A lot of people are saying that the cheetah would eat her without the glass, but I think it would rather smack her in the head. It looks more annoyed with her than curious
The coolest thing about Cheetahs is they're very different from other big cats. They're not ambush predators like Pumas, Lions, Tigers, etc. They're pure speed, built for chasing fast prey. So they're probably the most docile towards anything that doesn't run from them. Other big cats will pounce if you turn your back.
Not that cheetahs are more docile. The main family of cats is called felidae, from there derive 2 different groups; pantherae (lion, tiger, jaguar, leopard, panther, clouded leopard...) and felinae (domestic cats, wild cats, sand cats, pallas cats, and cheetahs...). Cheetahs are confused with the first group only because of their size and geographic distribution, but their behavior and genetics are closer to that of a domestic cat. Their level of aggressiveness is lower and unfortunately this does not help their survival when they have to compete for food.
Yeah I've always loved them. I think theirnthe sweetest of all the wild cat species. Their more chill. They are built to be as fast as the wind. A lion is powerful, but try to run and catch a cheetah. Their speed is breathtaking.
cheetah's are literally ambush predators a quick google search will show you that in 2 seconds and save you from an embarrassing incorrect rant. they will pounce if you turn your back like any other cat and countless videos show this
@Lina great comment. They also don't have retractable claws like most other cats. They are far more frail than what most would consider a "big cat". Lion vs. Cheetah? Nope, time to rev up those 60mph legs
@aqeel-3771😂they don’t usually see adults as food but babies they definitely see as food, this applies not only for cheetahs but foxes and coyotes also
A lot of people in the comments are misunderstanding the situation. Cheetahs are actually incredibly anxious creatures. They don't attack anything unless it runs away. I dont think this cheetah sees the little girl as food or something to attack because she's not acting like food.
No he sees her as something to attack. Not because he’s hungry but because she is actively threatening him. He doesn’t want to because he’s not sure why she wants to attack him and if she has some advantage he can’t see. But he fully believes she’s trying to fight.

@@dmioz3955 I have been told about this novel where a cheetah was used as a metaphor as a woman following the structure of society. But I have to admit, it's usually the women who seek marriage and then complain about not being free. They are always jealous of what they don't have. I guarantee you that if they were to became single again they would immediately start hunting for a husband.
It's staring her down not because she's cute, but because that's what predators do before they pounce and eat you alive. If the glass wasn't there it's be over with pretty quick .
Yes, you right! You saw the cat pulling out his paw two times. I know this reaction and this glare from my own cats. I have normal cats as my pets. But they do exactly the same thing. The difference, they aren't killers and this cheetah is. I know this glare and stare and then comes the paw and what I get is big thick scratch on my arm or my hand. I mean cats are difficult to handle sometimes. It's not like I'm doing something to them, you just need to go to them at the wrong moment, when they want to be left alone and sleep or just sit around and chill (like this cheetah here). In my eyes this cheetah just wants to chill or whatever and then this stupid little humans comes and it's disturbing this cheetahs chilly milly time. So no wonder it would attack her. Im glad that there is a window between them otherwise this would be the last day for this cheetah and then ☠️
They don’t eat prey alive. They strangle them first. And if the glass wasn’t there the cheetah wouldn’t be that close. They can’t take on a full grown human watching over a child.

Their speed is breathtaking.
cheetah's are literally ambush predators a quick google search will show you that in 2 seconds and save you from an embarrassing incorrect rant. they will pounce if you turn your back like any other cat and countless videos show this
True, but cougars are also very unlikely to attack humans too. There are cases, but they’re extremely rare
@Lina great comment. They also don't have retractable claws like most other cats. They are far more frail than what most would consider a "big cat". Lion vs. Cheetah? Nope, time to rev up those 60mph legs
This cheetah is wonderin' what invisible force is between him and his food, he ain't fascinated 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@aqeel-3771😂they don’t usually see adults as food but babies they definitely see as food, this applies not only for cheetahs but foxes and coyotes also
Cheetahs don't eat people.

Why no one is talking about that cheetah's eyelashes. They are beautiful.
Aw, so true!
🤣🤣why dont put mascara on them.
Women. 🤷♂️😄
Nice, right
It has immaculate eyeliner work.
That Cheetah is scarily attentive hahahaha. I got a lil spooked. Could you imagine being in the wild and this thing just looking at you like that?
Cheetahs are actually pretty chill with humans, in many cases. That's with adults, though. I don't know how they tend to react to small children.
No more attentive than a normal cat
@@loganwernicke7604 that’s not a “normal” cat.
@@loki2240 probably not very pleased, small children screech and are quite grabby.
@@loganwernicke7604 that's absolutely nonsense these aren't normal cats
Cheetah: "Oh, Look. A 'Happy Meal'!"
Glad there was glass separating them. Cheetah is so beautiful.
Little girl is adorable. They would not be playmates.
But knowing parents these days they'd think they would be.
@@eternallegacy89 I know. People can act like morons. I had cousins who lived near Yellowstone National Park, and one year a family drove through, saw a bear(thinking of cartoon, Yogi and Boo Boo), put honey on their child's face, rolled down window to take a picture of bear 'kissing/licking' child's face. Did not go as planned, and they were SHOCKED
@@giraffeNana2023 did bear hurt that kid ?

KLR Production must get this video and makes a voice over from it.

Don't know why but I have a real issue with this little girl being allowed to sit there and tease this powerful animal, I don't think it's fair to the little girl and I don't think it's fair to that poor cheetah
The cheetah: “Oh you’re lucky this glass is in the way.”
😂😂😂
Video is just one proof more that people are more stupid when they leave a zoo than before.
🤣
🤣 👍🏾
I wish the glass wasn't there tbh. Would serve them all of she was made into tonight's dinner. Deserves it

That cat is “fascinated” by that child the same way i’m fascinated with Buffalo wings. There are definitely better words to describe this interaction.

There’s a tiny moment, when it looks like they kiss.
Yeah..it feels cheta tries to kiss the baby...
Yes.. They kissed
I just thought this was the cuteest moment between 2 different sentient species -bumping into each other in the telepathic world of Wonder, observing each other’s form & color & sound waves, etc!!! 🥰😇🙌😁🌹🐪🤗❤️🎶🐬💞🙏🎉

Glass is the real hero. It protected cheetah from the little girl.
Poor cheetah, so depressing their life at the zoo. Sad
Exactly, it is a curse 🤬🤬🤬🤬 to captivate them.
It's not cute it's so sad 💔
Agreed. He needs to be in the wild!
He'll look good on the mantle of some hunter's fireplace alright
True but they aren't always safe in the wild either because of hunters and environmental issues.
"Adorable" did not come to my mind. "Dinner" is what I thought of first!
Although the cheetah was once widespread and is a relatively large predator, there are no documented records of a wild cheetah killing a human.
@@Kankan_Mahadi
That we know of!
@@crazyelf3839 Well, until there's concrete evidence that a cheetah has killed a human the notion of 1 eating a child is nonexistant.
send your child , let's see what happens .
@@Kankan_Mahadi probably because they think they can't hunt adult people because of the size difference. But if a hungry cheetah sees a 10 year old kid in front of him which he can hunt, he definitely won't refuse to attack and make him his lunch.

That's her sister
And the third above the toddler's head.

Whoa! I didn't even notice the third one. Camouflage working as intended. 👍
That cheetah is looking at at her like a snack. Such a cute little girl, full of innocence and no fear. Thank goodness for the glass!
yeah same thought here
The cheetah is sitting there in as her higher self. Full of confidence in who it is and in its ability and skills. And looking at the child who has not reached that level of self actualization yet.
Cheetah is communicating with her and she’s signing back
YES, the glass would need to be THICK!!👍
Imagine how mind numbingly boring it would be to spend your life in a cage like that.
Especially when you are born and structured to run 50-80mph. I have a Whippet who can run up to 35-40mph and she is bouncing off the walls if she isn’t able to get that energy out of her daily.
Maybe you never think but we all live in a cage.
It’s so sad for the big cat 😿
Sad for this Cat
Should be Free
Im glad that there is a window between them otherwise this would be the last day for this cheetah and then ☠️
No it's not.
They don’t eat prey alive. They strangle them first. And if the glass wasn’t there the cheetah wouldn’t be that close. They can’t take on a full grown human watching over a child.
Yeah we kinda know that
Cheetah: what is this strange spotted kitten 🤔
Little girl: look at the big house cat so fluffy 😊

Cheetah will shy away from an adult, but small things are fair game for these incredible creatures.
Correct, the child represents food to the chetta.
More vulnerable, easier to catch

For the last time, cheetahs don't prey on humans. They can be seen as XXL house cats or wolves.
