Just saw this video. You have really impressed my husband and myself. Your ambition is very encouraging to us. We hope this encourages more young adults to find their own ambition! Good on ya!
My father was a bee keeper in the east coast of the U.S. He had 133 hives. I was heavily involved as it was not a one-man project. What you're doing is awesome. Very well prepared and planned! Happy bee farming!

Hi! I’m in West Palm Beach Florida. You were my entertainment after a long day of work what beautiful work you’re doing. You put a big smile in my face. I’m Haitian, a mom and a nurse. God bless you continue your great work and love for God’s gift to us humans to enjoy nature ❤ this video I watch the whole thing it was so entertaining I look forward to see how you move the bees.
Hey Alex, your business did'nt make a loss. You are adding value to our lives by showing us how we are supposed to live. The profit of your project is in the passion you share, for life, for your bees, life is about the little things you have just reminded me of that. Not everything that counts can be counted. Thank you for sharing your journey.
One of the best and most realistic video I ' ve ever watched .We learnt much about beekeeping and along with the characteristic of being patient .Thank you
It seems like you're just doing everything! Gardening, bee keeping, fishing! I LOVE IT! Its so beautiful where you live and it seems so PEACEFUL! I love watching you and your father working together.
You are a fine man, Alex! Hug your mum and dad because they trained you well! Caring, curious, intelligent, fun, talented! I'm a beekeeper too, so it was especially fun to watch. God bless you and your adventures!!! Garry
Hi Alex. I'm just starting my beekeeping life but I have made candles from local bees wax here in Suffolk. You should try the dipped candle method. It's so much more of an artisan method and one which has been used for hundreds of years! It's so easy and you'll get more candles per the amount of wax! Love your channel, you've been the final push I needed to dive in. Seeing how hesitant you were to how quickly you became confident in handling the frames has given me that confidence. You explain things in such an easy and positive manner. I'm seriously very impressed! I'm 47 and you inspired me! Ps. Tell your parents they have a very beautiful garden! And I'm also a huge fan of orchids tho I only have 3 house orchids so far! ❤
unfortunately, the kitchen counter is not to be stepped on with his dirty socks while processing products he sells to others. I hope he can edit that part out soon. But its too late already, the cat is out of the bag. The boy needs to be taught about the sanctity of the kitchen space. It's not a place to build bee boxes, sit on or step on the counters and other crap while using it as a place to prepare food.
I know, I have seen this but this kind of films are the ones I like. And no one other can make this kind of film. Thank you Alex, for these wonderfull films that you make. You inspire me so much, thank you.
The energy you and your dad have is hysterical lol. Its like awkward best friends vibe and I'm so here for it. Thank you for taking us on this journey the last two years. It has been so fun to watch and once I have land I'm definitely going to be starting my own hive
This video has just made me so happy. I think growing up with my grandpa's and great grandpa's vegetable garden just made me appreciate the process of taking care of these things, because you get so much joy in the end when you harvest. Whether is it picking up potatoes, peeling pea pods, or collecting honey, it makes the entire journey worth it! It's something I'm trying to pass on to my little cousins.
Alex, Many of your viewers including my humble self, Are in favor, enjoy, and appreciate your sharing, As a New York City dweller we had no idea exactly how much work goes into gathering honey., Combating pest mite control by building your bee hive frames, It appears that you're working hard like the bees. Here's Wishing You and your extended Bee family. Happiness, Good Health , Continued Success, Thanks again for sharing.
Alex, thanks again for inspiring me to take up beekeeping! I wasn't expecting to keep any honey this first year, but to my surprise I now have a 5 gallon bucket full of honey sitting in my garage, and today I just put a 100% full super on each hive for the winter and closed the hives up until spring. It's been a really rewarding hobby for me this last year, and I have you to thank. Maybe my new winter hobby will be microgreens 😀 Best of luck taking the bees on a road trip!
We've watched the whole 2 hours and it made me so happy watching people finally buy the honey. Love your contents so much! Watching your videos everyday.
Thank you so much Alex. Firstly, it's good quality and entertaining content. Secondly, I'm becoming more and more interested in bees and potentially keeping bees, and watching someone at a beginner stage go through the learning process first, documenting the journey, teaching and providing updates, as openly and honestly as you have has been incredibly useful. Thank you again.
I thought 2 hours that's long but it just wasn't long enough great content love your channel and the diversity of the things you do keep it up thanks Alex 👍
A reason that most people use wax foundation instead of the plastic inserts is because it takes 7 to 8 ponds of honey to make 1 pound of wax. If your bees make less wax, you get more honey
Hi Alex, I love Bees and love what you have done, and that you have also grown your own foods as well. I hope the garden where you are moving to has a large garden for you to grow plenty of vegetables and salad plants as well, and plenty of flower varieties for your Bees to get pollen from (Dont forget a greenhouse as well). You make me happy making these video's of your progress doing all this stuff and I hope it inspires a lot of younger people to become more self reliable and grow their own foods. I look forward to watching your video's and look forward to see what you are gonna do next. I hope your move to Bristol goes smoothly for you and look forward to your next video. Take care & Good luck.
Alex well done. I have been following your beekeeping from the beginning. I really like this summary video. Thanks for all your hard work in putting this together.
It’s so hard to highlight the best moments of your videos. Everything is just so interesting! I particularly like your curiosity along the way and the passion when you see the final outcome of your experiments. Besides, you’re doing an incredible educational work here, ecology, research methods, citizen science, sustainability..and the list goes on. Congrats for such hard and inspiring work 💚
Absolutely amazing video! Loved every second of it. You are such a wonderful story teller. All the work that went into the making of this documentary is unbelievable. Thanks so much, Alex!

Excellent job, Alex! I find your videos interesting, informative and calming. I like to let them play in the evening while I'm working on another project. I know it is hard work to film everything you do and then edit it into such nice videos. Thank you!
Oh my. I have been watching many many many many videos of all kinds of matter, subjects and content for quite a number of years now. This Alex, is hands-down the absolute best thing I’ve have EVER seen on UA-cam! Outstanding! Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. - A big thanks !!! Love it.
well done Alex! I've been looking forward to seeing how much honey you have made over the summer and wow it truly is amazing! I'm so excited for the next season of honey 🐝
Thanks Alex.. I've been following your journey and you inspired me to set up my apiary working with Africanized bees in Tanzanian. Today I've got 15 colonies over the course of 7 months ( through catching swarms and bee removals). You are a teacher and a mentor.. Big congrats and looking forward to more your amazing contents. Shoutout to your Dad..
Hi Alex, despite having seen these episodes I’m really enjoying seeing it in one long vlog. It’s amazing how much I’m learning seeing it again. I’m no bee keeper but definitely a honey fan. I use honey on toast or bread but also in place of sugar in most things like making bread. I only buy quality honey as I love trying the various tastes. I do love acacia honey as it’s light, and great in most things but I also love woodland and heather honey which is about as dark as it gets and makes beautiful soft gingerbread. I also loved your Austrian episodes as I used to live there and so love that country. Keep vlogging!
I've enjoyed watching your gardening and now your beekeeping videos I watch and listen to them throughout the seasons listen to them but one thing I like is your earnestness and how really great your dad and mum are, your brother seems cool too
Dear Alex this is MaRitz from Brooklyn NY USA You're so totally awesome! God bless you, & many more blessings. I really hope my children can bump or meet you! My son is looking forward to visiting England. I'm a mom of two Boy and girl. My daughter is close to your age my son by ten years.... I truly admire your Gardening and Honey Videos, the best binge watching since recovering from the flu. I love your transparency, and sincere way you come across to your audience & I'm sure you have a great audience from the help and kindness from people beyond... I also love Gardening and would love to Do some Bee Keeping Hopefully very soon!..*You've got talent Alex & Stay Amazing😃
I loved watching this whole video! I'm planning on getting bees myself, soon. I grow flowers, vegetable gardens and have a small orchard of mixed fruits. Bees will be the natural next step to take. After watching your videos, I am certain that I must have the long hives. I am 62 and have back problems already. Thanks to you, a young man commenting on the weight of the honey boxes... I know what I personally need. Your video was full of super valuable insight. Thank you so much for taking the time to film it.
Thank you for making such a deep and informative video. I've seen all the other vidoes, but it was nice with a full summarize! Stay strong and all the best to you.
I’ve watched all your bee keeping videos and still enjoyed this. So relaxing to watch and live vicariously through you. Also great to see you doing what you are where you are and not in a remote country cottage-goes to show you can do some of what you love right where you are. Looking forward to seeing your next adventures moving home.
Alex. Thanks for putting this episode together & explaining absolutely everything. I know a lot of work went into documenting all of this whilst managing your bees. This has to be one of the most interesting uploads I've seen of yours.
Thank you Alex. Gold plated info and insights righ there for someone like me who have been researching on how to do successful and sustainable bee farming. Thanks again. Love from the pacific islands of PNG
I loved this recap of videos over the last 2 years! I am likewise a budding prospective beekeeper and hope to trap my first hive of wild bees in the Spring. Had hoped to get it done this year, but time and weather were not on my side - but now I have almost all the infastructure in place and ready for Springtime. Hoping the wild hive I've had my eyes on makes it through winter and stays put until I can get them moved into my hive. 🐝
Thanks for putting this all in one. That way I didn’t have to keep searching for every video. I never gave honey a single thought other than “yummy honey” and this video was amazing to watch the process
A lot of the profit of beekeeping is how enriched we are to watch your collection of knowledge and happiness within this 2+ hours. Why? Because it's like the flame of your beeswax candle that spreads inspiration and happiness to all others through a beautiful form of contact! Magical. Thank you for your hard work and your uploads! I just found and subscribed to you today! I wish you much future success!
Im in Ontario Canada. Ive learned so much at 65 yrs old almost Nov 24 lol! I wasn't even searching about honey or anything but I love learning n interesting things.....like you lol. Just saying nature is so cool. Gosh you eork so hard too! I love your appreciation of life too! Oh n "Honesty is key"! Sending u a giant hug!❤ Take care please. Love your family too! Hello everyone!
Thank YOU Alex for being so so so so inspiring! Raising our ancestor spirits and treating them so well and yet being so humble and sweet (honey fits you so well!) and I really hope the best for you. I absolute adored your attitude toward life and toward projects, you are inspiring and a wonderful person! Thank you so much again!!
I love your enthusiasm about bee keeping and finding it rather contagious! I am equally thrilled to see your father's orchid collection and reminds me of my late Dad who loved his orchids and growing up in Sikkim, somehow I knew no other plants as such other than orchids! Thank you for sharing your fun adventures in the garden!
I enjoyed watching your video! You made beekeeping look simple. I love❤ the easy way you explain and express your story! The cherry on top is your candles! I’m in Pretoria South Africa !
Your videos are fun, ive re- rewatched some 6 or 7 videos. Youre so enthusiastic, straoghtforward, and i like seeing your dad in these. Hes a funny bloke. Love from The States my good man
Great stuff Alex. I really enjoy your videos and the style you have naturally, making the information you have very easy to assimilate and enjoy. A nice healthy life style with your family is so important these days and this comes across so well when you interact with your Dad. By far this is the best bee video I have watched so far and there have been hundreds. I think our minds must work similar and this is why I feel comfortable and enthused whilst listening and seeing what you do. Many thanks, and appreciate this Alex and Take Care.
Hi Alex! I really love watching your videos! My relatives on my fathers side were gardeners and my father a hortoculturist. I love your talent with your cameras. Beautifully filmed. Great angles, light and editing. Your calmness and the slow music in the background make your videos a delight to watch. You are very generous and your way of teaching and sharing your experiences are very valuable to me! Great job!!
I started watching your Beekeeping videos while I work, and it's inspired me to start brewing mead again! Thank you so much for inspiring me with your passion for your bees and helping me reconnect with an old beloved hobby
You are incredible, these videos are so informative and interesting to watch and believe me, I watched it all the way through! Your journey is super inspiring.
Have been thinking of exploring bee keeping. Love bees and what they do for the world. My grand father kept bees, so I kind of feel like I should try my hand at it. Your videos are so inspirational. Not just for bee keeping, but also for how refreshing your outlook on life is, as well as your relationship with your family. Truly wishing you the best, from Texas. Cheers mate.
I’ve just gotten on a waiting list for my first “nuke” hive, and I’m the first name on their list for the year In Bosque Farms, NM. I guess November is when they start the wait list for the year. Alex you are an inspiration to me as I’ve watched your channel over the past year or so. Thank you buddy! There is so much to glean from this episode 😮. This is like a 2 hour class on bee keeping for a newbie.
I have naturally never been excited about bee-keeping but I always respected the hard work thats behind it (and in other professions aswell). I followed your channel out of bore in 2020 or 2021. Your videos were always very exciting to me. It's almost as I see my own kid explore the world. Thank you very much for sharing. Much love from Germany. Edit: corrections
Good morning Alex I hope that you are doing well I have been rewatching some of your videos and decided to watch your brother's account you both are so much alike it was rather funny he had gone fishing with two friends who have the same name. I look forward to seeing your videos. 😊 Love from Arizona 🇺🇸
Just stumbled onto this video by accident tonight and have binged watched the entire thing while doing some online shopping. Wow!!!! Just wow! 😊Well done @just_alex. What you've done is amazing and you're such a great storyteller. It was a joy to watch your journey from start to finish. I'm also thrilled to see you've kept it local. From a medicinal point of view, it's always best to eat local Honeys because they'll be full of the right properties from the local environment to help support your immune system. So for example, Manuka Honeys will be best suited in keeping the Kiwis happy and healthy. Brilliant content! I hope you keep going. Eager to see how your adventure evolves. Many best wishes from Brussels, Belgium.
I’ve been considering bee’s for the last couple of years because I’ve always found them interesting and grow many types of fruit trees on my property. I just never knew how to start, watching your bee experience I took your advice and reached out to my local bee association. I’m starting Bee school next month and am hoping to start my own hive this spring! Honestly if I hadn’t watched you I might not have ever started. Keep doing what your doing!
You didn't cost your labour, which by far would have been the biggest expense. Apart from that Alex, congratulations on your enterprise. It was great fun and a great exercise. Thanks for sharing !

Excellent job, Alex! I find your videos interesting, informative and calming. I like to let them play in the evening while I'm working on another project. I know it is hard work to film everything you do and then edit it into such nice videos. Thank you!
I've watched all of your bee keeping videos and really enjoyed them all! This video will bee great to refresh the memory. Cheers

🐝
Thanks Alex.. I've been following your journey and you inspired me to set up my apiary working with Africanized bees in Tanzanian. Today I've got 15 colonies over the course of 7 months ( through catching swarms and bee removals). You are a teacher and a mentor.. Big congrats and looking forward to more your amazing contents. Shoutout to your Dad..
I loved seeing the community affect at the end of the video! The sweet little gifts and trade really show what a community can create together!
Good job Alex. Proud of you. I'm looking forward to what you do next. Your video's are amazing. Love them. From California.
Looking forward to seeing your next adventures moving home.
it was really worth watching .. 2 hours was never a waste of time thanks dude
Good luck as you move to a new place and start a new journey! Super excited for you and your bees!!
🍀🍀🍀
Thanks for putting this all in one. That way I didn’t have to keep searching for every video.
I never gave honey a single thought other than “yummy honey” and this video was amazing to watch the process
A lot of the profit of beekeeping is how enriched we are to watch your collection of knowledge and happiness within this 2+ hours.
Why? Because it's like the flame of your beeswax candle that spreads inspiration and happiness to all others through a beautiful form of contact! Magical. Thank you for your hard work and your uploads!

From beekeeping novice to honey-harvesting hero, this journey is sweeter than any hive could produce! 🐝

Seeing you get on with things motivates me to set my own life in order and finally take care of projects. Thanks 🙏
You are incredible, these videos are so informative and interesting to watch and believe me, I watched it all the way through! Your journey is super inspiring.
Did I just watch this all even though I watched it before? Yes. The best. Thanks Alex.
I love the way you explain things in such a straightforward way. You would make an excellent teacher. 😊
As a gardener I’ll always be excited 😄😄
I have naturally never been excited about bee-keeping but I always respected the hard work thats behind it (and in other professions aswell). I followed your channel out of bore in 2020 or 2021. Your videos were always very exciting to me. It's almost as I see my own kid explore the world. Thank you very much for sharing. Much love from Germany.
Edit: corrections
The countryside looks so beautiful and serene.
It was so amazing to see the journey, while watching the video it was like i was experiencing bee keeping.
Best wishes.

Thanks for sharing !
good job Alex, continue to have fun and enjoy your passion. Plus you and others get to appreciate the honey which your bees have cultivated.
Thank you for your videos Alex, you inspire to be more productive and to pursuy things I love to do! (From Brasil here!).
