Dmitry Bivol is a very nice humble guy. He deserves A LOT of RESPECT. He's NOT arrogant at all. He doesn't talk shit or put other fighters down to boost his own ego like other fighters do. He lets his boxing do all of the talking inside of the ring. This guy is my new favorite fighter who deserves so much respect.
I think that was one of Canelo's problems in this fight, he was a arrogant thinking he could walk through Bivol like his last fights

Canelo deserves respect because he moved up multiple weight classes and proved that he could defeat much bigger champions to take their belts. Bivol really does seem genuine and he deserves this. Bivol is really good for boxing. I am a total casual, so I watched Bivol highlights before the fight. When I saw the footwork, power, and speed, my respect for Canelo went up. He must have thought it was going to go a different way, but it was a tough as hell fight to pick.
Nothing easy about fighting Bivol. True fans, not casuals, knew about Dmitry and how skillful he is, and that he could beat Canelo. And that's what happened.

Been high on Bivol since his amateur days, so glad to see how far he’s come. I’ve always known how skilled of a boxer he is, but most importantly he is a great thinker, and he really got to show that in the Canelo fight. Really happy that boxing fans finally got to see what he is capable of and are now becoming more familiar with his wonderful mindset and attitude.

A+ win for Bivol and he is "the man that beat the man" and made a new fan that night...I'm a Canelo fan and I honestly don't see him beating Bivol at 175 maybe gets a draw at best. We need to understand that Bivol throws too many accurate punches for Canelo. I think Canelo should forget about Bivol. We know that Bivol is too big, too strong, and moves too well. The only way Canelo wins and if the judges give him the fight after having lost. Bivol would need to make sure he wins convincingly a second time.
They're going to try to get Bivol to agree to meet at 168 in hopes he comes in weight drained. Canelo has zero hope at 175.
This is an honorable man, a very skilled boxer and a great athlete. Have watched many of his fights. He’s too much for Canelo. I will continue to root for him.

Canelo had NO plan of attack he was relying on his strength and knock out but his opponent had a plan , a total defence , he was able to block Canelo most times perhaps in forested Canelo needed a better trainer with foresight it was that important. ...preperation
I'm sure his plan of attack was to go hard to the body. What he didn't expect was that his punches would be landing on a fighter with better punch resistance than any fighter he's ever faced and that the return fire would be so overwhelming.

When you’re a Master at your craft, you don’t have to beg for attention, the attention will come to you.
The fight to make is unification at light heavyweight! Arum was downplaying Bivol because of his hatred of Hearn, but Bivol right now is carrying all the buzz in the division. Canelo needs to get a good win against GGG, fight another light heavyweight to get comfortable at the weight and try again next May. It will be a massive fight.

Canelo is not Tyson. Tyson's amazing head movement allowed him to slip punches and close the distance with ease. Canelo was like a punching bag that fights back. He didn't use footwork or angles, he simply tried to bully Bivol and walk him down all night.

Canelo used the jab in the fight but he paid for it and was always open after throwing it. Bivol is also a highlevel counter fighter, if Canelo used the jab a lot more, he'd be countered a lot more too.
