Yeah, I believe this is more accurate since they have also observed cats using “human meows”. When they are around other cats they actually try to articulate and send messages through their meows but when they are around humans they use a different type of speech like “scream until understood” 😂

They even remember the sound of the polybag that holds their treats and food. *This.* There's this South African UA-camr named Michael Jamison who makes videos of him taking care of his two rescue tigers Enzo and Diego (ethically, don't worry). Clearly they don't have the mindset the video claims about even domestic cats since it's apparent in Michael's videos that they're intelligent enough to recognize many different things and animals.. including the fact that Michael himself is not a tiger like them. They can even understand what a reflection based on the video where Michael shows them a mirror. Also, they sure don't expect Michael to come back home with a kill or anything like that. Instead, they're spoiled and make sure to start "meowing" at Michael when he comes around with the chicken for feeding time. They also do this when they see Michael carrying a can of whip cream.. which then they _really_ start getting loud with the begging meows, hilariously more so than regular food. So yeah, no "survival in the wild" mentality at all even with a tiger that has probably stronger and more natural hunting instincts than a housecat. Oh, and despite the fact that Enzo and Diego recognize that Michael is obviously not a tiger like one of them.. they still respect him like a father figure since he's the one who raised them from cubs alongside his girlfriend Jackie. Every once in a while the two big cats' playfighting turns aggressive, but they back down as soon Michael raises his voice. Check out Michael Jamison's channel. Quite wholesome content. He also keeps around a hundred other animals, most of which are dogs, (regular) cats, and monkeys. Not only great channel, but great guy considering a number of his cats were rescued dumpster cats.

Yeah, I believe this is more accurate since they have also observed cats using “human meows”. When they are around other cats they actually try to articulate and send messages through their meows but when they are around humans they use a different type of speech like “scream until understood” 😂
@@bio_88 Meowing itself is something, that is unique to house cats. Because humans do react to it positivly. Other types of cats loose their ability to meow while growing up. It's actually a baby sound.

When I pickup other polybag for chips and stuff, my cats don't react, but when u pick up their wet food bag, they run up to the door immediately and start meowing like they haven't been fed in the last week😂😂
*This.* There's this South African UA-camr named Michael Jamison who makes videos of him taking care of his two rescue tigers Enzo and Diego (ethically, don't worry).
Clearly they don't have the mindset the video claims about even domestic cats since it's apparent in Michael's videos that they're intelligent enough to recognize many different things and animals.. including the fact that Michael himself is not a tiger like them. They can even understand what a reflection based on the video where Michael shows them a mirror.
Also, they sure don't expect Michael to come back home with a kill or anything like that. Instead, they're spoiled and make sure to start "meowing" at Michael when he comes around with the chicken for feeding time. They also do this when they see Michael carrying a can of whip cream.. which then they _really_ start getting loud with the begging meows, hilariously more so than regular food. So yeah, no "survival in the wild" mentality at all even with a tiger that has probably stronger and more natural hunting instincts than a housecat.
Oh, and despite the fact that Enzo and Diego recognize that Michael is obviously not a tiger like one of them.. they still respect him like a father figure since he's the one who raised them from cubs alongside his girlfriend Jackie. Every once in a while the two big cats' playfighting turns aggressive, but they back down as soon Michael raises his voice.
Check out Michael Jamison's channel. Quite wholesome content. He also keeps around a hundred other animals, most of which are dogs, (regular) cats, and monkeys. Not only great channel, but great guy considering a number of his cats were rescued dumpster cats.

this is a common misinterpretation of cats _socially_ viewing humans like other cats. they pack bond with humans like they would other cats, and treat you with the same attitude as they would other cats, as opposed to how you're never gonna see a tabby be best friends with a snake even if that snake acts friendly. they can absolutely tell we're not the same species as them, but they don't care because we're still part of the same family as far as they're concerned

Yet if you die your cat will begin to eat the cartilage from your nose, your tongue, eyelids, and ears. Given they like the soft tissue. Hence why when people are found dead in their homes they always notice that the cat immediately starting going to town on their former owner.
