Hey my Friend and Happy Friday. Your seedlings look terrific as always. Because of YOU I am making the same watering bottles ! Genius they really make it easy to water my new seedlings that are growing like crazy this year. I am happy to report I have TWO beautiful Basil plants growing. I put them in the very TOP tier of my GreenStalk. That way "her royal furriness" aka Sophie the Beagle can't reach them. She gives me the "side-eye" everytime she looks up and see my Basil. I would love to know what's going on in her little mind LOL.....Thanks again for all the Pro Tips you share with all of us. Be Blessed and Have a Wonderful weekend. Ms J and Sophie "the Basil eating Beagle"
Hello Ms J, I hope all is well with you and the basil loving Sophie! So glad to hear that your seedlings are doing great, I am sure Sophie feel the same, but she prefers to see and smell them herself😄 I think she just begs you to sow few extra green Stalk for her to enjoy. God bless you , your "Basil loving Beagle" and your garden too! Thank you so much for taking time and leaving a comment!💚
@@TowardGarden LOL yes I’m sure Sophie would love her very own GreenStalk full of Basil…I forgot to tell you that I am growing purple potatoes and sweet potatoes this year wish me luck. I have no idea what I’m doing so I’m learning as I go. I have been posting my garden updates on my Community page. Stop by and check it out when you have a spare minute. Sophie said thank you for being on her side🐶
@@TRTGCbyjroed Sure, I will planning to visit your page anyway. Please tell Sophie "It is my pleasure, be a good girl"😊💚
Thank you very much for sharing 👍 Interesting to see that you fertilize your seedlings at that early stage.
I usually start fertilizing when I notice seedlings are struggling to grow. You can judge when it is best time to fertilize depending on your growing condition. Thank you so much for your comment!
I love your videos thank you
So glad you love my videos😊 Thank you so much for your comment!

So wonderful to hear it! Thank you so much! Happy growing and God bless you and your garden too!🙏💚
@@TowardGardenare their certain plants that you only use the fish fertilizer for?
For seedlings, I use it for all. Thanks.
Excellent 👌
Thank you very much😊
Where you buy the green seedling trays from???
These are Garland Mini seed trays. If you are in the US, you can get them from Greenhouse megastore www.greenhousemegastore.com/collections/trays-flats/products/mini-seed-tray-with-holes?_pos=45&_fid=312d1194b&_ss=c . Thank you for visiting!
4:57 I can see a lot of new videos are coming soon 🌹😍🌹
Trying my best to keep posting new videos😊 Thank you so much for your support and comment!💚
Thank you for the Tips 🥰🥰
What is the mixture of your medium?
So glad you liked it. The mixture is my seed starting mix which is coco coir plus perlite. You can check how I made it here ua-cam.com/video/cJZcGDAro6w/v-deo.htmlsi=H1P2DH7i1AM6m9uS . Thank you so much for your comment!😊
Hello. Do you use the fish fertilizer on seedlings if you plan to transplant them later into your inground bed?
Hello. If you plan to transplant them quickly (shortly after they have 2-3 true leaves), you may skip feeding them. But if you will wait until seedlings are large enough, specially if it is still too cold for them, it is better to feed them. The best sign to feed them is when you notice seedlings struggle to grow, or the leaves are turning yellow-ish. It means the plant is running out of nutrients. Hope this helps and thank you for visiting!
@@TowardGarden Thank you. I plan to transplant them into my garden after my last frost date. Which will be the first week of April. Also, I am growing my celery seeds now indoors. They look like they are slow growing. Would you add the diluted fish fertilizer to the seedlings as well?
@chandreaharvell161 yes, i think feeding them would be good. Happy growing.
Is Fish Fertilizer good for Onion and Bellpepper seedlings?
For seedlings, yes, absolutely. That is what I use and showed in my video here ua-cam.com/video/AIeiB31yEJw/v-deo.htmlsi=EBxkR4Fm6rnrh6bE . For grown plants try to use more balanced fertilizers. Thanks for visiting!
What do i do when i accidentally make the soil sodden (i use 100% coco) any tips?
It is still possible to grow seeds in 100% coco coir, just watch the watering. Since coco hold moisture well, be careful not to overwater for healthy roots. Thanks for getting in touch!
I planted scotch bonnet pepper, 2 seeds per hole in a paper seedling pot. I already 1 week old but the leaf aren't getting big at all, the stem are just getting long but the leaf are so tiny I can't even hold them. I used coco coir and soil as my potting mix and I kept it in a dark room and bottom water them. Should I be worried or not?
I think you answered your question: If you keep in a dark room, they will be leggy and won't grow much. they need light and need plenty of it. Other than light, it is not a bad idea to start feeding them once they have true leaves. Hope this helps and thank you for visiting!
@@TowardGarden Thank You. So how long do I wait before I start seeing changes in the plant? Its just a week +
Sorry I missed your reply. How are they doing now? Any changes?
Oh thanks for caring 😁, they're growing well now though it feels slow but they've gotten their 4th leaf already and the previous two tiny leafs are bigger now.
So glad to hear. Keep up the good work!👏
3:52 is that organic fertilizer bro?😊
Yes. The bottle is marked as organic. Most of Fish fertilizers are labeled as organic. Thanks for visiting.
I always tend to overwater them 😢
Oh, I can totally relate to that, it is like feeding your babies. We just can't help taking care of them, and sometimes a little extra😄. Thanks for visiting!
