You’ve come a long way since furniture polish brother. Glad you’re living the dream. Take care
Ive been a Vintage Guitar Dealer for over 30 years, so I've had just about everything. I'm retiring due to health reasons and gigging too. I've been selling off many of my keepers, example: 59 L.P. Black Beauty, 58 & 63 Strat, 61 355 and more. Anyhow, I've been buying a few of the low end copies and fixing them up. They turn out amazing. It started a few years ago when I bought a expensive vintage guitar and the guy says, do you want this? It was a gutted L.P. with a broke off neck, no hardware. I thought it was real at first. I repaired the neck put new hardware, pickups, everything! It plays and sounds just as good as anything I've every had. Now I've bought 2 or 3 more. Its not like when we were growing up with our first guitars. These things out if the box aren't bad. I change everything but theyre still not bad as is..
Sorry about the health issues. It does happen. Take care of yourself. Uh, any stratocasters in there for 500?
Thanks, I have 3 Vintage Strats left and I'll probably be keeping them. Nothing in the $500 range.
I enjoy your channel, take care.
Man, you seem like just the coolest dude. I love watching your videos.
Those frets are done, sir. Robert Godin owns Godin, Simon his son runs it, Simon and Patrick are his sons and the name of a Godin acoustic brand as well.
really nice guitar for those that love floyd rose guitars
The whole Godin family of guitars are killer. Acoustics as well.
Godin, they are excellent guitars, they ghost built the Aluminum neck Kramer guitars
My first impression was that the frets had no crown and were very flat, a very nice guitar although I am not a FR fan.
The inexpensive guitars are becoming quite good these days, I remember back in the '80s you couldn't get a good guitar in the UK for under £400 and that's when there were $2 to £1, now its a totally different story in both the money and the quality of the guitars.
I ordered a Gibson LP Custom in 2016 and rejected it twice for terrible quality the third guitar came and it was the totally wrong colour and also had major issues.
I ended up buying an Eastman LP copy, awsome guitar!
It looks like it needs new frets, those are worn down to the finger board... time to get new ones.
The name is Robert Godin
I've seen one exactly the same godin and colour for sale in our local music shop UK good price thou nice guitar 👍👍
I have a new but 20 year old epiphone lp and the thing was stored for 15 year's. It looked almost just like that. They'll clean up. Maybe minor discoloration on some.
I think I heard a guy refer to flat frets like that as "Glass" ... Theres some guys out there that go for the flatter frets.
Beautiful instrument. Are those hot rail pickup? Have a great weekend Dane.
Those frets were toast, now? Good to go dane
