Had a hard time finding this video again but I copied and pasted the template and managed to find you lol. Just wanted to thank you. I was ghosted and followed your template and was able to re-engage with the recruiter and I managed to get the job! I start on Monday. Thanks again!
You just got yourself a new subscriber✌Thanks for this video...I am also early in my career currently. The job hunt, especially today's market, is not the best - but some tips like in these videos can help.
Thank you so much! Firstly, your voice really calmed me down. And I wrote a follow up email like what you said, the HR and hiring manager gets back to me today and asked for a meeting with me this afternoon (after 1 week's waiting...), I hope god has prepared some good news for me today.
There's so many maybe's. I think if you are in touch with a professional organisation who valued you as a candidate they don't procrastinate, so as to make sure they don't lose the candidate. If you don't hear back in a suitable timeframe, move on a look for another job if they happen to come back to you while you're still looking, great, if not then tough. Organisations who ghost do this for nefarious reasons, in such cases you're probably better off not working for them.
Thank you this helps. I have interviewed twice and was told I pretty much had the job and then all of a sudden there is a brief hiring pause in the company. I followed up per agreement, in a month. Now I have not heard anything. UGH
Hi Lee, i am in a situation right now that I’m waiting for the employer’s response . Though I follow up email them after 4 days but didn’t get a reply or so. Now, it’s exactly 1 week since i was interview. Im still hoping they will call me this week. Thanks for your video my anxiety subsided a bit.
Adding my most recent interview experience: The Principal stated I would hear back from them no later than "next week." It's been more than three weeks now! Awful. Trying to stay calm. As you point out in your video, it kind of makes me NOT want to work at his school.
Pffft, I waited a week after the second interview then silence. I withdrew my interest on that 7th day. High Caliber candidates do not tolerate such a lack of communication or waiting. I take it as a sign of indecisiveness and that in and of itself is a problem I don't want to inherit.
It's not indecision. It's that they are negotiating with another candidate and keeping you in their back pocket in case the preferred candidate isn't successful.
@@kq1777 Candidates that have valuable skills don't wait around to get a silver medal. I did the exact same thing this person did. Great video! Question: I reached out to HM and he said couple days to make decision, but now it’s been a week and no info yet. Should I use your template for my second follow up?
When i put in my application, the job description indicated that the posting would automatically close when it had reached the first 150 applicants. It took about two weeks to hear back with a response for an invitation to an interview, and it’s almost nearly been 2 weeks as I’m still waiting to hear back with any results for a job offer or rejection. Meanwhile, I’m currently contracting with two different agencies as a part timer to keep the cash flow going.
I recently had an interview. One of the managers actually said I did a good job during the interview. So I felt confident. The next day I wanted to send a thank you letter to the managers but didn't have their email address. So I asked the HR person for their email address so I could send them a thank you letter. The HR person didn't respond (ghosted). Not sure if this is a bad sign.
I had my first initial round with the recruiter/ phone screen. Questions were based on soft skills. I was told from the recruiter that 2 days after I would have heard from him. I have not yet heard. It’s been 1 week now. Is this a bad sign? Also, I know the hiring manager and was encouraged to apply. I have not heard back yet. Should I worry?
Hello Had two interviews. First with HR and second with hiring manger. Recrived mix message. First they are still interviewing and then askef when could I start. I was not allowed to ask questions but direct to HR. I sent thank you note and asked one quetion. A week has passed and still have not heard fro. HR or anything. They left me hanging.
Hello lee I’ve applied to work at Lowe’s got the interview did the drug test and they told me that I should get an email from them from the drug test facility and they told me that if on a Monday I did not receive the email to call them back and so Monday came did not receive the email called them back at Lowe’s they did not answer left them a message saying that I didn’t receive the email like they said and it’s been about two weeks since then and I have not heard back from them what should I do please let me know Cause I feel like I want to call them back and tell them what’s going on with the job offer why has this been taking so long I feel like two weeks should be enough time and that I should have started working already or maybe they just ghosted me not sure 🤔
I had a recruiter gave me a contract to sign I did I asked her what would happen if i could not go to the job she said I would have to pay the company what I was going to make Then she gosthed me after 2 weeks I called her and she said she did not have the job anymore Is this disrespectful or what?
Hi Lee, I have appeared two rounds of interview last week, which went exceedingly well acc to me. Now its almost two weeks since first interview. I got anxious when there was no information. I was informed to allow two days. I happened to then follow up on 4th working day which is this week only. I emailed them and did not hear whole day. HR emailed me by eod that they may take time to close this position wrt global approvals and asked me to share CTC supporting in the meanwhile. Now I don't know if they are trying more candidates or it's more promising for me?
With some jobs if you call back and the manger won't take your call, just tell them you are customer calling to complain about one of their employees, that will get their attention real quick - so fast it will make their head spin . . . Remember, although job seekers are dirt, customers are always gold, I do recommend blocking your caller id . . .Of course, if the candidate had outstanding student loans, that is a death-force-blocker all cases, nobody will hire a student debtor to be anything but a jan--i-tor. Be smart like I am and refuse all loans, of course if you are already in that much debt, you can't . . .

Thank you!! 🥹🥹

Hey John, I just want to ask. Is it normal for an interviewer to ask Sales number on an applicant?
I had my first initial round with the recruiter/ phone screen. Questions were based on soft skills.
I was told from the recruiter that 2 days after I would have heard from him. I have not yet heard.
It’s been 1 week now.
Is this a bad sign?
Also, I know the hiring manager and was encouraged to apply.
I have not heard back yet.
Should I worry?
Yes just move on

Okay it's a good thing that they're literally typing up an offer? Can you write up a proposal that fast😅?
I had a recruiter gave me a contract to sign I did
I asked her what would happen if i could not go to the job she said I would have to pay the company what I was going to make
Then she gosthed me after 2 weeks I called her and she said she did not have the job anymore

"going to go ahead and send you the job offer in two hours"
Verify your information with the next day.
Apply for other jobs after 48 hours.

Disrespectful
They haven't called you back because they most likely aren't interested in you.
Not true at all
@@santabarbaraguy9430 so your telling me that these 10 interviews that I've had 11 months ago that they are still interested? Lmfao
Exactly...if you do not heard of them within 3-5 days, you need to move on to plan B. One thing is to think positive and other is to play dumb!
