It is actually better to add the water first then the plaster and allow to the plaster to soak up the water. Less mixing and no lumps.

1 cup water to 2 1/2 cups powder is about right. That'll make about 1/2 of a pan full of mud.

How do you keep your knives and mixers from rusting? Thanks

wkeil1981 I wipe the blades clean with a damp rag and then a dry one immediately after!

wkeil1981 I wash it immediately after use, air dry with compressor if you have one. Then spray it with WD-40 then wipe clean with a few sheets of bounty paper towel. I’ve never had an issue with rust.
