Vern came to Albuquerque years ago, and during a break I had the good fortune to meet his steel guitar player. As a steel player myself he was kind enough to take me on the stage and show me the licks to Set um Up Joe. How cool can it get……. Best memory ever..

I know about lonely, my husband died 10 years ago after 17 years of a loving marriage.
My dad lived 6 years after losing my mom after 60 years...I know it was hard...
