The title is poking fun at how swords are portrayed in movies, using a sword that works how Hollywood thinks all swords (especially Katanas) work.

Curved swords always cut better and deeper because more of sword in contact with the target during swing action. While Kilij would cut better and deeper than Katana without any question as well simply because it is more curved and has extra weight at the tip of sword called Yalman which allows the sword having more force on contact point compared to Katana which has a lightweight tip. However this doesn't mean Kilij is a better weapon as Katana could be used to penetrate armour as well while Kilij not so much..
