Do not forget the snakes entering the open outdoor showers and toilets...I do like living in a more closed rooms with aircon.
Perhaps not the most tropical experience but bug free.

Luckily we haven’t come across any an snakes yet. I agree we prefer the more enclosed apartments, reduces the amount of wildlife
