Portable dryers
I wish they wouldnt call it a dryer. It’s a spinner. The clothes are still wet when you finish spinning them. You still have to put them in a dryer or hang them on a line.
EXACTLY!!
The spinner works great, the clothes dry faster!
Try to use hair dryer inside 😂
True. However, if you have space- there are mini portable clothes dryers too.
all five products?
Had that exact Giantex washer. It only lasted about a year but definitely paid for itself by not having to go to the laundromat.
Iv'e heard they don't have a long life. I was expecting that to come up in the list of "Cons". In the customer review I'm always reading that they break down in a short amount to time, and the customer service is NOT good. I really want one of these, but I think I'm going to avoid the Giantess.
I had a 26 lb portable washing machine for two years until I gave it away. I loved that thing. Mine had the electric drain pump. For good measure, after each use of my machine, I would lift my machine up over the edge of my bathtub and run the drain pump to ensure that all of the water drained out. The pump works great but can only do so much as gravity is still needed to empty all of the water out. It wasn't that big of a deal and was very worth it.
Which brand did you have?
i bought myself the Kuppet Twin Tub almost 2 years ago. i live in a small apt and i am single so yes. this one is great for me... i love it!!!
They should be eventually called Extractors...right now, they should be called Spinner-Dryer-Extractors as this concept is new to many people. The higher RPMs these machines have, the more water gets extracted out, allowing clothes still needing a hang dry or ( portable) clothes dryer...cuts down considerably on dry (and wringing from handwashing!). Especially for thick, winter socks, sweaters and sometimes towels.
yeah I think the wording is confusing but what you said was perfect.
@@delphiniapickett2934 portable twin tub, mini twin tub. I don`t think any of machines in the video had a dryer, but they had spinning function? It is not a new concept, just a light weight version of them.
I agree, because when you say dry, I expected to be dried, not been very well to almost dry, but still not technically Jay that’s the confusion with all of this because I need some thing that drives as well not spin dries
It would have been useful to mention the disadvantage of the gravity drain. Such washers must be raised above the drain exit.
There's a new product coming out called Eeva. It has an actual dryer. It's about half the size of these, however. I'm looking at alternatives, as it's expensive.
@@tracysemonik7040 If you're just one person, I can totally recommend a portable washer. I used to have one and stuck it into my bathtub and used an outdoor extension cord to power it.
If you're more than one person, you're better off using a real washer.
Base model I found at walmart was 200-ish dollars. If you're not prepared to spend at least that much, you're better off with a real washer.
Interesting video! You can also fill the washer tub by keeping the machine next to the tub and switching out the showerhead and machine water hose when you do the laundry. Fast and easy.
All of these washing machine does not have a dryer in them. It spins the water out of your colthes. You still have to dry them. I have one. And real game changer
An easy fix for that is to just cycle dry them twice
@@xXMasterJ360Xx it doesn't have that. There is no dryer on these washing machines. It only spins the water out. There is no fixing to it
If you don’t have space in bathroom, my advice is to put it on top of a moving dolly with wheels and put it near the patio/porch sliding door, that way you can just drain the water outside by opening the door slightly. Moving it to the kitchen sink or nearest water source is super easy with the dolly no lifting required. For rinse, I suggest putting the clothes in the spin bucket, and turn on with running water through the inlet for a min to get rid of detergent.
It'd be nice if each machine was compared by each option of each machine; compare total clothes weight in wash tub, measurements of the whole size of machine, ETC........
Got one of those. They are definitely way much better to use than washing clothes by hand over a sink or over a bath tub. The final spin is impressive, leaving the clothes almost dry, and definitely not dripping - at least with the one I've got.
Yeah but not everyone can even afford one if these either so they have to still wash by hands. And it's a lie, this is not a washer n dryer, this is just a washer with spinning -cyle like ringing/rinsing
Are they worth it???
@@-AnonymousUser Yes
How much? And can you recommend a good brand
I love using my Compact washer. I use it mostly for my clothes that I don't want damaged by the larger washer. It works great except for the short drain hose I wish it was a least 6ft long.
How much and what brand?
I heard the main complaint .. I wonder if there's something like an adapter and you could clamp it. I read about other reviews about how long the hose is that it's not long enough
@@delphiniapickett2934 my husband created an adapter for me and now I have a extra long hose so I can drain the water into a shower. No more problems!
a long hose can be purchased on amazon for these machines , I just ordered one 6 foot
Get a longer drain hose!
I have had the super deal washer under a different name for about 5 years now, The claim that the clothes are ready to put on after spinning is wrong they are about 95% dry but you still need to hang or place the clothes in a dryer to dry them. I have a 110v compact dryer that I use with this machine.
Do you have a video comparing just the different models of 26 lb capacity portable washers?
All of them are the same. Except the Kuppet that has an automatic drain pump.
Because my mom is a bit on the older side, I had to actually buy a portable automatic washing machine which washes and dries without the need of touching the clothes in the process. Its twice as expensive as the washer dryer combo like in the video but considering the convenience, its worth the investment. Plus most clothes that came out of it just needs to air dry for about an hour or so and its almost ready to use.
Notice how they don't show you the problem of draining the water. The unit has to be higher than whatever drain source you can figure out. That's a big problem with these. Also, be aware that their definition of "dryer" is actually just a spinner.
can you explain higher like when they hook it up to a tub I'll hook it up to the Sea in the bathroom or hooked up to the kitchen and trying to figure out what you said thank you
Just put it on your bathroom floor or tub. This is what I do.
The narrator keeps talking about a washer and dryer. These are washers with spinners! Not dryers they still come out damp and you need to hang them up or put them into a dryer
Twin tubs are so much easier. Hint: get a super amp extension cord, and shake the water out of the drain tube. They last about a year and half.
What? Why?
After spinning your clothes, hang your laundry and use a dehumidifier in the humid months. In the winter, if the air is dry, just hang dry.
Do an extra spin if need to be.
I had one of these, mine last 2 years and I brought a panda automatic
what is a panda automatic?
I am planning to buy an automatic washer dryer. What kind of panda is yours? Load capacity, exact brand, does it have complete dryer, etc. Thanks.
So does the SUPERDEAL actually dry the clothes? You say that the clothes are ready to wear, or ready to fold but then later in the vid you said that all the washer/dryers put out damp clothing that need to be hung dry or ironed which is it? Also I just bought the Auertech and the clothes are more then damp, it sucks and the hoes is too short and the nozzle size does not fit standard faucets. I would remove it from this list.
misleading title about "dryer" thing.
Do they sell these washers in Europe? I have been looking for one but haven't been able to find one.
I love mine , it saves a lot of time.
How much and what brand?
@@maryyuen4794 I bought a zokop portable nearly two years ago and it was only 300.00. It has 10 cycles. It washes , spins , air dry spins. It hold about 9 gallons of water. It really cleans.
yeah if I spent $300 I like one that lasts more than 2 years. if the company has the option to buy another motor easily to replace if I would be amazing just fine pull another one. if you could buy extended warranty and who knows some of us just can't carry those heavy washer and dryers in the apartment cuz we moved and I don't like dealing with those big metal things
@@delphiniapickett2934 right.
These machines are like a conventional washer only manual. It isn’t a dryer, it’s a spinner just like the spin cycle on a conventional machine. So you wash, spin, rinse, spin like a large machine. You spin the soapy water out, then rinse in the wash side, and spin again
That is so cool! I’m planning for an uprade.
Europe has been selling washer:dryer combos for centuries.
How long is power cord?
I bought and paid for one and never got them I saw on Facebook there is a investigation going on for fraud
All five of these are the same thing. They've only just been tweaked a little bit by the different manufacturers. None of them are dryers, I have one that falls under number five and they are all spinners not dryers.
It is misleading to call this a washer / DRYER. It does not dry the clothes. The wet wash has to be moved from the left tub to the right tub which spins out the excess wate,r but the laundry is still damp, and has to be air dried on a rack or a dryer.
They don't account for rinsing...
it is NOT a dryer but a washer with the spinner on the side
Questions I have are: What are the dimensions? Does one double sheet fit? How much does it weigh?
They're about 2' wide, 1 1/2' deep and 2'tall and yes fit 1 double sheet. Weighs from 16-28 lbs, depending on size.
@@joltjolt5060 Thank you for that information. I have 1 more question, if you will permit me. Are these washers on rollers? I appreciate you taking your time to answer my questions. I am grateful.
@@marjoriegoodwin2993 No, but lightweight and therefore easy to move.
@@niccidee782 Thanks Nicci.
@@marjoriegoodwin2993 wheels are easy to pick up from a hardware store
We’re here to find a "2022" Best Apartment/Camping Portable Dual 1 Load Washing Machine with Spin Dryer.
If you’re between 5’0”-6’0”, 150lbs-164lbs and medium to largely built… How many articles of clothing, can you wash at a time, please- in either of them?
Im shocked you didnt put PANDA IN THIS REVIEW. THEY ARE TOP OF THE LINE PORTABLES
Any portable washer and dryer , cheaper and smaller options on amazon with the same quality under 30 dollars?
what do you mean is it the one that's small like a basket size? those good bath bombs felt like the bend a lot but if I could do a little bit at a time. that would be great I don't trust the public washer and dryers. and my son who's 6'1 I don't mind washing one or two jeans by the time which is rare.
I do have to correct a statement about being able to wash and dry clothes at the same time. You actually cannot do that because the drain setting is supposed to be on while using the spin dryer so all of your wash water would drain out. I guess you could go against the manufacturer and run the spin dryer without the drain setting on but, I wouldn't recommend it.
I never have the drain open while spinning and it has never caused a problem.
@@jessicaoakes6173 That's great. It's just not recommended by the manufacturer to do so.
@@Voshana My owner's manual does not say anything about leaving the drain open while spinning, however it does say to spin your clothes before rinsing and I haven't seen many people do that.
@@jessicaoakes6173 that's great
@@jessicaoakes6173I know right! In some you tube reviews, I have seen some ppl just extract the soapy water and hang their laundry to dry.😂😂
It’s not a dryer on the other side it’s a spinner and it does bring your clothes really well but not to the point of being completely dry so it’s not a washer dryer combo washer with the spinner on the side
I don' get what advantage of these type of machine r- I am intersted in automatic compact washer smaller verzion of the big washer
Are these machines capable of washing towels as well?
My grandmother had something like these (many years ago so an older model) but she did everything in them. Even blankets (one at a time mind you). I'm planning on getting one very soon. I think they should handle towels just fine.
Yes but probably only 3 or 4 at a time.
They are very convenient to have. They work better then your regular washing machine but to call the spinner a dry is completely false. You can not wear your clothes straight out of the spinner NOT dryer because your clothes are still WET.
Do any of these dry the cloths completely also have you. Wash jeans
No. It’s like the spin cycle, meaning the clothes are still wet or damp, but not dripping wet. One would still need to put the clothes in the dryer or hung up to dry.
Wait… On # 5, how is she using that machine on the floor and not in the bathtub or shower? And #1 is Kuppet? The Kuppet has boat loads of bad reviews on Amazon. And not bcuz it doesn’t function well, but bcuz the automatic drain pump gives out rather quickly. The Kuppet is the only one that can actually be used on the floor, with it’s long automatic drain hose that can dump right into the toilet. But that pump gives out fast. Which is why these type of machines, besides Kuppet, uses the short gravity drain method, that doesn’t pump but just lets the water out. It has to be used in a bathtub or shower but it’s reliable and doesn’t give out.
I got the Kuppet and just started using it. I was wondering about the pump too. I see that when it runs out of water the pump diaphragm can be ruined if let it run dry. I will stop doing that and that should help protecting the diaphragm. Thanks for the post.
*THE RIGHT SIDE IS NOT A DRYER.* It's just a spin cycle. You will STILL need to dry your clothing!
I love it
The spinner is not a dryer. You need a clothes rack or line to do the drying. These machines are a step forward ward from my mom's ringer washer in that you take the clothes from one tub and put them in the spinner. I saw these machines in Japan, as I said before to dry the clothes you need a rack or line, a lot of Japanise use hangiing poles..
Morus has the best I've ever seen .
Do they have a washer? I only saw a dryer
it'd be nice to have a weight scale I can put a basket on top of it to make sure I'm doing the amount of weight appropriately for the machine unless they want to add one electronically as an option to buy
Wet weight is different than dry weight and zero out the scale for the basket
I have this machine and I wash I never purchased it!! It’s not what they say it is. The small side is a spinner not a dryer, it get off balanced.
these are not washer dryer combos these are washers with high spin cycles, then you have to hang them up to dry
I modified mine, ( in my travel trailer), and while it spin dries, I rigged my wife's, hair dryer, to allow hot air, into the spin basket, thus, clothes come out dry.
Please share how you did this
clever
Sounds like a fire hazard to put a hair dryer in plastic washing machine
Perhaps create a video
I was thinking of getting one and doing the same thanks for comment
Anyone remember being little seeing the misty mate commercials how they showed it being as cold and same as the air conditioner? Lmao not a dryer especially when Putting a plastic cover on the top.
I'm getting one because my washer and dryers!
sometimes are out of Order!!. Plus it cost so much!.
But most importantly when I work I found it hard to
wash my clothes because I come home later then normal. But these would probably would work! Does anyone know! If theses work well?
you know someone that uses the washer which has a spinner you can buy a portable drive it's how much loads of clothes are you piling up this is good for doing a little at a time
I think what to look for is lint collecting filter that's easy to clean out yourself, quality and how long can you use it more than 2 years? so you might have to spend more money how rough are you with it and talked about that something about it being the same level as my dream I don't get it but I'll look for further videos on many of these products
No lint filters on these products? Did not show each product washing and spinning clothes.
I think if you look in Amazon for a lint catcher in the product that would be an option to look for I get what you mean
@@delphiniapickett2934 I bought the Costway with the lint filter.💘 thank you!
Detergent pods and powdered detergents are a big no no.
It’s not e a dryer. It’s a spinner that wrings the water out of the fabric. One still needs to hang it or machine dry it in a proper DRYER.
The spin tub is NOT a dryer.
What I'm looking for is a tub that moves the clothes around not just spin in circles.
I believe there are compact washers that are front loading and may meet your needs better
what difference does it make if your clothes get clean?
Lehmans has what you want. Costly but forever purchase
These washers do not dry your clothes, they spin the excess water out and you need to hang them up to dry, or have a drying machine. I know this because i have one.
2:09 WHHAAAAAAAAAT!!! Clean dry clothing?????!!! Ready to fold, iron or put on?!!!! Sure! If you like mouldy clothes or scratching your crotch all day! It's not a dryer! Only a spinner!
That is a SPINNER on the right tub not a clothes dryer.
on any of these products or anything outside of this which one would last the longest I would not buy one that last year and breaks down unless the company has an easy replacement of the motor that could be done by a simple person
I need to wash bedding none of these will do
Just buy a regular washing machine and no dryer. Just use a dehumidifier or hang laundry outside. Just make sure to do an extra spin if you need to.
All basically the same and drainage is sometimes a problem.
Did you actually use the machines? Otherwise it's just unpaid commercials not a real review.
Dryer is a mislabel. Its more of spin strainer.
This video was created/ reviewed by someone who hasn’t even touched these machines, so the creator doesn’t understand the machines.
Your exactly right! Each one of these units are garbage and not even remotely close to the top 5 portable washers... and not 1 of these is a washer/dryer combo....😂😂😂
How much in egyptian money
60 Hertz just means its North American as opposed to 50 Hertz for European.
I youst got number 5
Did anyone get Giantex
How to drain it? terrible
IN MY VIEW
Great idea until you got to the SPINNER part. I have no interest in hanging my laundry all over my home to dry. Tacky. I want to take them out of an actual dryer, fold/hang on hangers, put my laundry away and be done with it. This product is not for me.
Tacky to dry clothes in your home.
They have drying racks.
As well as compact dryers..
Hanging clothes outside is the way to go in the summer. Saves on dryer belts.
Saves on electric.
Saves on clothes wear.
Smells better .. brightens better for whites in the sun. Good exercise.
Make a beautiful line.
With T shirts.
Paints .
Sheets.
There is Nothing tacky about air drying.
Sadly some make it a status or low level urban thing .
Which is absolutely horrible.
Just saying.
🖐️☮️
You need to add a portable dryer, which none of these videos mentions. I have a tabletop dryer I use after washing and spinning my clothes in a similar machine as this.
I heard you could buy apartment dryer have you took that out?
I understand by air drying because of pollution and the privacy of your clothes cuz I lived in the city one time with the one anchor property this was years ago and the cars drove up from the house the clothes turned spit I didn't know anything about softeners.
@@delphiniapickett2934 IN MY VIEW I decided to go with standard full size washer and dryer.
A spinner that so much smaller than the washer space. Bad engineering.
Lmafo
2:12 you do not have clean, dry cloths ready to wear. You have cleanish, damp cloths ready to hang out to dry.
It doesn’t even work that well. I regret buying it I still can return it smh
Could you tell us which brand you purchased and what you didn't like about it?
SPINNER not DRYER. Know the difference.
Very shallow reviews. More of an infomercial for the brand that sponsored you. Not credible and a waste of time.
No reason to keep watching a review about washer combos when there’s no understanding of what the word “DRY” means. This is disappointing.
Where's the review it just sounds like washing machine promotions?
This is nothing but a paid advertising site...sad.
It's not a dryer!
All of these are basically the same, with the same pros and cons. The only differences are exterior and load capacities. Not a helpful video.
I wish i kept my twin tub years ago they clean clothes better than your washing machine
Why are they calling it a dryer? It's a water extractor which takes the excess moisture out and leaves clothes significantly damp
😢 I don't know because they took my money and I got nothing
