SO glad I found this video and you guys! I’ll be placing a order shortly🎉🎉🎉
How about posting instructions on how to use the adhesive paper?
I used 320*/280* 30 seconds. Then I find out it should be 45 seconds. The patches can be easily pulled off. Huge bummer.
@@matt75hooper280 top 320 bottom for 45 seconds are the correct settings for a dual platen press. If pressed properly being able to peel the patch is practically impossible.
The instructions are on our website at www.lonestaradhesive.com
@@LoneStarAdhesive Agreed. I only wish the instructions came with the sheet of adhesive. The roll has your LoneStar emblem on the cover sheet. Merely put the Instructions right under that emblem patch. I will reorder the Adhesive but my God was I pissed yesterday.
@@LoneStarAdhesive I found the Instructions on the FAQ page. It really needs to be under the Durra-Bull Application Instructions & in the shipping package. Thank you
Do you have a video that tells me about your adhesive? Proper use, does it stay put, can you wash the hat?
Wait now it makes sense. I purchased custom patches from Hydbond from April -July. Then another batch in October but they said they weren’t doing them anymore. Your channel has been up for that amount of time. 🤔 so I’m guessing you were making my patches ? (Ankorhedz) if so I’ll definitely be ordering leather sheets from you. My Omtech MF1220 just arrived today. 🙌🏼
I was doing the patches up until June. That’s when I left and started LoneStar Adhesive.
@@LoneStarAdhesive Got it. 👍🏼 Well you’re the one that got me on this awesome product. Thank you sir. I’ll definitely show some support and place an order. And many blessings to your business 🙏🏼
Had to find video for instructions, which side to use. Would be great idea to put instructions on adhesive with orders.
I’m working on that as we speak. Thanks for the input.
No instructions back then because they didnt know the settings themselves. Patches were falling off caps all over the place.
Are you going to do a video show you using your sheets of adhesive?
Yes they are coming soon! If you have any questions reach out to me at info@lonestaradhesive.com
Are they double sided adhesive
@@edwardolivares5038 it’s a thermal activated adhesive film with a carrier sheet attached.
What resolene do you recommend. They have so many options.
This is an Amazon link to the resolene I use. a.co/d/bmF1FxU
Do I have to cut the shape of the patch separate of the patch, or can I apply together and cut they both on the laser?
We apply adhesive to materials and then customers use a laser to engrave and cut their own patches. It can work either way, especially if you have preexisting patches (like PVC or embroidery).
Why did your name change from hydbond to Lonestar? I thought it was weird you weren’t the one in videos for hydbond anymore and your old videos went there anymore.
I was thinking the same thing and I started buying a lot of custom patches from Hydbond. But this guy was the one that got me on the adhesive 🤯
After being applied to leather.. Would it attach to glass or meatal or plastic?
It will but is not a permanent bond
@@matt75hooperif you’d like to reach out to our email, I’ll help you work through your issue. I have answered your emails before about debossed leather, but you seem quite content to keep commenting here, so feel free to share your settings!
@@S_Ferguson I apologize. I am just so pissed there were no instructions with the adhesive order.
This is going to be a very expensive miscue.....
does this work on PVC patches with no backing?
It works extremely well with PVC patches.
