means losing an essence of me built up for the last decade.

A few days ago, there was an article on MSN listing 20 tactics of a narcissist. I have been subjected to all 20 of them and not only by one person, but by a few of them. :) :) :) I am free now, and listening to videos like this one gives me some closure and assures me that going NO-CONTACT was a right decision.

It wasn’t until I saw my sister of whom I hadn’t seen in months, that I got the wake up call of the physical damage of being in Narc relationship had on me. I denied all of the unobservable physical symptoms, but a family member calling me out shook me up. I could no longer deny the obvious. She hadn’t seen me and said I looked like crap and had lost so much weight. I have moved on but am still struggling

THEY don't listen unless its about them , i have noticed this. but some people don;t have all the traits, only some I think they are a little, not fully narcissist
