I’ll be honest y’all, in my personal experience and opinion, when something is for you- it falls directly into your lap without confusion, doubt, and anxiety. It doesn’t take long to hear back from a job that really wants you. A job that was really for me, the interview process always took 2-3 weeks 🤷🏾♀️.
I agree. I almost start to feel disrespected when employers interview you 3 and 4 times over months like you have no other options or life. Some of these employers need to get a grip
Did u get the job? I sure hope u did. It’s been 7 days for me thought my interview went well but I can’t sleep either had the interview on July 9th and I was told the next step was expected be the week of July 20th and today is the 18th I’m going crazy with anxiety
Papa Smurf bro wtf it’s been exactly 2 weeks for me. I wish we can sue them cuz he’s wasting my time. He was also a Hasidic Jew so no offense but he made me hate all Hasidic Jews 😡 this my first job too. It’s for a warehouse job n the amount of employee is like 5-6 but he brought in like 8 candidates when I went into the interview. So clearly he’s picking like 1-2 out of the 8. Thanks for the Video! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Dinanlinson Face Blossoming Approach (search on google)? It is a great exclusive product for revealing the secret to master interviews and get the job without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cooworker got amazing success with it.
Cheers for this, I've been looking for "offers job" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Biyabriel Alarming Pastures - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
It took 2 months after an offer from the employer I work for now and have been there for 5yrs now and had 3 different roles there. Great company and awesome leadership.
If an employer really wants to hire you, they're not going to wait weeks to get back to you. Generally if I wanted to hire a person, I call them a few hours after the interview or within two days. I wouldn't want to lose the applicant to a competitor.
I understand that real life happens but I would appreciate if employers would give updates on delays, especially if I’ve advanced far in the interview process. It’s inconsiderate.
Honestly because I got hired and it’s been 3 weeks I haven’t even received shirts due to delays and the gm when I keep calling she gets rude and hangs up in my face
I definitely agree with this. I received a verbal offer with a job a month ago and have yet to receive the official offer. Honestly, the pay and opportunity to change my life around is the only thing that has me holding on, especially since the communication has been poor. I really do not hear from the contact person unless I email or reach out. It was even a hassle for my references to get back in contact with once she reached out to them. I understand things happen but communication is essential.
@@TheBishop97 so the question is do you really want to work for an organization with such poor communication? Continue to interview with other employers .. there might me better opportunities you are not going after. Keep up the grind you’ll find the right opportunity.
@@Earlofthearies.1982 can yaw help lol I’m 16 and had a interview at stop n shop and the manager said I did good during the interview and he said he will let me know Tuesday at 4 if I got the job or not
I have given an interview for internship at a very big organization. I wrote a thank you mail and asked went to expect the nxt update. They haven't responded its been 10days of interview and a week from thank you mail. No response yet. I really regret not asking them when will they let me know about the decision while the interview was going on. Now for all I know they may take any amount of time to get back or even just ghost me out. I'm not totally dependent on that, but it kind of screwed my peace that they weren't responding. Edit: Got it!!!!!!!!
its crazy because the jobs i got interviewed in, ive never followed up or really cared to get a job at those companies but still got a job offer. But the company that I tried my best in interviews I ended up failing
I waited 1 month to get notified that I was picked for my first job, nevertheless In another inverview (after I left that job) I was told right away that I was selected and started training that very same day, crazy! also I´ve gotten rejected that same day, been told they´ll call me back but never received a call back, and even received calls from places after months of the interview telling me to go, but I was already working somewhere else and had to say no to them. There are so many factors involved
The same thing happened to me. They got back to me after a few days and told me to join them. Then after spending sometime in that place, ( a month) they told me, that nobody could train me for the position since they have no time!! Its crazy, and whats sad about this is that I rejected other applications just because of this. Turns out they wanted minimal pay for their workers so they kind of, offer a part time job at the meantime, and thats what they did to me. I didnt go back after. It was so crazy!!
I just had a final round panel interview almost three weeks ago. Last Thursday, I messaged the recruiter asking for an update and they answered back within 45 minutes. The recruiter said that the hiring manager wants to hold off on making decisions because a couple more candidates were in their final rounds. Then I got an apology. So, that can also be happening behind the scenes!
You have a very magnetic and authentic personality and you have the power to make people feel good about themselves; thank you for being real! I think the thing that racks my brain the most is wondering if the employer already have their candidate chosen, no matter how good I was, and just going through the required motions of interviewing everyone else as a required formality. I know that my present employer does this.
Thank you. Thanks for rocking with me and staying engaged. You are correct. Many employers will interview knowing that they have someone in mind for a role. However, I've also seen employers do this and then a rockstar candidate (that they couldn't ignore) interviewed for the role and landed it. Just become the solution to their problem and you will be seen as highly competitive.
I used to work at cherry Orchard centre years ago. Bob McClarnon was a job seekers man. He got me a job in the Croydon council as a mail room operative way back in the early 90's in Tabener House.Robert McCauley was retiring soon, & Bob got me that job& I'm still here even now
Hi Jennifer. I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Male. Japanese-American. So, when you talk about "underrepresented populations" and "diversity," it really resonates with me. While the experiences of African-Americans and Japanese-Americans are very different, and very SIMILAR at the same time, your ideas regarding "minorities" really resonates with me!
Just wanted to say , thank you from the bottom of my heart!!❤️❤️ you are really impacting people in a positive way! I just got the job offer I’ve been wanting and for the first time , I actually negotiated my salary! And it worked wow!! Thanks you are a blessing!!
Great pointers. My interview process has been interesting and now seems lengthy up to this point. I received a call last week telling me I was chosen for the position. Now their in the process of negotiating my salary request. 🤞 All I can do is be patient. I went thru 3 interview phases: First one with HR, 2nd with the director, third with the department staff.
@@talitaavanessian9213 Hi, yes I got the job. Been here 2 years now, now I’m ready to move on. Best of luck on receiving the position. Claim it, it’s yours
The employeer appeared 3 weeks after to schedule another meeting and five minutes before the virtual interview they called me to cancel it, because they prefered to have the meeting in person. I think is not very professional to cancel in the last minute, that could be considered as a red flag. Then, they wonder why they can't find good candidates. If they don't respect your time they won't respect you at all.
I applied for my current job 6 years ago in February, they called me in July (same year) for an interview, and hired me the following October. It's the best job I've ever had.
It's been over a month & I still haven't gotten an offer from the hospital I interviewed at yet. I followed up with the recruiter several times, the reply was the same, "You did great! They're working diligently to get me in, etc". Said he'd follow up with me in the coming days, never did. Tough to get in contact with the guy, can't be reached by phone, only by email. Last time I followed up real quick, no reply. This hospital is known for taking a long time to hire in general.
I didn’t hear back from a community college I applied to for an adjunct faculty position for over a month after my interview. By the time they sent me an offer letter it was too late and I had already gotten another job so was like, ‘“never mind”...these hiring managers are crazy
That's Higher Education. So frustrating. Plus, hr will leave you hanging. And sometimes you have to log into their system to find out if they updated it
I think that 2 weeks is a good metric of time. Put in multiple applications and wait for the eggs to hatch. I applied for a job that was worth the wait it took around 3 weeks from when I put in the initial application. The pay was really good and the schedule was solid but it was temporary.
@@CareerSuccess I got accepted into their company now! I had my second interview on 20th May and 2 days later I got a called that I got accepted. I was surprised too that it only took 2 days to get back from them because they are a huge company (Biggest Shopping Mall in Cambodia) and the process should be complicated. I'm grateful anyway and thank you for the video.
Applying for jobs is already stressful, I know, but understanding how long the wait will be to hear back doesn't have to be a headache for you. How long did it take for you in the past to hear back after an interview?
One time I did an amazing interview it was a second interview on video that was with a panel. And after I sent a great thank you email. I never received any response to my thank you email and I didn’t hear from them for one whole year! When they reached back out to me again, a year later, they said the position was put on pause but they really loved me and wanted to know if I could come in for a f2f. I tried to make it work but it just didn’t work out for the position.
General Motors was 6 weeks. I took another job thinking I didn't get it....but I finally got the call. I've been waiting a week now ... boohoo! Waiting stinks!
This video actually encouraged me to do a follow up phone call 6 weeks later. After the thank you email was sent and after a follow up email was sent updating my reference number. Before I left the 1st interview the employer stated she would contact me if they were interested and I was the 1st to be interviewed. So when I finally worked up the nerves to call, she told me the position was filled but they are interviewing for another position that's basically the same position and that I will be contacted for that interview. So basically I got a chance at a second interview and with the same person and her boss will also be there. So I'll take this 2nd opportunity at my dream job and thank you for assuring me that the employer's get busy but I must show determination.
I just submitted my job test to the HR of my favorite company along with a thank you letter. Now it's been 3 days and I'm waiting while listening to Rolling stone's "You can't always get what you want", please wish me luck guys😂
I am used to no more than a 3 day wait. Recent interview-went through 7 levels of interview and testing. Was told I would hear from them 6 days ago. Still waiting and feeling ghosted, yet the interviews went sooo well. Frustrating.
I am glad you stuck it out for this long. My only advise to you is to continue interviewing at other companies. Unfortunately, some companies do like wasting your valuable time. I hope you get the job you want. Best of luck !!
The longest was a week but this particular one she stated 2-3 weeks. I sent a thank you follow up email and now let it be. These tips were good to think about so I’m not in my head about it.
I had the interview last year, and got a plant visit offer.. but suddenly covid lockdown and I was ghosted. 16 months later, I got a phone call for the 3rd user interview for the same position. And finally got an informal OK from the recruiter and saying they are preparing the offer immediately... and 2 weeks later.... still no news. I did follow-up, for the record. Anxious, yes definitely.
@@CareerSuccess I’ll have you know I just scored the final interview! I just found out this morning. They want me to do an 18 min virtual training on the customer service content of my choice. The job is for a corporate trainer and I’m young into my career with only 3 years experience. Your videos have helped so much! I’m so glad I got to this point. Now I get to interview off my expertise and I feel very certain I’ll get the job. My interview is scheduled for Friday this week. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes. This is a dream job for me and my family (I just got married), and we are moving from Colorado to Florida in April. Everything is perfectly aligned. I’ve been trying to get a job in Florida for 9 months now but no success. Our lease is up in April so we are moving regardless. I started watching your videos and next thing I know a dream job calls looking to hire in Tampa where we are moving, in April when we are moving and thus far your advice has helped me rise to the top in my interviews. Thank you so much!
i once got an offer at the interview and got brought into HR LOL, if i don't hear back in 2 to 4 days i start applying to other jobs and get interviews right away, i tell them i got another job if they call after a week with an offer.
Sometime it can take up from 2 weeks to 3 months. It depends on how urgent the employer needs you n budget of salary approval is ready available. It's dependent on the ceo who has the final Signature of your approved salary.
I actually went for an interview like a week ago,,,the mistake i made was forgetting to ask them when i should except a response and now i dont know weather to follow up or maybe its too soon?
I would reach out to them and ask them when they would expect to make a final decision. That's completely acceptable. Good luck to you and keep me posted! :-)
I had a phone interview and it went really well! Then the recruiter for property management called the same day to do a interview face to face. It was with the regional manager and property manager. The interview went really well! We negotiated pay and I was offered the job during the interview. Well the recruiter emailed me saying the hiring managers would like to move forward with a reference check. This was Thursday 4/7. On Friday 4/8 I left a voicemail and an email to touch base. It's now Monday 4/11. I know it hasn't been long but I'm kinda anxious due to them offering me the job and talking about scheduling a drug test, background check etc. Should I wait for them to call me?
ua-cam.com/video/R8B_w15-DWY/v-deo.html I hope this video is helpful while you wait. Your wait time has not been longer than average. Thank you for stopping by the Career Success Channel. I know it can seem like a lifetime, but reference checks and other administrative things can take more than a few days. Stay positive. If you have not heard anything, send an email stating you are still interested, and that you are inquiring about next steps.
Imagine being in an Asian country whereby ur visa get consuming and you don't have any hope of renewing ur visa , and your interviewer says i will get back to you in 3 days but waiting for long no response, send a follow up email no response huuuh so frustrating
I had my interview Monday and it's three days later I also emailed the employer and said thanks for the second interview and I'm ready to work ASAP and I'm dedicated and he said thank you I'll let u know 🙄
I had an interview with a great company this Tuesday and I suspect they just started interviewing for the job; i intend to follow up next week, if I don’t get a reply, I’ll assume I’m out and move on. Recruiters and hiring managers are human and they “ghost” as well.
Six months too long? I didn't hear back for this period of time when I got a call asking if I wanted the job. Of course, I had already taken another job. Asking when you will hear back is a good indicator of how well the interview went. If they seem vague about this, it means no!
@@CareerSuccess What's your advice for applying for a job traditionally given to females? I have an interview for a job in the radiology department in a local hospital.
Hi, I had this interview by Skype, it’s duration was 40 min. The person who did the interview, asked me what I was looking in a manager, that I would be doing this and that etc. Told the great things about the company etc. it was actually a good conversation and he said he would give me an update on Wednesday, today is Thursday hahaha. I know not that long but I sent him an email asking for an update. The company it’s huge anyways. The only thing was: I said, you seem to be easy going and straight forward(he would be my manager) he said: yes, I’m but I also want the right team. What do you think?
Hi there! Thank you for commenting! I need a bit more clarification on what you're asking. What do I think about what - his reply? If so, I will need more context in order to give you a proper response.
Career Success thank you for your reply! Yes, that what I meant. But anyways they never called me back or reply at all. So I did not insist. It was very unusual as I was excepting at least “Not successful” reply. But it is what it is. Thank you again

hi im 18 i got interview at publix last tuesday and still didnt get a call back because he told me he be having vacation but im just scared he will forgot about me
Hi there! Did they give you a timeline of when they would get back to you? It's perfectly acceptable to follow-up with a phone call to ask about the status of the position.
I had my final interview last Friday, September 18th. At the end of my interview, I asked “what are the next steps of the interview process” and they said that they’re still interviewing and they’ll reach out by the end of next week (which meant this week, the 25th) So its been a week and the company still didn’t get back to me. If I don’t hear anything by Monday, should I just assume that I didn’t get the job?
As a rule I normally give the company between 5 or 10 days to let me know yes or no. I may email them as courtesy. Depends how desparate I want role. The last step interviews I have had were over the phone. Got result within the hour, sadly didn't work out for me.
1 month ago, I had an interview with good company. I think, the interview was excellent which my profession and backgrounds suits for position. I have already sent my request for receiving news. Human resourses department answered me, "we will be sure to let you know as soon as we do". It is taking a lot and now, I am waiting results of the interview. What dou think what will be next?
Thanks for your question. One of the best things to do when you are talking to your point of contact is to get an idea of when they anticipate making a decision. From there, wait 24 hours and if you've not heard from them, check in. Say, "I was told that a decision would be made by yesterday; I was following up to check on the status of this role and my potential candidacy." Let me know if you have any other questions!
@@CareerSuccess Thank you very much, your advice lifted my spirits. 4 days ago, I wrote a letter to the HR manager saying "Kindly reminder!" and the answer came "I will reach out when we have made a decision." I couldn't get in touch when I called. I'm not disappointed and I'm still looking for a job.
So I got a job offer after a week and a day. Felt like they weren’t going to offer. I just finished a final interview for a position I’m very qualified for but not sure if they’re going to make an offer. I emailed the recruiter after the final interview the next day and received a response within 30 minutes, “Thanks [Name] - we will be in touch soon with next steps, have a great Thursday!” So no time frame given but everything seemed positive. It’s been 6 days now and I’m kind of thinking they’re not going to make an offer. Question is: why do some companies take a week and others take a day to give an offer given they are the same size. And when can you assume you will get an offer after a final interview? Is there any clear cues that you know of beyond the vague body language and other common themes?
I had an interview yesterday which went super well. The hiring manager offered me the job on the spot as well and discussed salary and benefits. The recruiter updated me that they’ll release my OL a day after. Even the wait for 2 days is driving me insane!!! 🥺 I hope I receive my OL ASAP! I also need to go to therapy lol
The wait is SOOOO HARD! A couple questions… (1) Do most companies (let’s say West Coast-based tech companies for remote work) follow up via email, phone call or setting a Zoom meeting to make an offer (if you are the selected candidate)? (2) What do you do when one job made an offer, you just started and the other company (that you were interviewing with simultaneously but is larger and slower to complete the process) makes a significantly more competitive offer 2-3 weeks after you’ve already started your new job? I’d love your professional feedback and experience.
Thank you for being a part of the community! You are correct, waiting to hear back from an employer can be very hard! In reference to your first question, offers are usually delivered by a verbal phone call first. Once the verbal offer has been delivered to the candidate, the employer will follow up with a written offer either via email or direct mail. That is standard. For your second question, this is a tough situation and it happens quite often. If (as a job seeker) I knew that I had an offer outstanding, I would have shared that with the employer who had already extended an offer to ask for more time. There's nothing wrong with asking for more time to be able to fairly consider both offers. I would have also told the second employer that I already had an offer in hand. It often speeds up the offer delivery on their part. I'm only sharing this in case you run into this again in the near future. In your current situation, just know that you have the right to choose. If the new opportunity is your dream job and you want to take, it is your choice. You have the right to be exactly where you want to be. It will be terribly inconvenient with your current employer but you have to be courageous enough to be up front and honest. To lessen the burden on your current employer, because it will be a tough situation and transition, here are some things to consider. Ensure you are leaving things professionally by giving notice and going to your supervisor right away to share that you have accepted an external offer. Explain what occurred and why you are making this decision. Make sure that your current employer knows that you are willing to do all that you can to aid in a proper transition. Good luck to you. Keep me posted.
A job I interviewed for told me that I'd expect to hear back sometimes this week. I had my final interview two weeks ago, and they contacted my references last week. However, the hiring manager did not respond to my emails. I'm not sure what to expect and I'm feeling more stressed.
So I applied for a job. About 2 weeks later I get a call back great. They send the offer letter, background & drug test inf. About a week in a half later I get the call everything is good, to come in for fingerprinting. My question is why couldn't I have did the fingerprinting at the same time as the background & drug test. Now I have to wait another week maybe two. For what if the background check was good why wouldn't the fingerprinting be good?
It was a Friday interview, and they said I can expect to hear back sometime next week or the week after... they explained there's a lot of vacations happening... I hope I hear back this week :\
I usually pray to the Lord to give it ti me if it s suitable 4 me,else block it n opem new doors 4 me.He sees a lot more things incldg office pol, wicked senior mgt etc
WOW! 6 months for an offer? Well, I suppose I shouldn't be so anxious waiting for my official offer. Its been about a month (Jul. 15th) since I received the verbal offer and have yet to receive the official offer. I have done interviews with about 3-4 other offices since that verbal offer has made. Hopefully, the initial job says something soon as I believe one of the others will be making me an offer pretty soon.
Hi Jenn,Hope you are doing great,My situation is kind odd, 1.Resume Selected 1st November 22, 2 Was interviewed on 4th November,22 ,It took more than 30 mins. 3.On 14th November I followed up with HR & got response exactly "You have been shortlisted. The CEO is travelling as of now. Will inform when the 2nd round of the interview will be conducted." On 22nd they asked me to provide previous company's salary slip & I provided. AGAIN LONG HAUL. On 14th January 23, again I made a follow up mail asking them to confirm just yes/no, & they responded exactly " You are a shortlisted candidate. But we have not received any clarity from the client side yet. As soon as we get clarity, will keep you posted. Please bear with us and give us some-time". Now don't understand what is happening. Show less
if they really wanted and valued you, there wouldn't be delays. they would make shit happen. you really have to ask yourself if you want to work for this company if they give you the runaround, delay their responses, and aren't fully transparent with you.

I had a job interview in September that I can say was excellent. To be exact, they did 3 interviews with me. At the end I had the last interview with the hiring manager and he offered me the position but the offer was not what I expected and I rejected it basically the pay was to little and I had more obligations. Actually it was a good experience and I told him I would be delighted to work in this company but they need to work with the offer. He told please let keep in touch I really like what you can bring to my company. Two weeks later he wrote me back and he told me to be patient that they are still working with the offer because the company entered in a hiring freeze but when it is over he will write back me again. I would like to know if someone has gone through the same thing and what should I do?
Thanks for watching the Channel, and sharing what appears to have been a great experience! Great job on securing a third interview and your confidence level of being honest about the salary. Every situation is different, but this organization has invited you to stay connected. While it is positive, it is unclear as to when the hiring freeze will end or if the role will still be filled. I suggest that you do two things: 1) Keep in touch by following up three weeks from the interview, with the contact that invited you to stay connected. 2)In the interim, use this experience to propel you to identify other opportunities that may lead to interviews and potential job offers. It sounds like you have a win-win future ahead.
I did my first interview month ago and thought i wont hear back fr them. But after 2 weeks they call me for second interview, after that interview (which for me has a positive impact for them) they asked for 3 references. They send them email the next day and they replied to that email. Its already been one week since i didnt hear back from them. Its just sad since my references also put time into answering their questions. Do you think they have another candidates and im not the final one?

It took 2 months after an offer from the employer I work for now and have been there for 5yrs now and had 3 different roles there. Great company and awesome leadership.

If an employer really wants to hire you, they're not going to wait weeks to get back to you. Generally if I wanted to hire a person, I call them a few hours after the interview or within two days. I wouldn't want to lose the applicant to a competitor.
Agreed but unfortunately sometimes the higher ups delay it
So you don't waste time.
I have been contacted late for job offers it's reasonable to put in many applications and wait a week.

I agree it’s crazy they think you’re going to wait around for months. Clearly not we need to get a job many times and will accept something else
I had to wait 3weeks till I finally got a schedule to work just be patient 🙌 🙏
I always try to interview for multiple jobs at a time. Until the offer letter has been signed, I am still available and have options.

Yes! A signed offer is the only sure offer!
Hi,
How long did it take for them to get back to you?
Congrats!
its crazy because the jobs i got interviewed in, ive never followed up or really cared to get a job at those companies but still got a job offer. But the company that I tried my best in interviews I ended up failing
Abundance mindset that’s why

I waited 1 month to get notified that I was picked for my first job, nevertheless In another inverview (after I left that job) I was told right away that I was selected and started training that very same day, crazy! also I´ve gotten rejected that same day, been told they´ll call me back but never received a call back, and even received calls from places after months of the interview telling me to go, but I was already working somewhere else and had to say no to them.
There are so many factors involved
Thank you for sharing your experiences! I appreciate you.
“Don’t be upset if you don’t hear back” like ok?? At least give me a single “no” via text or something 😂
This makes me feel so much better about my wait!
I am SO happy to hear that. Have you also followed-up after your interview?

How long the employer give the job and appointment letter
Great pointers. My interview process has been interesting and now seems lengthy up to this point. I received a call last week telling me I was chosen for the position. Now their in the process of negotiating my salary request. 🤞 All I can do is be patient. I went thru 3 interview phases: First one with HR, 2nd with the director, third with the department staff.
I'm proud of you for making it this far! Keep me posted & good luck to you! Congratulations on the offer.

If they don't respect your time they won't respect you at all.
oh my grace! you're words are literally inspirational and so positive! you are great at this!
I appreciate you. Thank you for your feedback! Anything I can help you with?
I applied for my current job 6 years ago in February, they called me in July (same year) for an interview, and hired me the following October. It's the best job I've ever had.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
It can be so frustrating when it takes that long. Thank you for sharing & for being here!
I didn’t hear back from a community college I applied to for an adjunct faculty position for over a month after my interview. By the time they sent me an offer letter it was too late and I had already gotten another job so was like, ‘“never mind”...these hiring managers are crazy
That can be a frustrating experience. Did you find a job you are happy with?
That's Higher Education. So frustrating. Plus, hr will leave you hanging. And sometimes you have to log into their system to find out if they updated it
The longest I had to wait was 5 1/2 months for the current mid-management role that I am in!
Yes, I recall having to wait six months, myself. But it was worth the wait!
The beauty of your heart reflects in your eyes 😊
I think that 2 weeks is a good metric of time. Put in multiple applications and wait for the eggs to hatch. I applied for a job that was worth the wait it took around 3 weeks from when I put in the initial application. The pay was really good and the schedule was solid but it was temporary.

The job I have now I heard back from them within two days, but maybe because it’s a nonprofit and the pay sucks

Hi there! Did they give you a timeline of when they would get back to you? It's perfectly acceptable to follow-up with a phone call to ask about the status of the position.
Hii! What's the status now? It's been a year.
I had my final interview last Friday, September 18th. At the end of my interview, I asked “what are the next steps of the interview process” and they said that they’re still interviewing and they’ll reach out by the end of next week (which meant this week, the 25th) So its been a week and the company still didn’t get back to me. Hii! Did you get it or not?
Yes I see this is from a year ago but did you get the job?

As a rule I normally give the company between 5 or 10 days to let me know yes or no. I may email them as courtesy. Depends how desparate I want role. The last step interviews I have had were over the phone. Got result within the hour, sadly didn't work out for me.
Thank you for sharing!

my last interview was 2 weeks ago , and she told me to give it a few days
At least you didn't get ghosted......not yet, anyways.
Described my experience exactly
So I got a job offer after a week and a day. Felt like they weren’t going to offer. I just finished a final interview for a position I’m very qualified for but not sure if they’re going to make an offer.
I emailed the recruiter after the final interview the next day and received a response within 30 minutes, “Thanks [Name] - we will be in touch soon with next steps, have a great Thursday!”
So no time frame given but everything seemed positive.
I'm so proud of you! You've got this.
The wait is SOOOO HARD! A couple questions…
(1) Do most companies (let’s say West Coast-based tech companies for remote work) follow up via email, phone call or setting a Zoom meeting to make an offer (if you are the selected candidate)?
My job I had before it took 2 weeks cuz it was in the summer
Had interview on Wednesday, Easter break now , anxious and overthinking
It was a Friday interview, and they said I can expect to hear back sometime next week or the week after... they explained there's a lot of vacations happening... I hope I hear back this week :\

@@CareerSuccess Thank you for the reply.🙏
On Monday I have the interview and I’m waiting ( post 2 day ).
Hi Joanna! First of all, congratulations on your first interview! I am proud of you.
Second, have you watched my video on how and when to follow up? Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/5-MZuYCkweY/v-deo.html
Also, one week is often not necessarily a sign you are not their choice. Have you heard back since? Keep me updated!
did you get the job? it sounded positive
In one of my jobs, I had call interview then they disappear for 6 months and back later, I had another face to face interview and long process, in overall it take 9 months to get the job.
when she says "the company will take as long as they need to to get back to you", im like checking out of this video lol
Waiting time. 🙏🏼🤞🏼
