I have been obsessed since I got your ebook on Hand Salads raw vegan wraps. I just follow the directions to the letter and they turn out great! Each day, I look forward to the next batch. I'm having fun with the endless combinations of wraps, sauces and fillings. I don't think I'll ever tire of making them. Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such an awesome book!
@@michelledobrowski8488 Why not Michelle, go change them if you can. Get a wrap that is edge to edge in an Excalibur size dehydrator. I was so tempted to buy 6 12x12s trays as they were so much cheaper. And I am glad that I resisted. I bought 6 14x14 and I’m good. No need to shop for them again for a long time. Happy wrap making. How can I get these recipes if my printer isn’t working at the moment? I did have these printed out a while back and I found them but I only see how they are made, not all the ingredients. Can you help?
I bought the ebook and my first wraps are in the dehydrator. They smell amazing. You put so much work into the ebook. I hope you publish it, I would love a hard copy.🌻🍅
I'd rather see them do one with TannyRaw who is still authentic raw and also has her own versions of wraps and does not go in for vegan products with additives like Markus' products now sadly have.
I hope not. I used to be a fan of Markus also, a lot of his videos are very well done, but he has also spread a lot of misinformation about health and raw food. I no longer recommend his channel to anyone.
I know you've already done several wrap videos ( 💗thank you! 💗) ... maybe I just can't get enough, but I would love to see more footage of the Hand Salads. Anybody else on board?
Lissa, I can't say enough about this book specifically, and your recipes in general. I just made a wrap for my flexitarian sister, and she LOVED it. She could not believe it wasn't some kind of grain. You knocked it out of the park with this one. Thank you!
I have been putting it off for so long, but I just bought your Hand Salads E book. I've been looking through it, and everything looks so clear and easy, thank you! It is well worth the money, and I am so excited to bring some wraps with me when I travel to Maine next week!
Thank you for this. I’ve gone down the wrap rabbit hole. Waiting for my Amazon order to arrive with my trays. Fortunately I’m already an Excalibur owner. 2nd generation. Thank you mom!
Oh wow what a wonderful gift to pass down! My grandmother had a dehydrator in the 60s and my mom got hers too so I’m like you it’s been in the family!! Hope you enjoy and have fun making them!
My birthday is Friday Nov 3rd and my daughter asked what I wanted and I said your wrap book. Im 2 days away from getting it and I am so excited I can't hardly stand it!!!!!!!!
As to swaping ingredients, i used regular onion instead of sweet onion, just because we don't have sweet onion in my country... Wraps are a liiiitle bitter because of onion. I think if we had sweet onion it would turned out better, but i dont know. I srill love them.
I think it also depends on people’s tastes and gut bacteria - I don’t find regular onion bitter but I also eat a lot of bitter greens and foods so I’m used to it but I can definitely see how some would. Other names for sweet onion is Walla Walla, Vidalia and Maui - perhaps those are options?! I’m glad you enjoy them still they are so great!!! 😀
just got the ebook and silicone trays, can't wait to try these! I keep falling off raw food because nothing has been super exciting for me, and every time I try zoodles it's yucky to me for some reason. Hoping this helps me get excited about raw food again!
Woo Hoo! These wraps are game changers!!!!!! LOVE them!!!!! Great idea to weigh everything as you have very large onions haha! Great tip about how the onions change once blended and dehydrated....I was a bit concerned about the quantity of onion but have had no problems with them in the wraps. I really needed these wraps in my life, a big thank you for all your efforts in creating them Lissa. I've tried a few recipes so far and looking forward to trying more. Blessings. :)
Hello Lissa I enjoyed your Video today! I need to cook my vegetables because I have sensitive gums and chewing too long shifts my teeth and I always bite my tongue. This way I can enjoy my vegetables! Please have a Good Day!
I find I have to leave my wraps in for more than 18 hours. I got the Sedona Combo dehydrator and had to get smaller molds than what is used in the Excalibur, so I end up getting 3 wraps out of each recipe (not 2) and though they are a bit smaller than the wraps done in the Excalibur, they are plenty big enough to stuff and enjoy! I love them and can't get enough of them. I prefer eating my salad in a wrap because you get a taste of everything with each bite. Also, I went through an entire large bag of sweet onions and they are not cheap here in Canada so I did end up using some yellow onions in with the sweet and it turned out very good! I'm in love, LOL!!
Oooo great idea to combine sweet and regular! I’ve heard people using shallots too combined. So glad you love them! As for dehydration time it’s so good that you’re getting to know your dehydrator too. It’s so different for each one and location. Plus if you have more trays in the dehydrator and it’s a smaller space, there’s more moisture inside so it will certainly take a little more time but it’s good you know do you can plan and enjoy more! Much love!! So happy you’re enjoying them. Wraps are such a great way to eat salads haha!
Are you using the 12"x10" trays? I have the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro w dehydrator and that is the size I need. So if that is the size you use then I would need 3 trays per recipe.?? Thanks.
@@sharondubose9510 I was using larger molds than 12 X 10 but I ended up sending them back to Amazon because everything stuck like crazy on them. I'm using flat Silpat type sheets and making round wraps and they are turning out perfectly and I'm getting at least 3 wraps per recipe. The stainless steel trays that came with my dehydrator are 15.5 X 13 so I try to get non-stick sheets as close to that size as possible. So if you need 12 X 10 trays, I'm guessing you would get at least 3 wraps per recipe. I hope you have great success!
@@cosudu3002 I ordered six 12" x 10.6" trays tonight to try in the Breville. I'm thinking based upon your info I will use 3 per recipe but might be 4. Hopefully, the Breville will work. Thank you for the info!
Hey Lissa! I just finished listening to your interview on the Raw Food Summit, and wanted to thank you for so much helpful information! I have been moving towards going raw for several years now, (I went vegetarian seven years ago and fully vegan three years ago, consuming mostly whole plant foods) and so much of what you said addressed many of the issues I’ve had! I wondered if you could share a link for the gut microbiome testing you mentioned? I’d really like to have that done. I think it might illuminate some of my dietary deficiencies. I would’ve messaged you on Instagram but I deleted all Zuckerberg owned media three years ago. 😅 Thank you in advance!
Aww not to worry I’m so glad you enjoyed the talk! I love doing the summits so much! The gut testing we like is www.OmbreLab.com but there’s also Viome and Biomesight depending on where you live ❤️❤️
Very impressed with your knowledge & experience. Just curious, what's your background? I've just found you online and can't get enough of your information. You're quite impressive!
Thank you so very much!! I have been in the natural health industry (health stores, supplements, nutritional consulting, etc) since 2001 and I have been studying health, remedies and nutrition near daily since then. I have also been following a raw food diet and been a vegan since 2014 and continually learning from medical professionals, reading countless studies and expanding my knowledge deeply. I’m very happy you are enjoying my videos! 🥰🥰
Excited to give raw food wraps a try! The link to the silicone wrap wrap trays is out of stock. Can you recommend an alternative? I’m buying a 9 tray Excalibur. Thank you for your amazing channel!
I don’t have another link sadly but Amazon usually recommends other options! They are really almost all super similar, poke around and see if there are others. I did find this one but when you search there are LOTS of different options: amzn.to/3J1Wu4D
I have a question but first I want to say thank you for your amazing wrap recipes! I bought the 9 tray Excalibur Dehydrator and the recommended trays and they work beautifully together. I've made the Honey I Love Mustard wrap twice and I currently have in the dehydrator the Sweet Ginger Rainbow Wrap and the Everything But the Bagel Wrap!! My question is about the amounts listed in grams in the recipes. Is the weight in grams before peeling and trimming or afterwards (ex. bell peppers, dates, onions, apples?) I weighed everything after being trimmed and I think it didn't matter too much except for the onion as I think I had more onion than you intended. Thank you for the e-book. My husband loves them and is asking me to make them regularly.
Yes!! You did great! Always weight the amount that goes into the blender, not before chopping because you’ll lose a lot of weight through discarded pieces. Chop first, then weigh ❤️
I downloaded the hand salad wrap ebook! Now I can’t find it! And what would be the best dehydrator for me? I’m 80, live alone, so don’t need a big expensive one! Thank you!
Hmmmm i dont know what device you’re using to download so I don’t know where you selected to download it. You can download it again from the email. Search your device in the downloads folder, usually it’s there. Also, Excalibur 5 or 9 tray would be the best imo ❤️❤️
Hi Lissa ! ❤❤❤PlainOlHottie Here 😊 I finally was able to buy the ebook ! I have my trays and my dehydrator so I’m all set to start trying the wraps. I need to get psyllium husk and dates .. Where do you buy your psyllium husk? Thank you ! ❤
Had to comment again, I AM SO EXCITED to get STARTED with THESE 🎉🎉 filling party at my house -in 2wks when kids are done with school 😉 j/k But that would be fun😂😊
Got your ebook darling yesterday night, so happy with it! Although I do make (successfully) wraps for a long time, this one is such a inspiration and welcoming creative boost. Love it so much!
Hi Lissa! I am still having trouble with these wraps, i followed the recipes to a T and they still seemed very thin to me ( i didnt have a high speed blender just got one ) also another thing i store them in them dehydrator for about 6 hours after i made them and went to wrap them and they were so hard they broke. Also are all of the dates neccasary? I know you say the sugar is however i find every wrap taste sweet instead of savory. Thanks in advance idk why im having so much trouble with these wraps!
Have you tried different recipes? I’m super curious why this is happening to you. Are you for sure WEIGHING every ingredient to the weights suggested? And yes the dates are essential to the pliability. Some have more, some have less, so read each wrap recipe to see if there’s one you may like more. I personally don’t find them sweet as we fill them with so much savory I don’t notice at all. If you leave the dates out, they get hard and not very pliable. You could try other dried fruit like apricot or fig though - same weight as the dates. If they are too hard after dehydration, I’d sugggest checking the temperature because if it’s higher than 115F, they get really hard after they are done. Also, if you leave them on the tray, turn on the dehydrator for 15 minutes before wrapping to warm and soften slightly. You should still be able to roll them if they are proper thickness. I also suggest for those with sensitive jaws to fill harder wraps left after dehydrating and store in the fridge for a few hours or next day. The moisture in the fillings really softens the wrap further. If the wraps are too thin, I really question if you are weighing the ingredients out because I always get the proper amount when I made them. I address a lot of these questions already in the FAQ section of the eBook 🥰
@@RawFoodRomance yes i have weighed out every item. I cant understand why im having trouble either. I haven’t tried it since i got my vitamix so i will. But, yes i did turn it in 15 minutes before like the video suggested and it was pliable but then as i was done filling it and started folding it and it cracked from being dry again. I feel like an idiot because i see everyone else in comments saying they dont have issues and i cant get them right, i’ve only made one good wrap and i didnt even measure the ingredients properly that time and that was my first time. Every other time has failed after that.
@@HayleysHaus I’m super confused…. The wraps can be a little dry sometimes if over dried but I’ve found those ones soften up nicely after wrapping and letting them sit for a few hours. Maybe try the Everything Bagel one, that one always seems to turn out best for beginners. Just don’t over dry it but also make sure it’s done and not soft.
I just bought the eBook, and I just finished watching this Q&A session. About the psyllium. I have both the powder and the whole. The whole psyllium husks are more like flakes. Can I use these two interchangeably. If I run out of the powder, can I use the flakes? Thank you. Look forward to giving these a try.
Heya! I wouldn’t use interchangeably because the flakes are more lighter than the powder. If you run out of powder though you can grind the flakes into a powder. It’s important to have enough of the specific one to get the best results ❤️ hope you enjoy!!!!
I’ve been raw only for about 2 months now. But I’ve been plant based for years now. My digestion has been fantastic on raw, until I started eating the wraps. It’s been 3 weeks now, and they actually seem to be bothering me more now than at the beginning?? Last couple days my stomach rumbles almost constantly (and not a hungry kind of rumbling), but clearly upset. Did you go through this? I’m not in pain or anything but it is bothering me. My birthday is in two days, and I don’t want to feel this way then. I’m thinking maybe I should quit the wraps for good, which is so sad because I love them!! They’re helping me stay raw. Any advice?
Heya!! So psyllium does feed good bacteria and if you’re growing your gut, this can be rumbly for some people. It’s not a bad thing in my opinion, it’s actually good as you’re growing gut bacteria as it’s a very high soluble fiber prebiotic. What I would recommend is a few options: Chew more thoroughly. The wraps are really easy to wolf down faster than a salad so slow down on the chewing. Chewing is the first step in digestion so if you aren’t chewing everything thoroughly, it could be causing upset. Eat only half a wrap with a salad. If your bacteria needs a couple weeks to adjust to the daily new high fiber, try only eating half a wrap for a bit but have it with a salad to compensate as an entire wrap may be too much fiber for you at this time. Drink more water through the day. Psyllium husk soaks up a lot of water and toxins in the body so to help it along, it’s suggested that you remain as hydrated as you can. Drinking extra one the days you have wraps. I wouldn’t give up on them!!! Just gotta work with your gut instead of bombarding it with a little too much. Sometimes going raw is a big step for many peoples digestion so taking it a little slower can be helpful. Also notice which wraps may cause more issues than others cuz one of the wraps has sunchokes for example (microbiome party wrap) and it’s named so because of the higher inulin content can cause a little party in the gut as it grows the bacteria. Onion is also high in inulin and feeds good bacteria so it may just be that. Hope that helps!!
@@RawFoodRomance thank you so much!!! Yes I think actually the onion based wraps maybe causing more issue. And I’m probably not chewing enough.. I drink a gallon of water+ a day so we’re good there but I did notice as soon as I started eating the wraps, it’s balancing out the water! I actually need it. Thanks so much for the tips. I will report back here to hopefully help others who might be experiencing the same thing!
Awww hopefully those help!! I do find i drink 1-2 cups extra on wrap days so that’s nice! And yes. Slow down and really thoroughly enjoy them!! ❤️❤️🩷❤️🩷
@@onelazycat3183 it is because it’s soluble fiber and 97% of people don’t even meet their daily needs for fiber every day, so it’s something they take to compensate. It’s a great fiber to also build the microbiome! Very powerful
Hello Melissa question do you have a community for us people that have purchased your book were we could see step by step how you see the hand salads ? Am more of seeing and fallowing with my book that would be a big help 😩
No we don’t have a community yet but I just posted a UA-cam of my blending, pouting and spreading the blue wraps yesterday here on UA-cam and if you buy the bundle, you get access to ALIVE LUNCH and we show how we make 2 different wraps on video in there. There’s over 35 hours of videos from us in there - but the sale ends March 10 2024 bit.ly/TheVeganHealthBundle
Sure will! It’s coming to Amazon in mid-late fall. It’s a massive project to reformat for print and go through the proofing process so it’s taking time and will be expensive to print but it’s coming!
I saw that when you prepared for your long camping trip you were putting your final wrapped sandwiches in green containers to take on your trip. What containers are you using to help keep those sandwiches fresh?
These were just old date containers that we have just been reusing for the last 5 years. You can use any container really it’s just to hold them safe. Just don’t seal them or they can collect unnecessary moisture and bake them soggy over days. ❤️❤️
@@RawFoodRomance Thank you so much! I know these hand salad wraps will soon be a loved kitchen staple for me and will want to keep the book version on my counter for easy access. Yes, and because I prefer paper books to ebooks always😊. You are the best💐😉
On the Creation portion of the Mushroom BLT Spicy Wrap, it says to crush the oregano, basil and chives on top of the wrap before putting it into the dehydrator. They are not listed on the Ingredient list. How much of each? And I'm assuming they are all dried? Thanks.
Oh yes! You can sprinkle as much or as little as you like! If I had to guess it might end up being a tsp of each? Just sprinkle however much you like on top of the wrap before putting it into the dehydrator. It’s more just for decoration. ❤️❤️❤️ enjoy!! 🤩
It might be a little more bitter if you use red or yellow onion but yes you can! You could also do half the weight red onion and half the weight zucchini and see how you like that

Darn, I did it again! I just made your mushroom fajita wrap, and I forgot to grind the chia seeds. They are in the dehydrator now, but if it should ever happen again, can I double the amount of psyllium? I did not have any issues with any of the other wraps I made. Thanks!
Awwww it might be okay but the chia gives it more pliability. Too much psyllium can cause digestive upset, it’s best to not add too much more if you can avoid that. What I like to do is before chopping and adding anything to the blender? I put the psyllium and ground chia/flax in it’s own little bowl so I have it ready for the final 3 seconds blend. That way I don’t forget it ❤️
Sure! It might be slightly chunkier if it’s not high speed but why not!!! I’m sure it’ll work. You just need a big jug… not the little 2 cup sized ones. It makes way more than that. At least 2 litres or more of wrap “batter” so you need a bug enough jug for it
Can I make the wrap mixture ahead and keep it in the fridge for a couple of days and if I want to freeze the mixture to use at a later time do you think this would be okay? Not sure if you answered this ? Thanks
Hmmmm i wouldn’t. I think you should use it fresh always. I’m sure it might be ok ??? but the psyllium and chia or flax gel up way too much which can affect the final outcome. The mix only takes 12 mins for me to blend up, I’ve never blended in advance because I like things fresh and once blended, things oxidize over time and lose nutrition so I wouldn’t do that, if just get them into the dehydrator after blending ❤️
I have the older Excalibur 5 tray w timer (not digital) however the machine is old so it’s on the but louder side. Is there a recommendation for a quieter unit? How about the Cosori one?
The Consori and Sedona are both smaller dehydrators so you’d need to get the 10x12 trays for them. Also I’ve heard smaller dehydrators can sometimes take longer, depending on who I’ve spoken to. I’ve never used either so I don’t know, sadly. Our Excalibur 9 tray dehydrators are almost 10 years old each and are used very often, haven’t had an issue with them. Plus I’m personally not very sound sensitive, sounds and background noises don’t bother me so it’s hard to suggest anything. I’ve heard Samson has a quite one but unsure of cost. Hope that helps a little ❤️
We make square ones because they are easier to spread, we have the trays for square AND you can fit way more into square wraps. They are also much easier to roll up and things don’t fall out the ends as easily as round. You could share them round but the extra corners make a massive difference. I don’t prefer round anymore at all, square is where it’s at for us!!
Hello from Vancouver Island Canada. Learning so much sensible and practical infornation from you and Nate. Question: Approx 200.00 price difference between the 9 tray with timer than without. In the long term would you suggest spending the extra to get the one like you have with the timer? Thanks🙂
Oh wow there’s really that much of a price difference?!?! When I was in Canada I bought mine and I got the 9 tray Excalibur model 3926TB. I like the timer, it helps for shorter dehydration or if you need it to turn off overnight. Otherwise making sure you’re home to turn it off is needed ❤️ So glad you’re enjoying my content!! Sending you love!!
I have a few printed books on Amazon you can find in my Amazon storefront here: www.amazon.com/shop/rawfoodromance but the wrap book isn’t in print yet… hoping for late fall maybe?!
@@sn232 sadly no I do t have a date yet I’m still in reformatting stage. I also need it edited again and I have to build the cover and then go through the proofing process which can take 1-4 weeks depending on any issues etc. I wish I had a better idea of a release date but I don’t know right now. If I had to guess maybe November but that might be too close I have way too much work to do on it still 😳
Aloha I’m actually needing to know where I can find how much room I need to download the bundle? I’m so technologically challenged. Need to get a flash drive to store it on and don’t know how many GB it needs to be? Love you both from Hawaii ❣️🙏🌺
You can try, I prefer to just leave them in the silicone trays on the counter after fully drying, until ready to use (we’ve had them last about 2 weeks) although they are always best fresh. Freezing risks sogginess during thawing and unless you have a flat surface to place them, they risk cracking. That said, you can always try, we just don’t freeze over here
Your comment about eating an onion like an Apple made me think of my Grand Father. He would eat onions with a little salt on them like an onion. Of course, he also loved Limburger Cheese so... 🙂
@@RawFoodRomance I am glad I bought 5 sets of the trays for the wraps when you first mentioned them. They have gone up $10 since I bought them. Still worth it, but nearly $22 is getting steep. Clearly supply and demand.

2 Questions: If you need to make corrections to your Hand Salads book (f there is a typo / error that you need to correct in the recipes), will everyone that bought the Hand Salads ebook pef get an automatic updated pdf emailed to them at no additional charge? I have had this happen with other recipe ebooks elsewhere, so I thought I'd ask before buying. There were 3 people that mentioned in comments in another video that the Green Goddess Wrap not filling 2 trays using the gram measurements, that made me wonder how you handle that? Also how many times can I download because I would love to have this on my phone, and computers in 2 separate locations? Thank you :)
Heya! Thank you!! Yes the green goddess one isn’t supposed to fill the trays to the top. If it did, they’d be way too chewy and tough. I made each recipe meticulously and each recipe provides a slightly different volume for a specific reason, not all fill the trays super perfectly and that’s ok as long as it’s split between both trays it’s fine how it is. Grams are perfect, I’ve made that one many times and tested different versions, the one in the book is perfect. I will add this as a note in the beginning pages so readers are aware that not all wraps are meant to fill the trays right to the brim. Also, You can download I think up to 7 or 10 times, you can certainly download onto many devices. I do recommend just downloading one and putting it in your Google drive cuz you can access drive from any of your devices plus it acts as backup in case you lose it. I also just fixed a few typos and am working on a few edits and I don’t have a way of updating every single person who has purchased but I do swap the old one out when I make revisions and it can be re-downloaded anytime. It’s just me and it’s hard to have everything perfect, but such is real and authentic, we do our best ❤️ Any tech issues, you can just email me, I’m pretty chill to help when I can ❤️

Most welcome! I changed it to 2 tsp miso cuz I made it the other day and thought to use that instead and it was even fluffier! I think the koji bacteria in the already fermented miso plus the acidophilus made an even better cheese! Perfect flavor! Enjoy!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I noticed the dehydrator, Excalibur you recommended is almost $300 on Amazon. Do you have a coupon code? Or if I go cheaper most likely means the trays will be smaller and the recipe for the wrap may taste different.
Aww yeah if you’re gonna get one it’s worth the investment to get the big one, in my opinion! I don’t have a code but sometimes Excalibur or Amazon runs specials sometimes.
@@RawFoodRomance You know what I was thinking though? I want to keep the same diameter which I believe you said is like 14". Also, its only me, so even a 4 tray will be sufficient. Thanks

Nope! I’ll drink a juice randomly a few times a year if someone makes me one (like John Kohler) but it’s not part of our life. We prefer the whole food personally ❤️❤️❤️
🫣🫣🫣 but meat and eggs don’t?!?! Yikes!!!! I’ve seen some pretty scary videos of the worms in dead pieces of flesh……. Ewww. Yeah that’s a load of misinformation! It’s sad people scare others away from vegetables. I have been eating only raw food for almost 9 years and I’ve never been sick from my food and my gut testing is better than anyone I’ve ever met personally who has tested. I have no worries 👍 just wash it well if you are concerned.
It’s made mostly with onion and thousands of people love those, it’s our fave wrap but we also love onion. Perhaps try other wraps in the book. I purposefully made multiple flavors for different options 4 of the wraps have no onion, Green Goddess, Kale Pesto, Spicy BBQ Coleslaw and Greek Lemon - maybe try those… they aren’t the same re tire as onion is a very unique fiber for these, that’s why I use it a lot. Plus it’s an incredible anti cancer food and prebiotic for the microbiome 🥰👍
I wished you had at least one recipe where people can see how good it is. I have other UA-cam chefs that share their recipes that I know are good. Knowing they are good I didn't mind buying their cookbook. Imagine spending on a cookbook and every recipe taste awful. I'd be wanting a refund. Plus you make plenty money from UA-cam views.
I have over 60 recipes in my recipe playlist so I do share many recipes, just not the wraps at this time. UA-cam view $ is super low - it’s actually not as high as people think it is. Maybe a newly posted video makes me $2 in a month, if that and after that I make only pennies or nothing. My monthly income from UA-cam covers just maybe our car payment OR some of our groceries and that’s it.. Very hard to live off that and still pay for rent, food, gas, insurance, life…. The wrap recipes right now, however, are exclusive to those who are supporting my work, time and creativity that I put into it. There are no refunds on my digital products either, clearly stated on my website. That said, I may release some free ones in the future (right now I’m working with Dr Greger’s team to have one on their website nutritionfacts.org) but for right now, they are only in that ebook and thousands of people are already completely loving them - including Dr. Greger!! 🩷 Also, this is how I make a living so the only way I can continue to create, coach, answer, help people hours and hours every day for free, and film/edit UA-cam’s is to sell my ebooks and bundles. Side note: The wrap ebook will be in a massive bundle coming March 1-10 if you were interested in other vegan things too - just sharing another way to get it.
I’d love to try these but I have to buy everything and what happens if I don’t like them. At least 200 for the machine, 20 for trays, 35 for the recipes. It’s a hard sell.

I would love to see you and Nate do a video with Markus and Cara
Maybe one day!

Lissa, I can't say enough about this book specifically, and your recipes in general. I just made a wrap for my flexitarian sister, and she LOVED it. She could not believe it wasn't some kind of grain. You knocked it out of the park with this one. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing that!! I’m so happy it was enjoyed!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have been putting it off for so long, but I just bought your Hand Salads E book. I've been looking through it, and everything looks so clear and easy, thank you! It is well worth the money, and I am so excited to bring some wraps with me when I travel to Maine next week!
Oooooooo yay! I really hope you enjoy them as much as we do! Have a safe and wonderful trip!!
I cannot wait for the dehydrator to get here!!! 💗
So much fun!!!!
My birthday is Friday Nov 3rd and my daughter asked what I wanted and I said your wrap book. Im 2 days away from getting it and I am so excited I can't hardly stand it!!!!!!!!
Awwwww!! Happy birthday!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh, dang! I just bought the hand salads ebook this morning. Wish I had watched this video sooner for the promo code.
@@RawFoodRomance thank you, I just found Vidalia online in my language. I'm hoping I can find it in my city, thank you!
just got the ebook and silicone trays, can't wait to try these! I keep falling off raw food because nothing has been super exciting for me, and every time I try zoodles it's yucky to me for some reason. Hoping this helps me get excited about raw food again!
Awww I hope these excite you!! ❤️❤️❤️

At least you’re enjoying them! 🙌💥
I bake my vegetables! Thank You so much! Great Job!

@@RawFoodRomance thanks! Yes. I found a similar one. I bought the Excalibur and 2 of your e books. Can’t wait to give this a try!

@@RawFoodRomance have all your recipe books! that tells everything ;)
You’re so sweet! I’m honoured you love them so much ❤️
@@RawFoodRomance i will try and let you know, thank you for always responding!

What I would recommend is a few options:
Chew more thoroughly.
Psyllium is widely used as a laxative in Asia, Europe, and North America.
@@onelazycat3183 it is because it’s soluble fiber and 97% of people don’t even meet their daily needs for fiber every day, so it’s something they take to compensate. It’s a great fiber to also build the microbiome! Very powerful

Will you ever publish a paper recipe book of your hand salads?
Hello Lissa, I purchased the burger book and I didn’t know I can have a 40% reduction. Wath can I do to receive it?

On the Creation portion of the Mushroom BLT Spicy Wrap, it says to crush the oregano, basil and chives on top of the wrap before putting it into the dehydrator. They are not listed on the Ingredient list. How much of each? And I'm assuming they are all dried? Thanks.
Oh yes! You can sprinkle as much or as little as you like! If I had to guess it might end up being a tsp of each? Just sprinkle however much you like on top of the wrap before putting it into the dehydrator. It’s more just for decoration. ❤️❤️❤️ enjoy!! 🤩
Hey Lissa, what about swapping red/purple onion instead of the sweet onion? If the weight's the same..?
It might be a little more bitter if you use red or yellow onion but yes you can! You could also do half the weight red onion and half the weight zucchini and see how you like that

ok, great idea, thanks!@@RawFoodRomance
That way I don’t forget it ❤️
Can I use the Nutritionbullet blender to make the wraps?
Hope that helps a little ❤️
Thank you so much!

I have a question: in a strict raw food diet is it ok to consume tahini and nuts butter?
I saw some round wraps. How do you get them so perfectly round?
Otherwise making sure you’re home to turn it off is needed ❤️

Hey Lissa, can wraps be frozen?
You can try, I prefer to just leave them in the silicone trays on the counter after fully drying, until ready to use (we’ve had them last about 2 weeks) although they are always best fresh. Freezing risks sogginess during thawing and unless you have a flat surface to place them, they risk cracking. That said, you can always try, we just don’t freeze over here

Wish i had more space in my kitchen! It's tiny.
Thanks
If you do go smaller, get the 5 tray then. The 4 tray is even smaller and doesn’t fit the 14x14
I have the 5 tray and basically just use it for me. Its perfect!
Do you have a real cookbook instead
I have many real paper ones on Amazon but the Hand Salads ebook is not currently in print… yet… I’m hoping mid/late fall. It’s a massive project to reformat for print! Find my other print books in my Amazon storefront Amazon.com/shop/rawfoodromance
off topic but do u juice at all?
Nope! I’ll drink a juice randomly a few times a year if someone makes me one (like John Kohler) but it’s not part of our life. We prefer the whole food personally ❤️❤️❤️
@@RawFoodRomance ty for ur reply 🥰
I was watching a woman say not to eat vegetables raw because they have parasites like tapeworms I’m very worried about raw food?
🫣🫣🫣 but meat and eggs don’t?!?! Yikes!!!! I’ve seen some pretty scary videos of the worms in dead pieces of flesh……. Ewww. Yeah that’s a load of misinformation! It’s sad people scare others away from vegetables. I have been eating only raw food for almost 9 years and I’ve never been sick from my food and my gut testing is better than anyone I’ve ever met personally who has tested. I have no worries 👍 just wash it well if you are concerned.
Tape worms? In vegetables? That’s complete nonsense.
Wash your produce to get rid of possible traces of feces, that’s all you need to worry about.
Yum!
❤❤❤
I made the everything bagel wrap, it taste like nothing but onion, left a bad taste in my mouth
