Just because EA is a greedy ass bitch doesn’t make rimworld (and the DLCs) cheap. Rimwold’s base game is priced far higher than it’s worth, and the DLCs even more so. Personally, I bought the game and pirated the DLCs. I find that a fair price for everything combined, maybe just a little low.

I don’t even own a copy of rimworld but I was very hyped for this update and plan to purchase all content when I get a working pc.
Honestly I find rimworld and the DLCs to be pretty damn overpriced, so I suggest buying the bad game and pirating a copy to transfer the DLCs. Rimworld alone being 30 dollars is excessive, let alone the DLCs each being the same price as a whole new game while adding an okay amount of content is a little scummy. Especially considering the game doesn’t stand too well alone without any DLC. Personally, I think they should add Royalty and Ideology to the base game and maybe charge like 5 dollars more at most, and set Biotech and Anomaly at 10-15 each. I mean, even then you’re still paying 40-50 dollars for a pretty good game. Don’t get me wrong, I like the game, but it isn’t worth the price

Anomaly allows you to play gunslinger engineer and deploy a combat mini sentry.

2:41:00 The flesh cave quest is insanely difficult. How an early colony with a couple of people suppose to fight against 3 dozens of fast, hard hitting monsters and a mid game boss in a huge cave? Seem like that event don't scale with your wealth or time at all
The nerve spiker seem weak. Stun time is very short and it's slow to shoot. It's inaccurate and weaker than bow (12-17 dmg)
The fleshbeasts are a bit too strong for a common mob

I think vequeue decided to just take it all on way too early, I mean he did rush all of the anomaly research without even getting guns or armor.
No Vee the ghouls are not undead. They are half dead serviles, meant to decay and die over time. The only way to be "Undead" in RW as you know is with "Deathless". Not being able to tend to them is not a bug either you started with one without capturing and studying it. Meaning none of your pawns know how to tend to them as they are rotting away. They were in a mod at one point but in a much simpler way. They mentioned in the preveiw that yes anomaly ties into biotech and the xenotypes. The $25 price tag is also perfectly fair the longer a game runs the more expensive it is to keep it going long term. There whole team worked on all this content, made it work with existing content, scripted, coded, and released it with a free update. Not only do they deserve to be paid for that work they need to. Is some of it from mods, yes it is but unlike those mods this doesn't crash your game or have compatibility issues with practically everything and won't risk being abandoned because unlike modders the devs actually get paid to make this. So if you like rimworld and want more in it yes its worth it, if not then why ask about DLC for a game you don't like. To put it simply for some people the more people actually buy the dlc the more budget the devs have to make future content with as well as motivation, pride in there work, and a desire to grow a project being shown love. Otherwise they will eventually abandon it because when the money dries up they WILL HAVE NO CHOICE.

I am truly surprised you haven't ever tried using a geo vent to heat the kill box to burning temps/ levels.. but come-on be for real you know what your going to promote the sail as the price isn't bad. And this will not be easy. burn zombie/ ghouls like fallout outbreak the walking dead scp the last of us as I know we know full well that's where they got some inspiration from along with others.

There is a simple solution for people that are complaining about the game and dlc prices. Don’t buy it. If other people enjoy it and spend their money on it it’s their choice, you don’t have to.

Devs deserve it, small team and Rimworld has been developed for something like almost 10 years now. I remember supporting the devs when it was basically still a 1 man project on patreon back in like late 2014 early 2015.
