Once you own a hatchback, it’s hard to go back to a sedan. The practicality is just so good and much more usable cargo space. Besides, it’s nice to own something different from the sea of sedans and SUV’s. 👍🏾
As a GTI owner, I agree completely lol.
went from owning sedans and coupes, to owning two Speed 3s, Just traded in my speed for an Mk7 and i agree don't see myself going back lol
Sedan has bigger boot. In fact, most sedan has the biggest actual boot space. My Golf GTI has 380L boot space, my 330i has 480, and my old Mazda 6 has 519L. Definitely way more space. Because it’s a much longer car as well.
@@Mav86asian More horizontal space maybe but the sedan’s boot is usually more shallow. Also, passenger room is much better in a hatchback due to lack of a sloping rear roof. I driven an Audi A3 sedan and it felt far more claustrophobic inside than my GTI.
Just got a GTI, loving it the second best part is having almost 0 blind spots. And city parking such a “small” car is so much easier than the other cars I’ve drove
haha GTI always brings a smile to people.
Love how you started with I like these cars but I can’t buy one of these. Then ended with if I could get one for a decent price I might get one. 😂
Just bought an Octavia RS with a Stage 2, it's an absolute rocket and demands some restraint to actually put all the power down. The last owner showed me he had it getting above 350hp but still wanted to use it to get to work so didn't go any further lol
I have a stock Octavia RS. With 100 hp less than yours but enough for me.
getting the IE stage 2 soon can't wait :)
howd it turn out?
Shoutout to the owner for getting her washed up super clean before the review 🤪
Front sway bars are a must on stage 2 + gti’s
Tbh just to have 400 hp and be able to have my 120 pound germen Shepherd in the back with lots of room, makes me not want any other car. Golf r is all you need.
The homie is back!!! Missed you bro!
Stg 2 rocks
Is it stock clutch? Run IE ECU stage 2 and DSG tube as well. But can feel obvious shudder from N to D1 but feel better when the clutch is engaged from 2nd gear up. Is it normal thing?
My stage 2 DSG mk7 does the same thing. it's very common with most manual transmissions and the DSG is just an automated manual transmission. due to the ratio of 1st, it doesnt like to go under 3-5mph. So it has to do some weird slipping of the clutch to drive at that speed. Not a VW engineer or tuner, but I am I tech a VW dealership and thats my interpitation atleast. Also make sure youre up to date on your DSG fluid and filter change!
@@MeuwMusic Cheers mate!
just downpipe? rest of exhaust is stock? res and muffler
The downpipe is the most restricted area, installing an aftermarket downpipe will make it significantly louder. Muffler and resonator won't really do anything, it's all in the downpipe.
Gti is faster in a straight line after modding then the golf R
Well obviously but if u mod the golf r then that's faster than a modded R 😂
if you choose golf R over GTI, is it just preference? Or overall R is way better? And can you even daily a stage 2 gti?
Why wouldn’t you be able to daily a stage 2 gti? People daily drive big turbo gti’s/r’s
It is just preference. The is38 turbo in the Golf R is more powerful and hits harder up top in the RPMs. GTI's is20 turbo is faster to spool and has more down low power, but dies off a bit up top. The GTI is lighter and has a more nimble feel when cornering too. The R is far easier to launch though if that's your thing.
The Golf R is more expensive as well , make that in mind.
FWD its fast? ☠️
These drive high 9 sec times 100-200 with only a stage 1 tune
@@Amado1101 Ok true, 100-200 its Ok, but where its another thing ?
I mean with Integrated Engineering, 300 hp with just a tune, 400 hp with bolt ons and e85, and just short of 500 hp with a bigger turbo in a car that is 2900-3000 lbs, even being fwd, I would definitely consider that fast
@@Amado1101 yeah no they don’t lmao maybe with a fuel pump and e85
Fwd can’t be fast? Lol
honestly, it was the Bebop that did it for me.
What are the must do mods for a 2019 Golf GTI? I'm gonna check out the autobahn trim level this weekend. I don't wanna make the car LOUD but for it to breath better without compromising the longevity of it. It will be my daily driver for years.
Wait on the drag strip may not be that fast but doing pulls on the highway is where the GTI shines. Not sure what you meant about or on the highway it may not be the fastest. 10:56
I was wondering why you thought 23 degrees was hot but then you said Canada. 😂
gimme gimme gimme gimme
Hey man, do you have a creaking noise inside your car when you drive your gti? Because i have the same car and I just got it a month ago. And I have a creaking noise in the driver and passenger side
its a pretty common issue, im actually fighting with the dealer to fix it, noise from the back right cabin
@@jjboy500 really? Damn man, mine is I think all doors. Before it’s only in front but now I can hear it from the back too. I just got this car a month ago it’s 2021 gti se
@@nashgamalinda5383 that sucks bro go to the dealer abt it. mines is 2021 gti autobahn 20k miles on it rn. started maybe around 5k? i dont even remember. its gotten worse over timely. good luck with it
@@jjboy500 had this same problem and took it to the dealership, they claimed to have fixed it but it was still there. After looking around for a little i found out it was the hook where it clips in after you put the seats down. Wrapped some double sided tape on it and the sounds is gone now.
@@vladilopez976 huh no shit? ima try this out bro appreciate u
