All I ever use for scrape scent is my own urine, and I've had mature bucks pawing it the same day. Never have I seen evidence that it spooked any deer, or any animal for that matter.
Pretty good down and dirty video for hunting hubs👍🏼 I love UA-cam as opposed to podcasts due to the fact that I’m such a visual learner, so keep those diagrams coming!👏🏼
If I could offer one critique respectfully, maybe explain more how the Thermals of a thermal hub would dictate when and when you would not want to hunt there.

What scent do you guys like ? I had decent success with buck fever forehead gland .

I have always wondered how the human scent left when freshening up the scrapes year around affects the use of the scrapes in these hub spots. I liked the idea of dropping milkweed for 10 mins before selecting the tree stand location to beat the swirling.
I could be totally wrong, but personally I feel if you go back to often to that scrape and freshen it up then you will leave too much human scent and the deer will avoid it. If I am totally wrong on this then I would like to hear the opposing view.
That's a afternoon/ evening spot if your planting on hunting the bottom of that hub, thermals are a wicked creature to figure out in rolling Hill country. Give me cliffed out drainages all day over rolling hills.

I watch this video, get excited because it seems so easy, start looking for areas on onX that would be a hub, but the terrain here in upstate NY is more of the long rolling hills.. not many point systems in a hub setup.. disappointing
How far are those beds from the scrape?
150 yards or so
Maybe I missed something but what qualifies an area as a hub? Is it a low area or a higher point?
In this case a low area where many points or fingers off a ridge come together.
Like the hub on a wheel with spokes.
