Thanks Matt, I went in to try to troubleshoot the rear trunk 12 volt that stopped working after 1 use a year ago. It was not blown after all so not sure why it's not operational but it gave me the opportunity to follow your instructions and reset the t box. Your instructions were clear and concise. Sorry. I saw a comment that said they used a 30 cm extender. Thanks again. Having difficulty getting the piece below the steering wheel back in correctly.
Brilliant… thanks you so much for posting those educational videos. I guess if fisker goes under (maybe the question is not if, it’s when), you are going to be the go to guru :)… I’ve been experiencing issues with my ICC for the last few weeks, it would go black while driving, could not access anything, including AC, soft reboot did not work. The moment I stops it would go back! A technician came over and did hard reboot by disconnecting the 12V battery, one week later the ICC went completely down!!! I put another ticket, and now it’s been a week no one has called! Do you think this something has to do with the fuse box?
Thanks! With that description, I think you may need the ICC module replaced. I would check to see if a fuse is blown. Check out the Facebook "Fisker Ocean Maintenance and Tips" group, lots of good stuff in there. We already have a service manual available to download.
Hi Matt or anyone else on this comments thread… Has anyone experienced a blank infotainment screen that doesn’t return to normal ops and stay blank. I have attempted multiple soft resets (on the steering column wheel) which results in the FISKER OCEAN startup log (10:27 in the video) coming up on infotainment screen then it goes away and stays blank. Anyways, looks like the infotainment screen is no longer operational (stays blank). Does anyone know if in need to reset a fuse or something?
If you see an image on the center screen during boot, the fuse is fine. If the screen is always blank, that would probably be the fuse. I'm not sure what is causing your issue. If you put the car in reverse gear, does the rear camera show up on the screen? Have you also done a deep sleep reset?
@@MTNRanger Yes, I did attempt a deep sleep rest and it hadn't resolved the issue (also the rear camera did show on the infotainment screen while in reverse but that was the only thing that worked with the blank infotainment screen; additionally all the drowsy driver warning started to appear as well while driving and the infotainment screen was inop). At about 8-10 hrs later after I initiated the deep sleep reset,, the problem went away. here's the resolution: I was lucky to get Brandon from Platinum Precision (former Fisker Tech) from the DMV area to help me with the issue. I happen to have an appointment with Brandon the very next day to get my water pump replaced and opt'd to get the 2.2 uploaded as well. He was able to do a hard reset on the center console but only after the HVAC controls came up. This happened only after about 8-10 hrs after I initiated the deep sleep (FYI: immediately after the deep sleep was entered about 2 hours after initiating the deep sleep, I still didn't have the HVAC control come up nor did the infotainment screen recover either) and btw, my vehicle initiated charging at 8Amps as well. I have been checking couple times since the issue was resolved while Brandon was at my location and it seems to be stable still. I'm glad that Brandon was able to reset the infotainment panel thru the switchology of the HVAC. Figures crossed (for now) that the center infotainment console would stay operational.🤔 The Switchology to do the hard reset was the following (if you are lucky to recover the HVAC controls (after a deep sleep reset) without of course the infotainment central screen up and running): set Driver Side Air temp to Highest possible setting (i.e. highest temp), then set the PAX side temp to the Lowest possible setting (lowest temp), then set fan speed to 7, and then activate the Rear Defrost. It immediately cycled the power to the Infotainment Center Console (by itself) with the Fisker Logo coming on and after a few mins, recovered my infotainment screen. Thanks to Brandon for helping me dodge having to replace the very $$$ ICC (for now).
Thank you very much! Since update 2.1, i don’t have the image from the front and rear cameras on my central screen when i park. Is it possible that this is due to a fuse ? Thanks again
I cover that in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Jawk2kphI8E/v-deo.html I am working on an alternative where you can still use the lights, but only controlled by the overhead console buttons.
Once again, thank you for this video. I followed it as I installed my switch and it woks like a charm. 🎉 Now i have to wach the 12 v battery one, since i keep getting the warning, blocks me from putting it in reverse and when I restart it goes away. So I’m not sure it’s really the battery or just more garbage warnings. 😮

I have seen fuses for the siren and the horn, but I haven't found a fuse specifically yet. Eventually, I'll do a video showing how to disconnect the PWS speaker. It's on my to-do list.
I think I know the answer to this. All was going great with my Ocean and, all of a sudden, I see Spotify, Iheart, etc. but none of them load. I am thinking I need to do a t-box reset. I could pull the fuse and reinsert, which I will probably do and if it works here are my 2 questions. Do you believe it's possible that I need to do a t-box reset to get those audio programs working. By the way I can still play spotify, iHeart, etc via my phone connected to the Ocean with bluetooth. And second question. Which of the Fuse Bypass Switch/Extenders did you buy? The 30cm or the 60cm in length? Great video which I probably knew I would need to access at some point. I am almost tempted to just leave things alone and use Bluetooth. My navigation seems ok, still wroking.
I personally have never had an issue with the apps not loading. Having them crash, yes, that does happen from time to time. I don't know if resetting the Tbox fuses will fix this. But I would still recommend trying it. You can use the 30cm length extender - I have in fact installed that one in another owner's car. I only used the longer one since it was the only one in stock.
I’m not at this moment in my inquiry, but definitely will if I get the numbers from manufacturer. Gotta first see if they will start production and at what price per count etc 👍
Thanks for this informative video. Looks like we need more of these to be able fix our wonderful vehicles our selves from the look of things. Any suggestions on how to fix the cameras/blind spot lights permanently on issue? Can it be fixed with changing fuses? Other question is if Ocean can work with Ottocast P3 OttoAIBox CarPlay Ai Media adaptor?
The cameras and blind spot detection issues are bugs that needed be addressed in software. Resetting fuses will not help that issue. No, an Ottocast P3 (or other device) will not work with the Ocean.

Hey MTN Ranger. My car has no cellular or wifi connectivity since they attempted to push 2.2 to it. I tried your Tbox reset but it doesn't seem to have been effective. Any other advice for a case like this? Thank you!
So, 4G and Wifi worked before the attempted update? If so, you should contact FOA to see if there is something they need to do with any of the modules.
Hi Matt! Great video. Watched it when you first released it and hoped that it was merely for my entertainment. However, coming back from a trip to Detroit, I was listening to Spotify and wanted to change to TuneIn. At that point, the T-Mobile connection, according to the bars, was and still is gone. The radio still works, but none of the entertainment apps work either. Oddly, TomTom still works but the lady has laryngitis. When I first start the TomTom in the morning, she comes on and tells the estimated time of arrival, but then goes silent. I suspect it is from being hooked up to the home WiFi. Judging by the radio audio, when a turn comes, the speakers at the front are attenuated and stay that way for about 10 minutes. Do you think this issue is related to what you are describing in this video?
It's hard to say. I've never had the issue you describe. Sometimes things can be buggy and a deep sleep reset or overnight seems to fix them. Other times, pulling the fuse works. But what you describe sounds like either the ICC or Tbox. Pulling and resetting either or both fuses may help.
Just watched this and was wondering if I could apply this to my own situation. My Android will no longer work with the car. Calls come thru but voice is just static. Couple questions. 1) Do you know which fuse controls the phone/voice? Would it be the same fuse? 2) When taking the fuse out and waiting for a reset are you having the car on?
The RF22/55 fuses control the Tbox and ICC modules. When pulled also turns of the center display. I'm not sure if there is a specific fuse for the phone/voice. Yes, the car is on when you remove/reinsert the fuse (it's technically always on!)
Since Fiskerati closed, the only other one I know of is Oceanforums.com. However, there is no centralized help section and until recently was a toxic site.
pulled out 15Amp, screen went off, but after re-inserting the fuse (more than a minute without fuse) - screen cme back up and navigation still frozen at home address
It's also possible you may have an issue with the ICC module (which communicates between the car and the network). Unfortunately, there may be more than one cause of the navigation locking up.
Hello, thank you for your video! My internet only works around 1% of the time and I’ve tried your method of resetting the Tbox by removing the RF55 and RF22 fuses, separately and together and have tried soft resetting but my internet works only for a couple minutes upon restarting the car and then goes away. I’ve also replaced both 15 Amp and 5 Amp fuses with new ones. Do you happen to have any other suggestions? Because of this problem my car is still stuck on 1.11
It sounds like you may have a problem with the ICC module (which controls communication). Either it needs a firmware update or be replaced. When did you get the car and where are you located?
Great video. May be you can help. My Dcc fast charger won’t work. It tries to connect to vehicle and then end up with “charging start error”. Do you know what fuse I could try to may be reset it! ? Thanks
Have you tried different CCS station? Some are not compatible (or giving issues) such as the EVgo 100kW stations. I'm not aware of which particular fuse controls charging.

After Update 2.0 I have no longer a connection to the apps and the internet. Date, navigation and updates are no longer possible. I tried to reboot the car using the main-switch near the battery. But that didn't work. Do you think I can reactivate the navigation system and the internet connection by using your suggested method? I would be very happy about a short answer. Thank you and greetings Germany
@@MTNRanger Thank you for your quick answer! I'll try it tomorrow morning and I'll give you feedback. Do you think I should remove both fuses at the same time or only one at a time andd step by step? And you also think waiting for 1 minute might be enough? I often read in German forums, that you should wait 10-30 minutes for other systems to restart. Many greetings from Germany.
@@joergebenhoch You could remove both, but try RF22 first. Everything I have seen only requires about a minute before reinserting. It would not hurt to wait longer if you wish. In any case, I would do a infotainment reboot after you reinsert the fuse.

Hello, my 4g suddenly stopped and i vannot connect to any wifi. It started when parked for 6 hours. Only think i noticed was 12v battery did dip below 12v while parked. Normally it stays above 12v. Is this fuse pull a fix for 4g and wifi?
@@MTNRanger is it possible the 12v battery monitor can prevent the car to sleep. Since I successfully installed it a few days ago I cannnot get the car to sleep. I also cannot get the energy saving modes to trigger. I want to do a deep sleep before I pull the fuse. Maybe I'll disconnect the monitor first. I know it uses power from 12v to send Bluetooth. Maybe this draw is keeping car alive on the version I have.
@@petertierney994 It may be possible, but I have not heard anyone bringing it up before. The huge number of modules in the car and their respective versions may cause different outcomes on different Oceans. Yes, I would test without the monitor to see if it goes back to the original functioning.
So it worked with just the one fuse pull, my wifi reconnected and I say the 4g flash before wifi. Will take for a spin to confirm 4g after I put car back together. Wifi always errors on connections unsuccessful but I see it connected on my router and the internet on the car works now.
Hi MTNranger, do you think it would be ok to not put back the first screw that you removed in the video or do you think the panel will fall off? It seems that the clips and the bottom screws were able to keep the plastic panel in place.
I guess I have been lucky with my FOO in that I have not had a problem with the navigation location being stuck. I do have the issue with Navigation updates not working, and the maps showing as 19 months old. I reached out to Tomtom and was told that they update the maps every 3 months. Lastly, for my navigation it shows states that I have never driven to as being "Region in Use". On my car it shows the state of Washington in Use and my car has not left California. I really hope that the Fisker 3.0 update includes working updates to the Fisker Ocean Navigation maps.
The maps download has never worked on the Ocean. They appear to download but never install and error out. The points of interest are very poor in the navigation. I search for local destinations and it sometimes points to something 500 miles away when I know there is one 5 miles away. Very odd.
My car is on 2.0 and Fisker replaced ADAS module to make cameras work but it has made lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring unavailable. Do you have any tricks or suggestions to get them working?
You got me on that one. I think the tech should have calibrated/updated all the modules when replacing the ADAS module. I'm not sure I can suggest anything on that, sorry. Are they totally not available or do them come and go?
@@MTNRanger thanks for the response. Unfortunately those 2 items are completely unavailable. It was becoming impossible to drive with notifications switching between blind spot monitoring unavailable and lane keep assist unavailable. So I had to set them to disabled. Even after doing that I get a reminder on each drive that both of those functions are unavailable. I wish Fisker was in better shape to help me by sending a tech to troubleshoot it further. I have now given up hope on getting it working.
If you can do this, you can probably help with this? You'll be my hero if you can figure out how to make the reverse and below 23mph forward speaker sound not as loud or a way to 'legally' shut it off.
Ok, tonight I tested with the key fob in the console and I got 30 minutes of run time before the outlet turned off. Not quite as good as in the video, but still sufficient many outlet uses. You can press the brake pedal and start another 30 minutes of use.
@@MTNRanger you rock! Thanks. and maybe there's a way to muffle the sound so it's still on, road legal, but not as annoying. Can't tell you how much I appreciate your videos!
My GPS has worked all of 5 minutes since December. This is a lot of work and potential damaging of panels and clips. I may call for a technician instead.
I appreciate the video. But I have to wonder how often does a problem occur where you have to pull one of these fuses to reset the Tbox? Seems like a ridiculous amount of effort and expense for an owner to make their own tweaks to the vehicle to keep it working. Which leads me to think that this car has some pretty horrible electronics engineering design. Knock on wood, I have a FOE purchased in December, currently on 2.0, and I don't "think" I have any Tbox issues.
Some people have the Tbox lockup every week, others may not have the issue. I think given enough time, these problems would have been addressed by the company. Most are probably fixed with OTA software updates to the system. It's unfortunate that the owners have to do this, but with the company going away, there is no other choice.
it's so scary how this car is put together. A fuse box must be easily accessible. It shouldn't be necessary to take the car apart like that. What a piece of shit

Did you ever make a video on how to access the cabin air filter? Thank you
Once a cabin filter becomes available, I will gladly make a video! Note, most cars have them replaced every two years, so we have some time before it becomes necessary.
Nice! Interesting enough … I am in communication with the original manufacturer to see if I can make a bulk order. They are looking into it and I’ll let ya know the results when I get them . Thanks again
@@troychrisman7682 That would be very useful for the FOA. Are you working with them on this?
Hello and thank you for this super video!!! I had the same problem and after I did the way you did it works perfectly! Thanks a lot from Germany....
I had problem connecting to home wifi after update 2.0 and saw the post on FOA regarding resetting the tbox. I did the 15a fuse but that alone doesnt work. Both 15a and 5a together does the trick. Thanks for the instructions.
Yes, for some cars, doing resets on both fuses is needed.
Thanks for this video. This happened to me this weekend. I will follow your instructions.
U are awesome! Waiting for ur air vent changing tutorial video!
Cabin air filter? Yes, when a filter becomes available, I'll do a video for it.
OMG, thank you! I am going to try this. Mine hasnt' worked in months. Same with the communication on service orders lol.
Sorry. I saw a comment that said they used a 30 cm extender. Thanks again. Having difficulty getting the piece below the steering wheel back in correctly.
Yes, it is tricky. The angled clips do need some finessing.
Hi Matt or anyone else on this comments thread…
Has anyone experienced a blank infotainment screen that doesn’t return to normal ops and stay blank.
@@OCEAN1Neelam Very interesting, I'll have to keep that in mind!
Thank you very much!
Since update 2.1, i don’t have the image from the front and rear cameras on my central screen when i park. Is it possible that this is due to a fuse ?
Thanks again
@@vetomania it most likely sounds like a module didn’t update. There are fuses for them. I’ll need to look it up and post.
Excellent! Thank you so much for posting.
Brilliant video. Now what about the passenger lights in the back turning on every 3 seconds...
I cover that in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Jawk2kphI8E/v-deo.html I am working on an alternative where you can still use the lights, but only controlled by the overhead console buttons.
@@MTNRanger oh man. If you do that, I'll be so happy. I look forward to your genius instructions
Would you please post the part number or specifics of fuse extension/ cut off that you used?
Thank you
All the parts used are listed in the video description. Here is the 30 cm version of the bypass extension: amzn.to/3Qm5up0
Great video. I'm thinking of installing the extender. What was the length of the extended you used? 30 cm?
I used the 60 cm, but 30 cm is all you really need. The 30 cm was out of stock when I was planning this video.
Sometimes there are just weird warnings. I reset usually fixes most of them. Though they can be exasperated by a low 12V battery voltage.
My driver door NFC is not working , and handle LED is not glowing and trunk cannot be open by button located on driver's door, is Toolbox have those settings ? your help is much appreciated
No, the Tbox fuse does not affect the NFC/PKC/locking/unlocking. I'm still not sure which fuse covers that.
Do you know which fuse controls the loud spaceship noise? Thanks for the video!
I have seen fuses for the siren and the horn, but I haven't found a fuse specifically yet. Eventually, I'll do a video showing how to disconnect the PWS speaker. It's on my to-do list.
Hi,
unfortunatelly for me pulling out 15Amp or the 5Amp fuse did not work. Pulling 5Amp fuse doesn't even turn off navigation.
Did you pull both out at the same time? The screen should turn off if you pull the 15 A fuse.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know.
Which fuse controls the driver door side mirrors and buttons?
Cabin Fuse Box RF12
@@MTNRangerThank You, My LCA wasn’t working and I can’t get the mirror to move, the passenger mirror won’t close when I lock the car I’m guessing it’s a faulty fuse
@@Sploitheworld Yes, check that fuse. Let me know how it turns out.
Thank you! I was able to add it and its resetting it. Question: My 4g signal shows 3 bars but its not getting any internet. Any clue?
I'm not sure if the issue lies in the Tbox or the ICC for this issue. You may need to have a tech check the modules to see if one is out of date.
@@MTNRanger Thank you!
Do all Oceans come with a hard copy operator/drivers manual?
No. The owners manual is on the center screen.
Any suggestions on how to fix the icc module or replace
Sorry, I don't have any experience with fixing or replacing the ICC module. I know it is located at the bottom of center console across from the Tbox.
@@MTNRanger what fuse is for the ICC controller. Resetting it may solve the ICC issue perhaps?
Just watched this and was wondering if I could apply this to my own situation. My Android will no longer work with the car. Calls come thru but voice is just static. Couple questions. 1) Do you know which fuse controls the phone/voice? Would it be the same fuse? 2) When taking the fuse out and waiting for a reset are you having the car on?
The RF22/55 fuses control the Tbox and ICC modules. When pulled also turns of the center display. I'm not sure if there is a specific fuse for the phone/voice. Yes, the car is on when you remove/reinsert the fuse (it's technically always on!)
Very helpful to the community. Are there any NON Facebook sites we should be aware of?
@@MTNRanger thanks. Yea. Tried many different brands and locations too
@@sripavanv If that's the case, you definitely need Fisker service to look at it and see if there is a hardware problem.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the great video.
I am from Germany and have had my Fisker Ocean Extreme since December 2023.
There is no longer any support in Germany.
Yes, it most likely sounds like you need a Tbox reset using this method.
@@MTNRanger
Thank you for your quick answer!
@@MTNRanger
Thank you :-) Is it sufficient if the Fisker is opened with the key or NFC? I don't have to press the brake pedal either? By restarting the infotainment you mean that I hold the two inner buttons on the steering wheel for 15 seconds?
@@joergebenhoch Opening method does not matter. You press the brake pedal to wake the car up or put it in ready mode. Yes, pressing the two inner buttons on the steering wheel.
MTN Ranger, My Center Infotainment Screen is inoperable - When starting up the FOO the OCEAN script and FISKER Logo appears, then the screen goes blank. Unfortunately, this TBox fix does not reset the main screen. Any ideas on which fuse this could be? Thanks for a great video here about reset of GPS and Navigation.
Sorry to hear about that. Did you get a vent replacement recently?
Hello, my 4g suddenly stopped and i vannot connect to any wifi. It started when parked for 6 hours. Only think i noticed was 12v battery did dip below 12v while parked. Normally it stays above 12v. Is this fuse pull a fix for 4g and wifi?
@@petertierney994 I can’t guarantee it, but the ICC does control the 4G. You may want to try removing/reinserting RF22 and/or 55.
The side screw probably could be left off. For future access, this would save time.
Very odd.
How are you interior LEDs colored?

Do you know which fuse to check for by any chance or I'll need to do a process of elimination
There are fuse box diagrams and legends in the owners manual. I found the two fuses marked TBOX and started from there.
@@MTNRanger I found it. Thank you. You are a great asset to our group. Continued success to you.
my goodness, so much for a readily avail fuse box like they used to have.
At least the other three are easier to get to.
Does that work for resetting the wifi connection
Yes, I think the WiFi goes through the Tbox.
Did you end up using the 30cm or 60cm bypass switch?
In the video I used the 60cm version. You really just need 30cm, but it was out of stock when I was planning the video.
Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I hope I never have to do this. Seems way complicated to access a fuse panel.
Yes, the other fuse boxes are easy. This one was almost intentionally designed to be hard to access.
Great job
Major design flaw having to do all this to access the fuse box. 😢
If you can do this, you can probably help with this?
You'll be my hero if you can figure out how to make the reverse and below 23mph forward speaker sound not as loud or a way to 'legally' shut it off.
Yes, there is a way to disconnect the pedestrian speaker. Thanks for the suggestion. I have not done it yet and I'll put it on my to-do list!
Thanks. It is really sad that we paid $50k plus for a car that we need to do this to in order to work.
My GPS has worked all of 5 minutes since December. This is a lot of work and potential damaging of panels and clips. I may call for a technician instead.
Yes, ideally if you can get service to do it, that would be preferred.
The fact that a fuse reset switch is needed is troublesome. Shouldn't bugs requiring reboot be solved BEFORE mass production.
Yes, ideally that would happen. But we may soon be one our own with regard to keeping the Ocean serviced and maintained.
My Brother, WHY is our 🐟 UPSIDE-DOWN? 😂
Mine isn't.
What a piece of shit
yes, both the battery and the fuse box access is really strange considering that everything is electric.
