The best part of this is how epic Don's verse is and then Sancho's just like, "I'm Sancho... I'm his friend!"

He did finish it! I saw it last year and it's wonderful ! Look for " The man who killed don Quixote" worth every minute of the 27 years it took to get it on screen . And just before he died

Babies laughing , Betty White, silly walks ,Ringo ,and all the Pythons .despite my unfortunate " senior-rita moment in the early am because I was so excited to say it I could feel my last brain actually withering away . I took off the last sentence several times as I was thoroughly aware that I couldn't retrieve a single name reliably , at four am or twelvity noon forty seven or whatever , but honestly I am a true huge fan ! This shows you don't need a good look or a good voice to sing. Simply the will to do so, and you can do anything.

It actually goes to show the opposite. Peter O'Toole isn't singing this at all. He lip-synching a la Milli Vanilli. The actual singer was a guy named Simon Gilbert....who I guess didn't look the part

The 19th century Russians (those still without class guilt) professed a dialectic between Don Quixote and Hamlet. I don't see a dialectic, so much as disgusting circumstance. They're basically the same guy, but I guess there's a reason they never made a musical Hamlet yet. Still, a more Quixote-ish Hamlet musical is I'm sure what Shakespeare was going after. And he is a lot better an author than Cervantes, few things being certain, but thanks be to gradation.

Cervantes made something new, mocking the literature that there was at that time (Cavalleresca) you have to now the context and what they did for the time. Cervantes was much more important to literature than what Shakespeare was

JD Power is a very poor rating administer. And also molests innocent mittens and licks dung from the Sear's Tower too. Jesus, I'm starting to hate this too much. Is there no other palm than my own to pat me out of this game? Well, brothers, sisters, by which I mean, Earth, fend for yourselves, I'll rob thee as I'll love thee, if I love thee, I will. A decidedly brilliant performance for O'toole, and, while definitely miscast, an excellent one by Sophia Loren. Admittedly, this treatment was a jumbled representation of the Novel and the musical, but only an arrogant fool would see it as 'one of the worst films ever'.
