I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this video! Christine was such a lovely client. I'm also a BBW with cool undertones & green eyes. I only started understanding about undertones & how they work a few weeks ago. i always thought that I had warm undertones. Discovering I was a cool has been a game changer. I thought the colors that you chose was perfect for Christine. Even explaining how the purples in her eyeshadow brought out the green in her eyes. So a big "Thank You" for helping me on my makeup journey. I'm forever grateful.

Hi Julie sorry I missed your live today. Loved your instructional video on your beautiful model you did a great job explaining your technique. I definitely use the Nyx contour sticks on my mature clients they love it. It is a really good neutral contour colour and so smooth. I also enjoy the Hoola and I just bought the Huda contour cream it is really nice. Have you tried the Smashbox sticks they are good too? You look lovely never would think you just had a baby. I'll have to look into that NARS foundation - I have a hard time finding anything pale enough and cool toned enough, and while the one in the video is warm toned, it's pale enough to seem promosing. Hopefully they have something bluer that could work for me...
Edit: Also, clicked on this cause Christine looks a little like my mom, though my mom is cool toned (not quite as much as me) and has more of an oval face. Before she developed Hoshimoto's disease her face was more diamond shaped like mine, but her thyroid's caused her face to round out...

How do you decide how dark the contouring color for your skin tone
Rule of thumb is 3 shades darker… but many contour products are labeled fair-light-tan-med-dark so you’d pick the one that correlates with your completion.

i noticed you have a lip palette for MAC lipstick. it looks homemade. do you melt lipsticks into this palette yourself?

I have a double chin and I am very fair. The problem is I have PCOS, and I have facial hair on my chin.. removing the hair causes me to have redness. I also have flushing with red on my cheeks. I use the shape tape but when use contour on my jaw, neck, the buffing or blending removes some of my makeup. Then the redness starts bleeding through concealer and foundation.
Any ideas on how to contour dble chin and neck and conceal redness?

Hey lovely. Yes, I recommend using a beauty blender and not a brush to do your blending. ELF sells an amazing sponge for around $5. Use light pressing motions only, no swirling or rubbing or you’ll expose the redness. Hope that helps ❤️

Hi! I believe it was Benifit Hola Bronzer! They only have 3 shades, fair, med, and dark.
I used their classic shade which is the medium tone.
