I was set to take the train from the airport (T2) to Hotel Bagues (points stay) with my almost 80 year old mother in law until I saw your video and realized there’s no way she can make that walk! I’d love you opinion on whether we’re better off getting the Hola Barcelona pass or the all-in-one Barcelona city pass with tickets to Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. She tires easily so I thought the latter would be a better option, but I may still have to buy public transportation passes and the airport shuttle, correct? We’re there for 3 days.
Hello there, if you are traveling with a 80 year old mother, do her a favor and take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Any other alternative would be quite unfair to her. I would get the Hola BCN pass for the days you are going to stay in the city, so you go everywhere by public transport.

Hola Don, be very welcome to the channel. Having a car in Barcelona is one of the biggest mistakes you could possibly make, so you will be fine without it. There are several universities in Barcelona, if you are going to stay near the historic building of the University of Barcelona you will be absolutely fine, you'll be able to visit many places just walking, and when you need to, you can use the buses or the metro (subway). Hello Maisara, delighted to hear you are finding the info on the channel useful. June is our favorite month to visit Spain! VISA and MasterCard are widely accepted in Spain (both debit and credit). The acceptance of American Express is more restricted. All the best!

Hola Don, be very welcome to the channel. Having a car in Barcelona is one of the biggest mistakes you could possibly make, so you will be fine without it. There are several universities in Barcelona, if you are going to stay near the historic building of the University of Barcelona you will be absolutely fine, you'll be able to visit many places just walking, and when you need to, you can use the buses or the metro (subway). Not really. Unless you want to spend four hours going and coming back and two hours in Montserrat.

Hello! Love the videos! Are the Barcelona Discount Passes such as the Barcelona Card or Go Barcelona Pass worthwhile? If yes, which is recommended? I also see that the Barcelona Pass, although included free entry to Sagrada, it does not include entry to the towers. Can entry to the towers be bought separately?

@@georgerodriguez4419 we always recommend the Nativity facade for the only reason that it was the only one fully designed by Gaudí and completed while he was still alive.

What is the best way to take a day trip from Madrid to Barcelona
