HD Breakout - 2016 Upgrades

- Upgraded my 2015 Harley Davidson Breakout this winter. It is now Feb 2016 and my bike is ready to rock and roll with some juicy upgrades.
Upgrades include:
Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather intake-chrome
Screaming eagle Heavy breather Cover-
Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-2 exhaust-Black
V&H Fuel Pack 3
Willie G skull Grips, pegs, brake pedal, shifter and Primary Cover.
Reduced reach seat
Sundowner Passenger Seat
Still considering the CVO Turbine wheels in Black contrast.

I just test rode a '17 , Laguna Orange ............ I had a smile on my face during the entire ride. Which , for me, is not typical. I'm usually a low-key , roll with it kind of person. I did notice it's a little different turning this bike with such a massive rear tire . I loved it , I shall make it mine.
I'm putting a deposit on it tomorrow .
I really like the mods you did to your machine , I'll probably do mostly everything you did except for the reduced- reach seat. On mine , once I get it I'll also swap out the turn indicator lenses to the dark tint version, swap out the mirrors for black ones, visor trim rings over front & rear turn indicators, and the crazy expensive Harley Daymaker LED headlight.

This is definitely one of the hardest bikes I've ever seen. Outstanding job absolutely flawless. Handling does look a bit difficult but im sure you get used to it. The only thing else I'd do if the bike was mine is install a dakota digital speedo with blue led display but thats just my personal preference. Great Job!!!!
Yea, I was looking into speedos, but couldn't settle for one. However I don't mind the analog stock one.

I'm plann I ng on getting one of these myself someday. only thing I would add to your bike I'd a fatter tire, I'm not sure if it's possible but I think it would like more even out in the back, you know? where the tire is flush on each side of the fender! but hey that's just an idea. keep up the good work. subscribed.

Nice upgrade choices bro. I'm picking up a 2016 Breakout with Hard Candy Custom (Black Gold). I have the same V&H pipes coming, but now seeing your bike with the HD heavy breather air cleaner I may change my AC choice. I was going to go with the V&H version, but I don't think it looks as nice as HD's. Nice bike man...enjoy it shiny side up!

Nice bike man.. it's been 10plus years since I gave up my street bike(s), due raising a family.. when I saw the rocker by pictures I was wow Harley gave in to the chopper drag style, then I went to the motorcycle show and saw it up front i was like this was made in China type of look.. lol.. but when the break out was its replacement.. I fell into again.. goin to pick one up in a year or less.. ride endlessly man.. screw the comments below
Congratz on the bike! Could you give some more information on that "V&H Fuel Pack 3". What it does? What's the price tag on that? Does it increase fuel consumption?
+Miguel Silva About 320usd on Amazon. Works with your iPhone/Android device. Let's you choose your set up and will tune it accordingly. Can only be used with one bike and one bike only. It absolutely will increase fuel consumption, especially with high flow intake and exhaust. I however don't notice any significant difference in fuel consumption. I do say it rides and sounds a lot better with the tuner installed and configured.
2016 outbreak? Cmon man. Know your bike, especially when it comes to your keys and having it in gear.

I have a set of turbine wheels available , with tires , brake rotors , sprocket ( complete & ready to mount)
I removed them from my 2017 Breakout with 360 miles on them 👍

hey buddy. love the bike!! i have a 2014 breakout with the hard candy paint. I just ordered the willie g footpegs and wanted to know if you had any problem installing them? the harley catelog and online says the pegs will not fit rider position on the fxsb. i dont see how they wouldnt work since you can rotate the pegs. i saw you got them on so i ordered them anyway

great bike and great mods. I have the same breakout and after installing the daymaker headlamp I noticed a shaking in the light (because of vibrations) respect to the original headlamp, did you realise something similar?
No, daymaker has no shake. The best upgrade on my bike was that actually.

That's personal preference. I like the big radius in black.

Handling on mine is fine, but probably cause I only ride around town, short trips no longer than 30 miles. You do have to use some back muscles to get it to lean, but I still wouldn't have bought anything else.

Question, what did you put in the signal light you said you forgot the name , like signal light trim and where did you buy them.
Bought it from HD it's called the "Visor trim ring" comes in black or chrome.

What are they like to ride please????
Great for short 2-3 hour rides. Anything longer, I suggest a winshield. Love the forward controls, very comfortable riding position.

Imran Khan Mike Merrimack at Chicago Harley Davidson hooked my up at $16,500 USD even. About 2000 worth of accessories bought separately over last winter. It will be a while before I can afford and justify the Turbine wheels, I want.

Yeah, The geometry and look overall on the 13'-17' Breakouts is amazing. Very pleasant to look at. The 18' and up, look like sportsters from the side.
So funny, all you Harley guys pay $20,000 for a bike and spend another $10,000 trying to be original and end up being the same as everyone else.. LOL! Seems the only unique Harley is a stock Harley.
