Buddy, you video was so helpfull, much appreciated. However, I'm trying to get that list you have, with the menu options listed. Can't find it online anywhere.
on my bike, the pedal assist senaitovort is at its most sensitive on setting 0001. if I raise the level to 24 it seems to take an age before the motor kicks in, which is a pain in the arse when you're trying to set off in a high gear on an incline.
This isn't hacking. The engineers designed the firmware this way so that the settings can be altered for each country. Speed restrictions are set for liability reasons. Some manufacturers offer instructions on how to access those settings. The process of holding down two buttons is basically the same for most electric bikes.
A question, is possible to skip the lcd control in order to star the bike without this component? Because I think this is very fragile and if it goes broken, no bike. Thanks.
P15 is battery cutoff voltage, very important to set it right to prolong battery life. 48v battery set to 40v-41v, 52v battery set to 42v-44v. P14 set to whatever the controller box rated is or battery bms amp rating.
@@kiddermereside hi, battery cutoff voltage basically means a protection against complete battery discharge which can lead to a dead battery that can't be charged anymore and the p14 setting is for the bms(battery management system), the max amps should be written on the battery, set the p14 setting to that.
hello thank you for your video. the p14 parameter on my sw900 goes up to 50 A. I have the impression that it is there but inactive because setting it to 1 or 50 does not change anything in torque or speed. possible in your opinion?
You don't want the controllers current rate to exceed the battery's maximum continuous discharge rating. Find out what your battery max discharge rate is and keep the controller set below that and that's as fast as your going to go until you buy a bigger battery and a controller with higher current rating. (a controller for a higher watt motor) So here's the deal... lets say you have a 48v 15ah battery and a 48v 750w motor. (750 / 48 = 15.62) A 48v 750w motor gets a 15a controller that's suitable for 48v. That's stock and you can't make it go faster by changing anything in the settings. I wish it was that easy but it ain't. You can buy a bigger 48v battery with 20ah or 24ah and that will make it go about 3 to 4 mph faster plus give you more range. lol pfft. What a joke. To make it faster you have to, #1 Buy a 52v or 60v battery. The motor likes any voltage you feed it. If anything the motor might get overheated on a hot summer day but, no worries. It will be fine. But don't go over 12v for what the motor is rated for. Stay safe. You don't want to make it dangerous fast, I hope... Maybe I shouldn't be telling all this... To late. Ok so #2 Buy a 30a or 35a controller that matches the battery's voltage (52v or 60v) and a new display that is compatible with the controllers protocol. (controller and display have to work with each other) Long story short, Buy a bigger battery. Buy a bigger controller with matching display (buy the kit) Slap it all in there and you will be going fast enough to really hurt yourself. I take no responsibility for any hospital visits or burials. The information is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Be responsible guys. These bikes can become very serious very fast so use caution and follow all laws and rules of the road. Let me know how fast you get that 750w motor to go after that upgrade. My guess is 60v battery, 35a controller on a once 750w motor will do 45 to 50+ mph. I am so about to delete this reply. This is dangerous information! You all can thank me later. Remember this is educational and entertainment purposes only!
