My pick is ETS2 because there are so many different languages, and traffic rules, and culture and road setups, and border crossing.
Even i'm make a videos of ets2 more than ats !

I swear. Every freaking time when I am closed to the traffic lights, they turn red.
Its stupid 😂 or when ur casually driving 80 in an 80 zone then there’s suddenly a 50 zone that lasts for like 100 meters, no time to react. And the cops immediately fine you for speeding, and before you know it you’re back in an 80 zone

@The American Trucker No bro !
Both games are pretty similar and both have a lot of beautiful scenery to look at. It really comes down to what driving style and what type of trucks you prefer. European roads are narrow, twisty, and a bit more difficult to navigate but the trucks are also more nimble and able to handle it. Driving rules in Europe are also different and one thing that drives me nuts in ATS is getting stuck at red lights all the time. We need more roundabouts, dang it.
Yes That's even a correct ! But my opinion is Just for Trucks i mean i like american trucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Europe also has the yellow+red before the green, so you can get your truck started right then without a traffic violation.
No, ets has boring view
I think ETS2 is the best if you want to drive European trucks in Europe, and ATS is the best if you want to drive American trucks in America. I could be wrong, though.
That pretty much sums it up.
Theirs no way your wrong
Nah, american trucks in europe
You'll get arrested before shipping the truck to Europe Xd

"ETS2 vs ATS : Which is Best ?" Since they have exactly same system, and even same version number, only difference is map region and trucks, so this question is more like "Europe vs US: which do you like?"
Yes You said Correctly :) it's just for fun !!!!! Thanks for watching........
@MultiFlexs me too
Yes US
I like ATS more, because I think it looks better. I don't like in ETS2 that you usually can't see far, often you just drive and next to road is a ground blocking view. And also in ETS2 is almost everywhere those barriers close to road and you almost everywhere can drive max only 80km/h. In ATS I can drive faster, great view far and also I like how you drive in desert and then in forest with huge trees. And I always liked American trucks, they look more powerful, I like to them, their long nose with huge roaring engine. I don't like in ETS2 the first trucks added to game, they look boring and ugly, especially interior and I don't like towns, they are ugly, grey, boring and intersections are small. Sorry for my English, I live in Czech Republic.

I got both with all the expansions.
My opinion is ATS is the better quality game without mods. But if you bring Promods for ETS2 into the equation, ETS2 is the better game. Promods makes ETS2 absolutely incredible. ATS has a ways to go before the modding community totally pushes that game to the level of greatness that ETS2 currently has thanks to its mods.
But the real truth is they are both amazing games. They are basically like brothers.
I fucking love ProMods
What is promods?
@@tikruppawlovsky7860 It's a mod the pretty much completely re-does the Euro Truck Simulator map, expands it (by a lot), and refines the experience. And it's somehow still free!
damn bro you must have a lot of money to spend, even during sales only ETS with all map expansions is like 100 euro..
@@GPASG It cost a LOT cheaper than those 3A games and will brings you 100+ hours amazing experience. I think it's worth it. BTW I remember the game is not cost that much.
I enjoy ETS2 better than ATS since it's comparable to my country having terrain where roads go overly curvy and makes u focus on steering, accelerating & braking all at the same time including shifting into different gears to maintain speed w/o tipping the truck. The roads changing sizes from wide to narrow vise versa is satisfying to nail at constant speed w/o a single scratch on my trucks. Overall I can practice time management in both games from a job after the other... Safe driving peeps
Ohh really Thanks for commenting 😌
Im mixed on the two, im from the US so I got ATS before ETS. I got a little bored with ATS and ive always thought European trucks are dope so I got it. ETS is a huge culture shock, buildings look different than here, vehicles, roads, the way towns and cities are laid out and whatnot, its been a really cool escape from ATS but at the same time it feels incredibly cramped. Obviously theyre cramming multiple countries together so theres no way to get around that but its a constant thing. It feels more "on rails" than ATS, and after driving trucks with long wheel bases and 53+ ft trailers in ATS, theres not much challenge with ETS.
Everyone gripes that ATS is like 80% desert, but thats just because its the western states so far, once they get to the midwest and beyond, the scenery will be a drastic change. (and theyre almost there since theyve announced Wyoming now so get ready for the great plains) ATS just feels big. Making a run from Washington down to New Mexico really feels like it takes a long time, so I feel like you take in more of the scenery since you actually have time to look around or stop at a truck stop, where as ETS is just BOOM youre in another country BOOM youre in another country, and the fact that most of our states are larger than a lot of European countries, it has a feeling of size to it. ETS totally has a charm to it for sure, even though ive never been to Europe it has that cool alien culture shock to me and I dig that a lot. But at the end the day, you cant beat flying down the road at 80mph letting that American turbo scream and that jake brake thunder down the hill. Lol
I think they'd drop Montana after Wyoming and then Texas would take them a while.
But I just drove from Michigan all the way across Montana this summer and they got their work cut out for them on that state. In and out of massive mountains, constant curvy roads. Speed limit is 80+ out there too. Its definitely the wild west of driving in America for sure. Montana is an ABSOLUTELY incredible state. One of the most incredible places on earth terrain wise. I'm excited to see what they do with that state.
In my opinions ETS might be bigger now. But if they actually completed the map of America itd be a no contest which map is more diverse and interesting. America has 15+ unique biomes, atleast.
I’ve rode with my dad and took a run from Wyoming to New Mexico and my god it took a long time
Yeah i can see how you don't find ets challenging. It doesn't even have all truck we have here in europe. Up in sweden i mostly see the rigid chassies type or whatever they're calle in english. it's the longer truck with a dolly trailer which i have licence for irl. I Can't wait for the day ets2 releases those. Then it'll be a challegen for you. IF you reverse up those a couple times, A "normal" american tractor trailer is a piece of cake ^^
@@TheBelovedDisciple144 well they just announced Texas is comin after Wyoming sooo.
Thats probably because people are used to the surroundings they live in. I live in europe and personally think that ATS is a bit empty, that's because im used to european surrounding. but I still like both games :D

Same
ATS has more map details.
I live near Berlin in real life, in the area that was built before ETS2 was released many years ago. There is some stuff going on that is unrealistic, like the right lane on an Autobahn suddenly becoming an exit without notice. There are many tight corners that don't exist in reality on the Autobahn. Also some of the intersections are unrealistic. And the cities are very generic and all look the same.
In ATS the cities are larger, there is more to see. I've never been to the USA, but the roads generelly appear to be realistic.
ATS is more challenging:
The trucks are longer, the trailers are longer and they also have a long wheelbase. It's harder to drive. Also there are higher speed limits, 80 mi/h is roughly 128 km/h, that's really fast for European standards. So you have to be more careful and slow down for the corners.
I hope they manage to rebuild the old map area in central Europe in the future and make it as enjoyable as the newer map sections in the USA.
Yes bro me also hope that !
80mph is kinda of a lie I think highest is 75 but for trucks it's 70
@@IN54ANE it's different from truck to truck 👍
@@IN54ANE True, in ATS there are highways in Nevada where the GPS tells you the truck speed limit is 80 mph, but according to this website, that's not accurate:
www.speed-limits.com/nevada.htm
Maximum speed limit is 75 mph in Nevada.
But other states seem to have higher speed limits. Texas is 85 mph, even for trucks.
AtS is easier cuz roads are so much bigger
They should make Soviet truck simulator. There are tons and tons of that trucks, begining from small trucks like GAZ Next to monsters like MAZ 543. Ik there are Spintires Original, Mudrunner and Snowrunner, but someone should make game where we drive on roads like this. There are even modern Russian trucks thet should be in game. It would even be more better if we have DLCs like "Heavy Trucks" or something like that. Just imagine game with this cool vehicles with graphic of this 2 games... cooling blood!
Waah bro ! I think it's a good idea i'm also fully excited about that :)
GAZ, MAZ, BELAZ :-)
I heard from SCS software guy that they can't get license for old trucks, because truck brands want to show their best and the newest trucks. Also they don't want the game to show them damaged, so that's the reason why in simulators from SCS software isn't visible damage
@@aladin919 Ohh okk !
Teberaa Ese they could have just made a DLC for Russia, extending from SPB to Novosibirsk. After a few years of development, eventually we can drive to Thailand haha.

Let’s take our time and appreciate this man for replying and liking every comment 🔥congrats on your progression bro🥳
Thqq bro 😘
I've been playing both the ETS 2 and ATS, and in my humble opinion ATS is better. First of all landscapes in America are more interesting. Secondly speed limits for trucks are higher. At some motorways 80 mph is allowed what it gives about 120-130 km per hour. In Europe max speed limit is 80 KM/h and the police gives high tickets even if you drive a few km faster. It makes you are the slowest on motorway, every car and bus overtakes you and long distance are boring. Living of truck-driver in Europe must be so boring compare to American drivers. IN ATS you drive faster, you overtake more vehicles and it makes that game is more dynamic and curious. Looking at lorries the American vehicles are longer, and driving them is more difficult and complicated.
Yes !
ATS has better cities too. London and Paris are almost nothing compared to the detail of Las Vegas
You can disable the speed limiter and also drive on car limit and you can drive on 130 kmh without getting fined in ets2
@@4879daniel haa bro !
@@isufiart9403 yes bro !
Currently ETS has more content but ATS has way bigger potential since SCS is planning to create every single state. Even now with current states available you can already see big difference in environment when you go from Colorado to Arizona, the scenery is amazing and vastly different. Colorado is more green, with beautiful mountains and waterfalls, whereas Arizona is all desert and has straight roads with nothing but sand around them. Whereas in ETS, even though it has many countries, they are all very similar when it comes to scenery and environment since Europe itself as a landmass is very similar everywhere. When ATS is fully finished it's going to be insane, just imagine driving from east coast to west coast, and how long it's going to take you to finish the delivery. On the other hand, ETS has different countries where different languages are spoken and you have to drive through borders which is cool if you ask me. But overall l think when ATS is fully finished, it will be a bigger game with a bigger map. Also, I think adding snow would benefit a lot in terms of realism and just changing it up a bit, especially in ETS.
Oh boy they Are going to Have dlc For ole state
By the way, why couldn't it become at least North American Truck Simulator, with Canada and Mexico added, to start with? This could be a huge variety of territories and landscapes.
@@user-kk4nu4hq3v Because it's a small ass team making this and it already takes a year to make just one state
@@darthkillerhog What about ETS then? As I understand, it has the whole Europe map ( simplified and all, but still). Actually, I haven't played either of them, so I'm not judging, just asking. With my PS4 I have to make do with this surrogate 'Truck Driver'.
@@user-kk4nu4hq3v ETS has an entire team behind it. ATS does not they are not the same group of people making both games. Only reason why ETS has almost the entire map done is becuase the game has been out since 2012 ATS only came out in 2016. It takes an entire year to make a state considering the size of the United States alone. US is far bigger than European countries so it takes more time to make I mean texas alone with is coming out this year is the size of France alone the team has a lot of ground to cover
Playing years at ETS i bought ATS few months ago and i really enjoy ATS, more life in ATS , i prefer ATS.

ETS 2 for me because you have much more variety of trucks you can drive and customize.
New dlc's find a faster way to get through, the mapping overall also have a lot of diversity to discover while driving.
In ATS i have to fight against myself not falling as sleep driving endless straight roads for half of the route, however i also enjoy ATS if im bored of ETS 2 but it still needs some big updates and not only new maps, because it feels like ATS doesn't get that much love which is sad. :/

In reply to those saying that ATS has better graphics: You DO know that they both run on the same engine right? The engine, the graphics and graphics settings and the sound engine are identical between the two games. The ONLY difference is what actually makes up the map, and yes, ATS might look nicer because of what is IN the map, but the graphics are entirely the same.
I think may be brightness is higher in ATS I'm experimently tested !

As an American, it's very obvious that ATS was made by a bunch of Europeans who's only experience of the U.S is through Hollywood movies or the occasional vacation to California (some areas of the map SCREAM Hollywood Movie, tumbleweeds and such) With that being said, it is still a pretty phenomenal representation of the States even with its flaws and wild exaggerations

Both games are essentially the same, just based in different places. However ETS2 has better truck customization, more trucks to offer, and well it has a bigger map. ATS is more much realistic, with great looking cities and is currently growing in map size. ATS will be very big with the entire USA map. Imagine if they included Canada too. The only downfall I see for ATS is lack of truck customization

I like that in American truck, the cab doesn't move a lot when you turn in high velocities
But I still hate that they're hard to Maneuver and too large
And I hate the Analogic Dashboards
Yeah bro 🥰
The Iberia DLC made me go back to play ETS but man it's a rough change from ATS. The map is bigger on paper but it's minuscule in practice, cities in ETS are 4 blocks wide and do a very poor job of conveying how the actual vibe of the city. Newer ATS DLCs are scaling things better and better but I feel we need like other 2 full fledged truck simulator games to really have a simulation experience. Wake me up in 15 years!
Idk about the laws in the US, but for example you said that cities in ETS are 4 blocks wide, and that's true. irl, trucks can't go deep in cities, only are allowed to go in certain parts of the city, for example in Barcelona, only can go in the coast part because the port and the airport are in the coast line. Imo, I think it's realistic, not a fail. I could be wrong tho. That's my opinion.
ETS2 with Promods. It's like a whole new game
shrug... love both of em... both combined = lots of roads, lots of trucks, lots of trailers and both have quite decent graphics, tons of mods and way too many hours of gameplay and it's fun to drive to various special sights
Yes bro ! I'm also thinking that. Thanks for commenting 👍
I am really happy to see that all player of ETS2 and ATS respect and they also keep opinion in both game not like pubg free fire player almost fighting and misunderstanding each other really appreciate to all 😁😊
They are the two sides of the same coin. My preference depends on my mood and which one has the newest DLC.
Now if we are talking about trucks, I prefer European cab overs. Much easier to maneuver. Not to mention the ridiculous Scania & Volvo with 730+ engines.
Ets2 has more to add like maps from promods but I also love Ats but I tend to play Ets2 more as there is more to look at when driving about .
Yes ! Even I'm also make Ets2 videos than ATS !
After having played both games heavily for years, I still cannot have a preference
Both are unique in their own ways, because of the differences in the trucks themselves (American trucks are more stable, and speed limits are higher, roads wider, but European trucks are way more manoeuvrable) but also the different landscapes in the US and in Europe
Both games function very similarly, graphics are very good on both (especially for the latest content such as DLCs), and the size of both maps is pretty equal in the end
I always end up switching back and forth between the two, and love them both equally, for different reasons, but in the end I don't think there is a "winner", both are fantastic games that bring back so many memories of me growing up alongside them (especially when I used to listen to J-Pop extensively while playing ets2 xd)
Me too but I reviewed the time and x2 more time with ATS... ETS2 became boring for me. ATS not, and with the new TEXAS DLC and Mexico?
I would go with American truck simulator (and yes maybe a little bit of bias since I am from the states) As American truck simulator's gameplay feels a little bit more "brighter" than ETS2. Also, I like the trailer listing in American truck simulator, as they seem pretty realistic for what I have seen on the road. In addition, I have visited multiple states in the ATS map, with DLC, and man it really feels like I am on a road trip, they get the feel of everything nicely, as well as my hometown. But I am supposing both could also be said for ETS2. With my personal preference ATS!
My thought and your thought Is same bro 🥰

The both are very good ets 2 is just more famous and it have a bit more dlc's
Yes bro 💯
I'm from Australia so I don't have a bias to American or European trucks as we have both styles down here. Additionally, our road network is like a hybrid between American roads and European roads so I've got no real bias in that department either. I do prefer ATS over ETS2, the engine is the same so the graphics between the games aren't too different but the world-building in ATS pays much more attention to detail, each town in ATS feels unique unlike in ETS2. While it is true that the desert biome dominates the game right now, with the addition of the new DLCs in states like Colorado, more variation is being added.
Yeah bro
I love both games but I prefer ETS2 because it has so many countries and then it becomes different traffic rules. To for intance in United Kingdom it is left hand traffic which also do it funner to drive in ETS2. It is more fun when not all the parts of the map have either left or right hand traffic. You can become very used to drive on a side of the road and then it become more challenge to drive on the other side of the road. Euro truck simulator 2 has also many ferry terminals and even a channel tunnel with train terminals. ATS has weigh stations more different trucks and more uncommon trailers that may appear in the freight market choice. The arguments for ETS2 is more funner than the arguments for ATS.
In ETS2 you can also switch the interior to UK interior and get the steering wheel on the right hand side also.
For engine sounds and brakes...I go with ATS...how can you not love the Jake Brakes sound!
Of course bro ! Sound gives more realistic experience !
I personally think ETS 2 has better sounds
I think I prefer ATS slightly more if only because of England (Sorry, Brits) Driving on the left hand side of the road is still a bit odd to me. And I live in the U.S.
Hmm yeah !
Hey. The correct side of the road is the left. The first vehicles to use a road, were the romans who drove their carts on the left hand side of the road. To free their right hands to do fighting with. (As most were right-handed) So the brits stuck with the correct way. 😜

3:31 ~ New maps (ATS) since that video : Idaho、Colorado + British Columbia and winter mods (multiplayer truckersmp)
Ats is more better in my opinion, doesn’t mean ets2 isn’t good, I just prefer it, it would be cool in the future if ats could get the entire US and even a bit of Mexico and canada
0:59 its going to be so weird to see Iberia there later this year.
Hmmm 🤔
Why tho?
@@hernimaniak2379 ?:)
@@hernimaniak2379 they feel better making a big boom than smaller ones
I have ets2 and ats aswell and both are super trucking games. I‘d prefer ets a bit more because I‘m an absolute Scania fan and hauling with over 700 hp is so much fun :))
btw nice video m8 although its been a year already :P
There is nothing like ets vs ats. Both are great and they are not against each other.
In ETS2 with realistic Mods, the graphics can become insanee
ATS cuz of the jack brake moods and plus better gràfics
Yes! I like the jack brake sound 👌
I don't consider ETS2 or ATS as a game, I consider both of them as a company management app because we can make and manage our own transport companies.
Both the legendary games will never be forgotten.
ETS2 is the best and the most realistic simulation game in the world.
Hats off to SCS SOFTWARE hardwork!
Yes bro !
For ATS there are mods that add the rest of USA (coast2coast), Mexico (a lot of mods just Google it) and Canada (CanaDream)
yeah bro 👍
If you have ets2 1.27 then you can install Mario map that add the whole America and Europe map and Egypt and some other Arabic countries

@@sameer5634 Wow! Do you need DLCs?
@@sameer5634 ohhh really I don't know about that :)
@@Juampi_Marino No bro !
Both games are best. But only when you buy an original copy, Not Pirated one
These two games are too good for me, that I can't choose which one is good
Yeah bro of course 😊
I have full ATS and demo ets, currently est is getting my vote because it just has more things you can do, but while ets isn’t getting that many new dlc’s, ATS sim constantly getting new updates and dlc’s.
I might have to call ATS because when ever I try to play ETS for a longer period of time I find myself bored of the game pretty early.... in fact I crashed my truck before because my mind was so dull for driving for so long. I can play ATS all day & night!
Ats I like that trucking feeling
Yes bro 😍
ATS, because if it has less trucks, the few it has are more beautiful, I like the landscapes, from the northern woods to the southern deserts, and why no to say it, I'm spaniard, my country is the third largest country in Europe after Rusia and France, but Spain has no map. So ATS doubtless.
Do you have any idea why it doesn't have a map for Spain?
@@manuelalexandru8865 No. I'd like to know it, but I don't. know.
Would love to see another comparison when all 48 states are released in American Truck Simulator as most US states are larger than entire European countries especially the mid west and pacific states.
Yes bro ☺️
There are 50 states in USA.
@@sanathanicoder Alaska & Hawaii are separated from US mainland
I like American Truck Simulator because it has the Peterbilts. The 389 is my most favorite truck ever. Also It’s very hard for me to find any Euro Truck Simulator 2 games available.
Haa yes bro ! These two games are never replaced by other games 😑
I like both but when I want to drive withe bigger rig I play ats but for simulation I prefer ets2.
Yes ! Bro ! Thnx for watching 😊
Hey dude, I like the concept of this video but I do think you can improve your editing skills.
Hey bro I don't have better graphics card bro ! Today I bought GTX 1030 gddr5 graphics card next time I will do better ! Thank you for your advice 😊

@@GameStarVenkat ow a 1030! I used that card for a year and it was really good for it's price. bought it for 50$ back then. and it served Me really well.
@@Avoidthevoidx Yes bro ! Performance is far better !
I prefere ETS2 because here, in Brazil, we have just European trucks, but i appreciate so much ATS. (have more brazilian mods to ETS2)
For me it's just based in my mood, sometimes I feel like ets, others, ats
me too :)
All right kids. As someone who put more than one million km in real truck in real USA and EU(yep I have both CDL Class A with X and T endorsements and a CE licence in EU), I say: none of those represent real life, so you should play what you feel like playing.
I found ets 2 to be better in a few areas than ATS and that is:
Suspension is a bit more realistic in ETS
gear changes are a bit better in ETS
ETS trucks have good starting power unlike ATS
And there are a lot more mods for ETS than ATS
Bro very good video, thanks for this video, from your video I was able to figure out which game I want to purchase, and I bought ATC.
Those SuperMega boys were able to get an American Truck Simulator video into my recommended lmao
Ohh okk
Who love European trucks 😍😍
Any one including me but also American trucks 😊
I like all trucks

@@aniket.h403 hey doge😍
My pick is American truck.
The graphics and landscapes are more beautiful than in ETS 2
Yes bro Mee too!
Już myślałem że Kickstera przez przypadek kliknąłem, bo takie samo intro😆
I hope that someday they turn these in a big game called "World Truck Simulator", with many others countries, trucks, etc.
May be I also think about that
I choose ETS 2 cause have RHD. In Malaysia use RHD same as UK style 😊
Ohh okk 😊
Ets cuz it reminds me of the long travels thru eu irl
Hmm bro :)
I get people got bored of ATS when there was only CA, NV and AZ, Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks out there but seriously, nowadays with 9 states, Promods Canada beginning, 7 truck manufacturers, I don't understand why people play ETS2, ATS is so better looking, more detailed, breathtaking landscapes, sick trucks to drive with, awesome motorways (Highways) I just love trucking around Western America!
Me too bro
In my opinion, ats has a more beatiful landscape, meanwhile ets2 is just fence, grass and trees. However i feel that you can get really immersed in both games, and since both of the also have the same time (1 minute = 8 seconds.) Personally I enjoy both, but if i had to pick one, definitely ats (even though i will miss the scania)
Yes bro ☺️ my pick also ATS
Both are great, different Styles, but I like ATS because I'm American.

I just bought ets2 a few days ago and have played ats demo previously. I live in Europe and can already say that I prefer ets2. I just find travelling around Europe is more interesting than America imo. Also considering that I have been to so many popular cities in America in previous games it just wouldn't give me as much interest.
Ets2 gives europe trucking style ,ats gives american trucking style I love both games 🙂
Im gonna get ats for my bday ive played the demo and i totally love it!!!
I am replying to this vid because both games are really good right now. The graphics are great with both games and more! Right now, I prefer Ets2 but, ATS is definitely on my list.
Yeah bro
an Australian Truck Sim would have all these trucks right?
May be bro ! I don't know about that !
Yeah I live in Australia and I see American Kenworths and Mack. To European Volvo’s and scanias
I would love it, if they make a game like ets for India. Just imaging the commotion of ETS online on an offline map. If you crash you get cussed at! Dayumm the game would be epic and the types of trucks that you can drive is mind blowing!!
I always play those games at my Grandparent’s place😂
