2021 titan pro4x owner here . Nothing beats a v8 . Since this administration announced its green deal I went n bought me an 8 cyl . Taking away our rights of choice.
Both great trucks I love Nissan remember back in 2020 when did a review on the Titan said wanted one now not sure because the Frontier has come a long way. I think get the Frontier now love that truck.
i love the 2020/2021 titan and titan xd pro 4x its the best off road full size truck ever also 22 frontier king cab and crew cab nissan making best 2 configuration on off road oriented pickup truck
I have a 2021 Frontier (old style body and interior, new updated engine and transmission). I love it. Adding a brake controller was 5 minutes and $50 because with the tow package it's pre-wired. Adding a bed cover bumped the fuel economy all the way up to 30.7 mpg highway-at 60 mph.
I’ve owned both trucks. I’ve had 3 Titans ( 2014 SV, 2015 Pro4X and 2017 Pro4X XD) just picked up the 22 Frontier Pro4x 3 weeks ago. Loved my Titans, towed a 32’ travel trailer with my XD ( gasser) with no issue. Titan was my choice because of the features it offered over other trucks and I think this is something that’s highly overlooked by a lot of people. Frontier is a great truck, use it to tow our 18’ travel trailer ( downsized a bit) without issue. I will say I am a little disappointed in some missing features with the frontier that really should have been a no brainer for Nissan. A few things that would have made the world of difference in the frontier: Power back sliding window Built in brake controller Upgrade the cameras All auto windows( only driver is full auto) Poor button placement on left side Rear window defrost ( gets cold in Canada) Telescopic steering… Don’t get me wrong still love this truck. Don’t forget, you can’t buy a Titan in Canada anymore and after next year rumour is there going to discontinue the line totally.
Great review. I really like them both. I will be getting a new truck in about 6 months and I will probably will go with the Frontier. I've been doing a lot of research over the past few months and I think I have settled on Nissan because they have a much better warranty. I would like to see the Frontier have a little more ground clearance. I've watched several comparisons with it against the Tacoma and the Frontier hits a lot of rock and things off road that the Tacoma didn't hit while running the exact same course. Maybe they will raise it some in 2023.
I'd go with the Frontier I think. After driving both for 4 months each, I love the Frontier for it's size. If I was towing or needed a big truck, Titan id for me. Great job on the video quality and editing! I just finished our ARIYA Ride n Drive all across the States.
What a fantastic review. My wife and I are so torn between these two trucks. My heart says Titan, naturally aspirated V8. Again, thanks for such a great review
The fuel economy difference is negligible. Maybe 2 mpg difference. They’re both about the same price used, with same miles. The titan pro-4x just makes sense.
Im seeing people getting 19mpg with 70% highway driving which makes it a good option. The 9 speed transmission really squeeze the mileage out of the Titan well with some sacrifice on the starting acceleration.
I think Titan is just a better truck. If you plan to expand your mini empire with more kids Titan is a good choice but then there’s the mini van for that main job.
Beds are not the same size. Titan is 5’7” bed. Frontier 5’. And I’m pretty sure the payload is 1000 and change for Frontier and Titan is around 1200 lbs.
Own a 2021 titan and it has the upmost GARBAGE TRANSMISSION!!! I have had nothing but issues with Nissan USA in trying to get anyone to do anything about it. They acknowledge the insane amount of complaints but do nothing about it. I owned an 05 frontier since 05 and just sold it to get the 21 titan. BIG MISTAKE! They wanted to get the Govt kickback on MPG and went to this new crap 9 speed transmission that has no idea what gear it wants to be in, delays itself for 3-5 seconds and shifts up quickly so theres no power at all. Truck lurches foward when going down from 2nd to 1st that will put you into an intersection if you dont have your foot smashed on the brake. Just test drove a new 23 frontier with the same transmission, and its balls to the walls faster and way better shifting. Night and day. They dropped the ball with the titans to get that extra 1mpg. Check the forums, countless transmission issues galore!

@@carsunlocked Great video but unwatchable. Please stop with the transition aka motion sickness. Thank you.
Would go with the Titan
Great choice
Titan. Doesn't have to be for work either. Just enjoyment.

@@carsunlocked I have a Titan Pro-4X but if the Frontier Pro-4X had manual, I would have bought it years ago.

it is sad no more titans available looks like the only choice nissan fans will have is the frontier
Wait, there no power back sliding window on the frontier? On any trim?
Can you put a car seat comfortably in the back of the frontier?
its tight
The Titan is great, but I just bought a Frontier Pro-4x on September 02nd, waiting for the Nissan stop sale order to be lifted to get it !
thanks for commenting my friend hopefully soon
I just got a 2022 frontier pro X love it..

The ARIYA is really a great performance/luxury vehicle. I’m not sure when they’ll be available but hopefully in the next 2-3 months.
Cannot wait

Nissan has done good job, so my pick is both it's a win 🏆 win 🏆 either way you go.
I wish I could buy both!!
Nice body lines...cool trucks too
Right on
trying to up size to a Titan from from my frontier, just the bed and the space for hauling for the house
thanks for commenting good luck
wish the Titan was sold in Canada .
me too but they did not have a large market share
frontier all the way. that truck is so sick
I love it
I would like the frontier but my 3 kids would fit with two boosters and a baby seat
Frontier for me. 😋

Frontier 100 %
