Look no further. You have finally found a perfect match for your woodshop! This lumber rack is not only made from that precious natural resource you love to cut, sand and stain; but it is also one of the cheapest! Drill some holes and BOOM you have the coolest shelving system on the block. Although it can clearly hold my weight, put whatever you want on it; books, jars of buttons, your smooth rock collection. Whatever this rack is holding up, its going to look gorgeous doing it.
Another great mention is that Lowes will cut lumber for you (for free). If you do not have a saw or the means to get an 8' stick of 2x3 home, just let them do the work for you.
This racking system is designed for lumber, and the cost does not include the plywood I had lying around for the shelves. I know, I know. Add $30 to your price tag.

How would you design a closet system that hangs clothes and selfs
I may have missed it somewhere. So you loaded the dowel rod with wood glue and that is the only attachment inside of the hole to keep the dowel in place? I just want to be sure I'm doing it right if I go with this system.
What wood species are the dowel rods?
