I dont understand why people keep saying "this aged poorly" now that his rework is announced :D The announcement didnt change anything, it was always clear that he needs a rework and that he is going to get one. My video just points out that instead of pumping out new, unneccesary champion,s they could rework the old ones with the same pace.
whilst i agree that league is in desperate need of a change in priorities, SPECIALLY since a lot of the old designs are just uninteractive stats sticks (tryndamere should not be a champion that exists) i find it dumb to compare corki and smolder like that, they have more than substantial differences in their identities past hybrid marksman caster and interact differently in the places you would draft them.. its inevitable that champs will end up with abilities similar in effect to others, specially if they are within the same category or are meant to perform similar feats, but that never ends up as one being an total upgrade/copy paste over the other.. but yeah the main point of protest should be to update currently existing champs
I just hate smolder, they said he was supposed to be "entry" to the ADC role, low skill ceiling... but they gave him infinite scaling so he just becomes a demigod once a certain time has passed in the game. it is cringe.
Also, the premise of controlling a dragon sounds powerful and “beasty”(?). But they went with, not a baby dragon, not a little dragon, but a child dragon, a freakin skibidifan dragon. When they announced it was going to be a little dragon I tought he would be something like Azymondias from The Dragon Prince, which mixes pretty well the child proportions with the majesticness of a dragon. Smolder looks like Simba from The Lion King

@@treelayn6292 as far as "monster champion" concerned, they hit it way better with smolder than most other one (naafiri for example is god-awful) ALso for the "entry" level: low elo games last longer, therefore smolder is less punished and scales better/easier in low-elo
Nilah feels quite different to samira. Nilah duo lane bruiser, samira aoe ult but still squishy adc. While samira plays off ally engage and has to wait out key enemy abilities, nilah is a proactive bruiser, made to play with enchanters by her numbers, and the 2 charge dash + ult +w invulne helps her stick even without squishy samira's e reset
I think that there are a lot of rework actually, some are smaller other are big. Asol and syndra for exemple are reworks to me (much more than mudno one ). Rek sai, seraphine, and even azir also got smaller reworks.
Lol. Now that Phreak announced a Corki rework, this has not aged so well. Okay, that's not entirely true. Many champs still need a visual or gameplay update, or both!
well this video aged poorly with his rework. it feels to me, he's going to become the most bland generic auto attack spam ADC ( i know he's going to be sheen focused but that doesn't feel like it's much of a mechanic specific to him in any way), it just seems like they took a normal ADC and averaged it to become him, true damage auto heavy and sheen, also really funny that tristana is the champion featured here, another early game "fuck it we dive" lane bully that i feel corky is going to turn into this patch.

Good point. The only good answer to this -- Corki would have different gameplay when he gets his rework. So Smolder = Corki Corki = somethins entierly new (in the future) But, to be honest, I do not think they are similar even in a current state. :)

Corki's "rework" isn't even a rework. It's a revert with modernizing tweaks being sold as a rework.
