Does the dryer work well?
it damp because that section is the spinner to wring the water out of the clothing, you then have to put it to dry in a regular dryer or hang dry. Very useful in the city especially in the winter when you don't want to go to the laundromat
I think it cleans better if you give them a spin after the wash to get excess soapy water out and then put them back in the wash tub for the rinse. Then spin again.

Very interesting. Great video. Short and sweet and very informative on how to use. I use to do clothes at the mat and the dryer for this machine resembles an extractor at the mat. Extractors spin clothes at high speeds to remove excess water to save money on drying.
I purchased one and it took two months to receive it. When it was delivered my building manager says he's going to evict me if I use it..I recently brought a small 5 feet cubic freezer..they told I couldn't have the freezer in my apartment . It's a pandemic and I'm a senior citizens...I've been a resident of 10 years and never late paying my bills... I'm just looking out for myself due to the covid-19 pandemic...they are great to have. Use a older compact washer years ago... They are great and convenient to have... Times have changed!!!

It would be easy to conceal in a box, tote or closet. It has a lower capacity but it washes and spins too. I'm 61 and I hate lugging heavy loads of laundry to my basement back and forth. I just wash a lot by hand in the sink or tub and spin dry them with my Panda spin dryer. It is not a tumble dryer that gets things completely dry but the machine spins things more than my basement washer and things dry really quick on hangers in the bathroom. I have no idea why you can't have a freezer in your apartment. They don't make noise. Perhaps utilities are included in the rent and they don't want to pay the $25/year electric that a small freezer might cost.
Just got one . It’s pretty great! Definitely beats going to the laundromat. It’s not loud at all. If you have a lot of laundry it’ll take awhile but if you manage to keep up on it it’s a great help!

I’m so fortunate to have an apartment with washer and dryer hook ups and have a great full-size washer/dryer set but I’ve always wanted one of these for tiny loads and undies .
I bought a similar gadget and tried it and love it. I live in a studio and don’t like spending $30-40 a month on the laundromat. That all adds Up!

I'm looking to buying this exact model of washer dryer combo for my small apartment, we have washer dryers on all three floors but I have never liked doing my laundry where everyone else does theirs too so I've been looking for the right one. Thank you for doing this video review it helps a whole lot seeing and hearing the washer dryer combo before I make the big buy. (Big buy fir me because I was laid off my job due to family emergency and covid19, so I have a small fixed income)

It's so worth it. You no longer have to go to the lobby laundry room (people going through your garments).........and you can do your wash any time of choice (even 3am).

This has been the best investment for me this year. I caught up with so much laundry! I use my washer to was a few loads three take it to the laundry to dry. Cost affective. Spins better than the washing machine at the laundry

I live in a one bedroom with my two boys i was wondering if it works well and how much a load and how many times it works or does it dry good
@@jvsalas6915 It holds quite a bit on the washer side. The spin side, not so much. It don't dry clothes, it's just to spin the water out. They will come out damp like a regular washer. You'll have to hang them to dry or they also have a portable closet dryer, if you don't have access to a regular dryer.

Our washing machine broke at home and I bought this type of portable washing machine. Long story short, we used it while we waited for a home replacement model for about a week and it held up. Thank you for the demo, it really helped out.
You can still use the portable washer for if you want to do a small load and save on your water bill

I just bought one of these, I love it, it doesn't dry, but spins most of the moisture out and doesn't take long to hang dry. We use it in our RV and for swim wear and smaller loads of laundry. Other wise we use our regular machine. Worth the money! You can purchase them in different wash sizes, they rate the size by clothes weight. My will wash 10 lbs of clothes, they come larger and smaller.
How is affecting your electricity?
This washer is awesome! The spinner to dry the cloths you only need like 2 minutes cause what ever water that comes will come out in that time frame. Easy to use. Just remember to turn the Nob back from drain to wash I forgot a few times.

I currently have this exact same washing machine since June 2020. I use it about once or twice a week. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! 10 OUT OF 10 I RECOMMEND!!! There is a slight hassle with it not fitting many clothes in it at once because if you put too many the inside will not rotate, therefore it will take longer to do ALL your clothes. This machine needs gravity to drain, so as long as you have a high enough table for it to drain into a bucket or tub then you should be fine. You have many different options to add water to the inside- using a shower head that has a hose or bucket. It does make a good amount of noise though. I have not received any complaints from neighbors, so that's why I don't do my laundry no later than 730pm. This surely beats going to the laundromat on 90 degree day or a 30 degree day. The super awful part is that it does not fit cat beds, comforter blankets, coats, or pillows. Those items I take to the laundromat because a bigger machine is needed.

I need a small one for when we remodel our old shed. it’s all supposed to be one large room (accept for the bathroom ofc😂) kinda like a studio apartment and I felt like this would save some space!

I was wondering what people who are mobile were doing for laundry. I've seen very few, if any, share there RV/Skoolie/Van builds with a washer dryer. I did see one converted bus, which was much bigger than I would want, have a full-size washer and dryer. It does beat having to go to a laundromat. Thanks for sharing.

I have used both liquid and powder, they both work great. Yes I have wash 4 bath towels but since the dryer is smaller, I dry 2 at a time.

I have this washer/dryer. Where a family of 7 and the trick to the washer is fill it up. Then split the load in half for the dryer. So there’s 2 dry cycles per load. We have a large drying rack so I can do 3/4 big size loads a day. By a load I mean 5 complete outfits (bloomers, socks, trousers and blouses) from my kids. I also put the machine on 15 and not 12 because of the amount.
Thanks for the video! Just got one and I love it! However I see in the instructions you have to clean a lint filter but unclear how to do that.. when I open the piece inside the washing unit I do not see a filter. Any advice?

Yeah, so the washer part was awesome but my dryer didnt work at all. 😪 so in had to jus run the cycle again without water. Then hand ring out. Turned it back in
never thought of putting this into my rv shower. ty. !! brillian. ps. i love my costway portable washer and spin dryer. never have to seek out laundromats or quarters. :)

Oh yes. Washers of this type are definitely worth it, bcuz they are like toy washers that does some serious effective laundry, is super affordable, and enables everyone to have a washer where washers in their rentals are not allowed.

I just purchased the same machine for $78.00 online at Temu it's a really good machine. I personally dont like sharing the washers in my building so it's nice to have, now time to buy the mini dryer I saw. I swear they have EVERYTHING.

I have one of these washing machines. I bought it three years ago, and it still works very well. My only problem is that I cannot find the lint filter and have been trying to replace it. It is not easy to find parts for this machine. But I would absolutely buy another one when this one is worn out.
I have the same problem. After I last used the machine and left out the lint filter to dry, it disappeared and now I can't use the machine. I contacted Costway and they don't sell it separately. I am going to have to buy another machine because I love it so much even though mine still works perfectly. I just can't use it without the lint filter.
Use a old panty hose and tie it around the end of the hose that should catch your lint

I have a question! I'm going on 5 years of going to the laundry mat 🙄 so I'm desperate for a machine like this and your comment of it's lasting quality has sold me on this one. I'm just worried about killing the motor by overloading it. How many articles of clothing do you typically wash in a cycle? # of jeans, shirts, sheets, towels.... washed in one given load? Thanks for your help!

Hello, I have a question about this machine's lint catcher. I was reading the instructions and it says there is a "Filtrate Netting", I am assuming this is the lint catcher, but it really didn't do anything. Can you advise if yours was just a small plastic rectangular basket looking item or if it also came with a mesh insert or something of the sort?

Curious question.. can’t you just use the dryer for an extra 5 mins after or even another 5 mins to make sure it’s dry when you use the spin setting on it?

Great video and review. Thank you so much. I think I'm going to buy one of these for my condo. My friend recommended this one to me, as we have a public laundry room and have to pay to wash and dry clothes. I'm blind so I'm asking this next question for a reason, because i obviously can't see what this machine looks like. I'm assuming by the sound of this washer and based on other reviews I've seen this has dials? If it does, I can make it accessible with Braille labels or bump dots so I can mark cycles and times in increments. I also worry that the washer and dryer in our laundry room won't be accessible. If it's a touch screen, I can't use it. I really want one of these costways. Thanks in advance for answering my question, and once again great review. I gave this video a thumbs up. Delores Erin, I use to be blind, you will need to have someone help you with setting this up and also with the drain pump and making sure it doesn't backup water or flood areas. Other then that it's pretty easy to use, someone would just have to show you the dials for the washer and spinner part. Hope you can get one :)

Got one for my son and it does the job! However, the fill hose is pretty much worthless so he fills it up with a 5 gallon bucket and the drain hose is only about 2 feet long so he has to suction it to his tub, but like I said. Does the job and cleans them clothes
I love my costway washer machine its a life saver when u aint got no car and the closest laundry matt is 5 miles away and the closest bus stop is 2miles away and taking a uber or taxi is very exspensive where im from and your on a fixed monthly income and just cant afford none of those things i just mentioned. I bought the 21# size and I love it. I have osteoarthritis in my knees which makes it very difficult for me to take laundry to the basement machines. This machine makes the task of doing laundry a lot less painful and more convenient. I have it by the utility sink in the garage and use a garden hose to fill the washer. In addition to liquid detergent, I add a small amount of Dawn and about 1/4 cup white vinegar to the wash. The Dawn helps remove body oils and the vinegar aids in removing lint from the clothes. Make sure to put clothes thru a rinse cycle before using the spin dryer. I hang the clothes up to finish drying outside. My electric bill has decreased quite a bit with use of this machine.
I have this for my family of 10!! And it work perfect for our clothes.

I just used mine for the first time. It seems to work ok but I put that little internal lid in on top of the clothes when I was spinning them. I put too much clothes in and it shook. When I opened the spinner, the internal lid was...gone. I spun the rest of the clothes in two batches and it seems ok. I am a bit concerned about socks getting lost in there
What kind of power plug it use or have,will plug in to a regular outlet....
