As someone who hasnt been que dodging anyone (other people que dodge us) youve probably had the best luck in the update that ive seen yet. Ive been playing with Mihelthewell for the last few days and its actually pretty bad. Its been nearly a ranked bws game about 70 percent of the time and weve been hacked on at a way more regular rate. Not to mention Hypixels pvp system has been plagued with weird glitches. Good for you for getting that high level but man your luck is honestly something else if thats the case
the queues were so good that i didn't understand what the "skill based matchmaking" was at first. turns out the queues aren't "easier" - i just get to fight people that dodge anyone with a 0.01 fkdr or higher
the idea of the update is not bad i agree, but for someone who doesnt have ++ and keeps queuing like 6 sweaty teams in some games and gets targetted by all of them , its just not fun LOL
i played the update when it first came out and i stopped playing because i moved in for school when it first came out a lot of games for me where just FULL of sweats especially in doubles and 4s i don’t find playing sweaty games every game fun im a casual player who can sweat but i usually play late into nights when im barely even focused so that’s my excuse for not really liking the update when it came out ig id like to preface it don’t dodge i don’t like to dodge and i only dodge when my teammates do so yeah whatever update isn’t that bad people who think its the end of the world need to chill

@@tim47637that’s not true. more players are cheating now. out of all the games I played yesterday, I’d say about 50% of games with someone “good” had a closet cheater in it. this update is good in theory as players can’t snipe specific players but going against closet cheaters every game just isn’t fun. Plus at night, queueing take a while so after a bit, anyone just joins your q. you can definitely beat them, but once you get their bed, they just cheat harder so it’s not fun. And I was playing on an account with 80 stars and 1.6 fkdr. A lot of casual players have similar stats so good luck.
3:48 this is a normal occurrence and I'm blaming it on high ping. You put 120% effort into your strafing and trickiness to outmaneuver the enemy. Then, reality settles in. It took so much effort to get even 3 hits in, then they just straight line you like it's nothing because they can. You remember that you're on high ping and you're sad.
people that think its gonna kill the game are dumb but it does suck getting sniped by the same account over and over again while they are just random queuing you. and what can I do? nothing I guess I have to accept it each time
honestly most of the cheaters i queue are people that are spamming the same map, so if i want to avoid them i just switch to maining another map and come back to it later, i've somehow barely had a problem with snipers
people got so many sweats because of sbmm, which has since been removed, returning the queue system to how it used to be (1-8 low queue, 9+ high queue)
well me and my best friend queue evenings, at NA times, and we queued different cheaters back to back several times, its probably way different compared to AU times, ive heard even before queueing at Asia and AU times were better for winstreaking. Me and her have queued at least a few cheaters every queue (im not overexagerating) using blatant 0-100 velo, safe walking and esp and other obvious cheats, i used to grind and have accumulated over 1.2k stars across accounts and ive since, havent grinded in half a year, become a super casual player, jus fucking around and having fun with my 1 friend whom i still play with. The games arent that fun anymore and way less enjoyable, not because people are "better", cause again i used to grind and i nofolded to 900 stars on my main, but i was good at telling who was cheating and who wasnt. Theres definitely an increase in cheaters, maybe not a huge one but its more noticable compared to before. The update in hindsight isnt terrible but hypixel should have at least released an anticheat update before dropping this update. i dont enjoy the game anymore as a casual player, its more annoying and frustrating for us to play and thats even while having nofolded in the past. I doubt ill stop playing either way as me and my bestie have played on and off for years, but its definitely way less enjoyable and very much incorrect that there is less cheaters and easier queues.
alr 2 things: this update has made bedwars so enjoyable. played 20 straight games in a row and didn't have 1 bad game. second thing, the sniper talk is so fucking exaggerated its insane, esp bc bedwars snipers are consistantly worse bhoppers than bhoppers in any other game like blitz, UHC, megawalls, etc... and even if you do queue a hopper, you realize you dont have to stay in the queue right? /l, and sit in lobby for like 30 seconds and queue a different map. you aren't forced to stay in the same queue if you can't see their names.
I understand hahaha. Though there is some fun queuing against players who can barely open the shop, there's a separate fun and thrill when fighting more experienced, smarter players which, in my opinion, everyone should want.
When the update rolled out, I heard many bad things from a lot of peoples' opinions. Then I queud into a game and it felt like literally the same thing, maybe a bit more sweats since they can't dodge good people anymore but I think I can speak for the most people in that, this probably won't affect you all that much and you probably shouldn't freak out over this. It's very good to hear though that better players like Josewald and even Dewier seem like they're having a better time. This update is probably only affecting a small number of people. For the average joe, they won't notice it. For sweaty tryhards, they'll get more fair queues which I think is a good thing since that's more fun. Having three brackets seems a bit silly but I understand the thought process of it somewhat and as long as there nothing bad happens because of it, it's probably fine. What can I say though, I barely play anymore lol

see, i have mixed feelings. my account recently got hacked, so i bought a new one to play with while i work to get it back. on the new account, since i cant see igns, there are rogue cheaters in literally every other game, it's insane. it's gotten to the point where after my first rush (maining solos) i go mid and run a lap to see if i recognize any scaffold bridges. again, since we can't see igns anymore i can't dodge them, so its basically forcing me to fight (terrible and clueless, yes) bhoppers every other game
(I’m 1,510 stars) I have to disagree with you. There are some days or sessions where yes I do get a small win streak of 20-40, but then there are other days where I’m either 1) queuing and requeuing cheaters bc I can’t dodge, 2) queuing sweats that ONLY 4v2 or 6v2 my team which makes the games absolutely unplayable. Can’t clutch against 6 12-20fkdr sweats all going for just my little team of 2. Plus I’ve legit been sitting in lobby one and seen people saying “1/2 sniping” and then when I que a game 15min later I’m in that person’s game and they’re just blatantly cheating. So it does really REALLY depend on the day and how lucky I’m getting with queues. I’m not losing 2v2s or even a good number of 4v2s (which ask any person I play with regularly and they’ll say we’re always getting 4v2ed), but 6v2s off spawn and cheaters are the real problem. For my 1500 star prestige game I queued a 1k star closet cheater EDATERMICW that I COULDNT DODGE and we had a nice little 40 minute sweat fest where my team THANKFULLY clutched up but it WOUDLA BEEN NICE TO DODGE THAT🤓😂

i qed on my alt with friends for 4s (wasnt a sweaty party, 2 of my friends basically didnt kno how to play the game except protect the bed and click at the enemy bed) and even tho my alt is like 9-10 stars, i was q ing like ppl with 10k+ finals and like sweaty ass lobbies when im tryna hav some fun with my friends. i had like 1 game where we actually had some fun (we lost but it was funny) and even then there was this 1 team who had like a 700 star on their team. honestly, i think a better update would hav been to make a rbw gamemode with no q dodging. it would give sweats a reason to grind the game while newer players or casual ones can play the game regularly and hav some fun with friends. mayb it was just my luck but watching ur qs makes me think i musta wronged hypixel in some way lol

tldr: 150 ws in bw was never hard and never will be friends of mine lost multiple almost 2ks in bridge due to hoppers since the update (had been months from a loss prior to that)

if anyone would try to snipe you you'd lose ur ws in a day, the point is that no one is trying to snipe you. even 200 ws is not snipe worthy for most snipers
the update is good for ppl who dont dodge as they will get a lot less snipers the update is bad for ppl who dodge as they just cant dodge anymore for snipers the update is both good and bad, you can get snipes a lot easier, but it take longer to find someone to snipe
Yeahhh the update is alright it’s just I can’t play with any of my high star parties cause every god dam game their are cheaters. We could have gotten unlucky but when 7/15 games had teams of competent cheaters. It just really annoying not being able to dodge cheaters, otherwise I don’t really care about most of the changes.

sweaty games occur more commonly on certain timezones so it could be your timezone which makes your games a bit less sweaty. Still, losing and complaining is skill issue ngl
Man the Bedwars community sounds so pathetic, I used to play Bedwars back around when it first came out in 2021-2022 but had stopped playing after just growing out of the game, though I do remember having a fun time with it. you mean to tell me nowadays its just filled with players sniping and dodging queues just to stat boost? I'm a duels main and it has been a lot better imo. I really like the update. Seems like there's way more chill players and way more better players in queue and I've been seeing some old players been coming back and playing

Man the Bedwars community sounds so pathetic, I used to play Bedwars back around when it first came out in 2021-2022 but had stopped playing after just growing out of the game, though I do remember having a fun time with it. you mean to tell me nowadays its just filled with players sniping and dodging queues just to stat boost? That sounds so incredibly boring

update is annoying for dodging hackers/snipers, but if they cant snipe they wont play. BUT, you are literally #1 aussie player AND 2700 star.... saying "just get good" isnt really the point. im neutral on the update. however it is bad for duels (watch skystevesparrow video on trying to get a 10 win streak)
If you can’t get a 10 ws in hypixel sumo duels that is a skill issue

I'm a duels main and it has been a lot better imo. I really like the update. Seems like there's way more chill players and way more better players in queue and I've been seeing some old players been coming back and playing
