COSTWAY Portable Washing Machine a.co/d/bh8WTMF
Collapsible Tripod Clothes Drying Rack a.co/d/hC41SSk
Oh my gosh thank you so so so much for posting this. I’m 27 and raising my 14 year old sister. Just got us into my first apartment, and had spent my last bit of money on a portable washer and dryer. I just got laid off, so when I found out the tube didn’t fit my sink I thought it was the end of the world. I wish I was creative enough to have came up with this on my own, but since I’m not, I’m super grateful you posted yours!!!
I just bought a used portable first time I used it I filled it with buckets but your idea of using the funnel and connect to the shower head was just brilliant thanks
A good tip to measure the amount of clothes to wash is to fill the spin cycle side. If they fit dry in the spinner then it won’t be too much on the washer side 👍
😃
Genius ty
Great review
You can change the direction of the drain hose.
Place the unit lying flat so that you can see the bottom. The drain hose is just tucked underneath some clamps. You can take it out of the clamp and then reattach it to the other set of clamps that are facinf towards the right. That way you dont have to bend your drain hose all the way from the left side of the unit.
GAME CHANGER with the funnel !!!! Love it
i followed your directions step by step. got my first load done and ready for the next lol thanks girl
Just an fyi here. What the manufacturer does not tell us is that the weight limits they give are for wet clothes. In order to prolong the life of the machine, you need to place about 5lbs of clothes in the wash and 3lbs in the spinner. NOTE: I forgot to mention that all the machines have water level marking: L
How do you measure how heavy your clothes are before putting them in the washer?
I usually get on the scale and pick up the clothes until I reach the weight allowed.@@itsmesteve1081
Thank you for the clarification.
Some specify how many pieces of clothing you can put in for a Load.
Just don't put in too many @ a time👍
Thank you so much. I needed this so bad. Mine been collecting dust, now I really need to use it and don't have the instructions 😁🙏🏆
Thank you for sharing!!! I NEEDED this!!!
Great help!!!
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
If you attach the hose to the water inlet, you can rinse the clothes so much easier. Allow the water to run about 1 min. or until the water runs clean, spin the remaining 4 mins. So much easier, and saves time and water.
Thank you! I love that your creative figuring things out with a funnel and hair ties. I'm like you getting creative.
You're overloading it. For best results for the speed to go round agitating. Put less laundry in, you'll find it turns alot faster and washed better for great results. Its struggling to move with how many heavy things you have inside, eventually that will break the motor. I've seen it happen too often. Good luck.
😃
Yes that's correct, I'm just trying to help, I have one of those machines and if the wash load isn't spinning fast, it's overloaded. I don't want your motor to burn out.
Your absolutely right also hand ring water out before you put in dryer your machine would last longer.
Great idea with the shower head system I was having trouble finding an adapter for my faucet!! Thanks for the idea great vid.
It's faster if you use a bucket or pitcher if you don't have a detachable shower head. I use the funnel for the spin side.
Great video! You are resourceful, and it's awesome.
I am so pleased you did a live review.. thank you. I will buy one now.
Thank you! Just purchased and wanted to see how it worked thank you....😊
Great idea! With the funnel head and hair tie
Thank you so much this video was so helpful, I just got mine today and thought I was trippin when the hose was too small to connect to the sink
I am going to purches one of these This was very helpful. It was easy to understand you thank you for explaining it the way you did. Some videos go way to fast, when they try to show you how its done.
You'll love it
Thank you for the video bc I just purchased one and hooking up the hose got me confused it didn't fit now I'll try your way thank you 💓
Best solution yet this ridiculous water input design flaw, THANKS!
I appreciate you!! Thank you for making this video.
Thanks Soo much 4 this demo.. I'ma love mine too ❤😊
My washer just came yesterday thanks for the tips
Thank you you're the only one who said that you added fabric softener. I wasn't really sure because no one talked about adding fabric softener to their rinse cycle. So thank you. Yes if someone would have said yes I added fabric softener but my machine broke or got messed up somehow I would have known not to use it. If you don't ask you'll never know. 😂 So again thank.
😃
Thank you so much for this video ! 🙏🏽
This was so so helpful! Thank you! ☺️
Good idea with the funnel
Great, helpful video! Thank you.
I got mine 3 days ago. I use a bucket to fill it. 3-4 buckets and you’re at top level
Do you mean just pour buckets of water directly into the drum? Or through the hose?
Way better than in the shower! Thanks I’ll be doing that too now😂
So you don't need to use the flexi pipe to fill it up?u can just use bucket to fill it?
Thanks for sharing such informative video.
Brilliant, that shower solution. Smart woman. Thank you.👍
The funnel is so smart. ❤
Just got mine as a gift from my son and I can't wait to use it..😊 where was this thingy wen my baby's was babys? 😂😂.. it's ok I'ma empty nester now and it's juuus rite 4me❤
This is an amazing video, thank you so much. I purchased one and I just did my first load and I definitely added way too much soap. Does anyone happen to know the best amount of liquid soap so you’re not left with tons of suds?
Great video!!! Thank you!!
Thank you so mich for sharing 😊
Someone marry this woman. Using hair ties for smart shit.
Shes a keeper!
Not only do you have a portable washer dryer you also have a portable bidet! 😂 same here!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I love your ingenuity :-) and thank God I don’t have to return this sucker! Thanks again
What is the 2nd water inlet for on the right? You didn’t mention.
Thanks!! 😊
Thank You🎉
Thank you for this!! I got one as a gift with no manual I was like what the hell am I supposed to do w this
😃
Lol me too. And soaked my bathroom trying to figure it out ugh lmao
Me too😂
Mine had a manual, you could tell it was translated from Chinese and it wasn't a great deal of use. I managed to set it up without too much difficulty.
I place mine on a stand so the machine is lower than the water input but above the water intake. Gravity (and keeping the water away from the electrical cord) is your friend
Thank you.
I didn’t fully watch but heck yeah that’s creative. !!
I just got one recently. I have a detachable shower head that I just put inside the drum and fill it that way.
Hi, where did you buy that hose with funnel, can you send the link?
Can u add water directly to the machine instead of hooking it up to the shower head
Also wats the other water intake for
I bought it 2 weeks ago and barely gonna connect it
So what happen when the water goes up in the motor under the bottom?
If it can handle rugs, it's a decent machine. Thanks.
Are you suppose to fill the dryer side with water ? Why is their a fill port for the spinner dry side
I have the same machine if you are wondering how much it is able to handle at a time no more then about 2 pairs of pants and a shirt or the equivalent of that amount and you should not have a problem.
Can you wash and dry at the same time
Does this make your water bill go up?
I so the same way amazing machine
Do you actually need to use the hose? for anything other than convenience? Or can you just fill up the washing tub with a bucket or something?
Why would filling, carrying and dumping multiple buckets of water - with possible spillage - be the preferred method to filling the machine?
I found that using the hose takes too long to fill. In the kitchen, I'll use a pitcher, and in the bathtub, I use the detachable shower head. I'll use the hose and funnel on the spin side.
I find it quite easy to fill the tub up with bowls of water, 4 or 5 bowls will fill it up to the medium level.
My only issue is the drying😢... You still have to hang dry?
I just purchased a different shower head that has a hose and I can put it in the machine.🙂
Mine is leaking from the bottom and won’t hold water in the tub… any ideas for why or how to fix?
If your machine is leaking from the bottom, then call the manufacturer to get a replacement.
Yes please be careful with the electrical cord being by that water very dangerous
Does anyone’s washer stop ever few seconds? Is this notmal
I have one but it leaks all the water out 😢
Why are there two water inlets?
Help..I just bought this machine second hand and it won't drain
Mine is making a clucking sound and I called the man. Ufacturer, and you're telling me that it's nothing I can do. I'm not gonna purchase another one I don't want to purchase another 1 because i like what i have. I need a suggestion help.
Is it possible to just pour in fresh water from a bucket?
From some comments above looks like folks do that too and apparently it has water fill lines on the inside that res L M H near the filter
Ade you still using it as of April 2024?
Can anyone explain how do i clean the filter of the twin tub ?
It comes out and you take out the lint
There's a comment above from @MyMoto2022 that explains it well. It's inside of the same question from @sAv_Doll
Isn't it risky with the electrical cord in the tub?
I don't think so, I use mine in my shower all the time, as long as the electric outlet stays dry.
I have sliding doors and pull the cord through the handle. I attach that cord to an appliance extension cord. Nothing gets wet.
How much I'd you pay
What size it pounds please
How did you remove the lint from the machine. I cant take mines off.
Me neither! Manual makes no sense. Instructions for cleaning filter says: "first put the bottom into the hole and then press it". What does that mean??!
Me too will someone please demonstrate
I came to the comments to ask the same thing! The diagram in the manual is not very clear
so at first I couldnt get my lint trap off either (i was afraid of breaking it) but then i just did it. So at the top of the lint trap piece there is a slight indentation, you want to push down on it while àt the same time pulling the top of it towards you. once you have it out a little bit pull upwards and this releases the bottom pin part from it's hole allowing the whole thing to be free. Once you hàve cleaned it, you put it back in at a slight angle, bottom first and once you place the bottom pin in the hole , push down and inward at the same time and the top part just pops back into place. Hope this helps. my instructions arent always the best but at least I'm not trying to give you directions anywhere
- u could end
up in timbuck two!! Lol 11:20

please see comments
Mine wont drain
I just direct the water right into the washer
Kinda dangerous washing with it in tub ...I had a maytag in 1980s and still use the hose ....but electrocution is what I worry about ...I just sit mine in bathroom floor.... built a pedestal. ...
I’m not sure about your machine but the one I’m looking at says not to use it in a wet area
they're lite so just move it
Mine spun about 3 cycles and now only runs the timer and refuses to spin the barrel! What am I doing wrong?
Thank you so much! The manual is useless.
Or I just filled a small tub with water and poured it in til desire water amount unfortunately mines no longer spins I just spin with hands using gloves
Dont know why a line is through my comment! I tried to correct it. Peace
You overloaded it though. Overloading won't really get your clothes that clean. Take your time baby girl.
Your clothes must be stiff when they dry, you're using too much detergent. Residual detergent can cause skin irritation.
😃
What is the proper amount of detergent? Because that is my problem with my machine. My clothes come out stiff
@@emilyaitch8143 I have the same machine I use one table spoon of dry detergent and one table spoon of oxy cleaner and a little liquid fabric softener it seems perfect and I do a full rinse with fresh clean water after load is done. Do not over load machine 2 pairs of pants and a shirt or the equivalent seems to work best for me.
Not the most ideal set up, but hey... the job was completed.
This is soooo cool!
I am using it for the first time
💖
Thank you
Lot of work 😅
Not a good idea to hang clothes inside unless you want a mold problem
