Thank you Soo much ❤, this was so helpful but could make a separate video on the whole written application and the first steps of applying, I'm planning to apply next year and that'll be so considerate of you
hey! thanks for watching♥ I will add this to my ideas, however it's important to know that every NC, and even every college for GSP have different applications, so there is no universal set!
I want to request how to apply on national committe. I've tried to register my account but i can't find the nc indonesia committee for example. the deadline is on this month that is 31st november, so i'm looking for a help thank you!
@Anjani-sn3nz hi, it's nice to having you for offering me a help. But i think i already found the issue of my application, that is i don't eligible anymore because of my age, So i can't apply for UWC Indonesia for intake 2025-2027. Once again, I'm really thankfull to you, and i hope the best for your application process 🤗🤗
@likeduhh6784 oh, that's too bad :( there are a lot more chances for you out there to reach your dreams, even if not through UWC. thank you so much for the kind wish :) I wish you the best as well 🤍
@@علیجعفری-و3ض it really depends on your NC, just google “UWC (Your Country) Admissions” and it will find you dates that are relevant to you. If you’re looking for GSP, in the same way, google “UWC GSP Admissions”, which will provide you with all the necessary information!
heey! thank you for making this videos and sharing your experience! i’m planning to apply next year, so now i try to choose on what should i spend my time. a video that covers your achievements that you showed in your UWC application would really help ❤️🩹
Hi, Thank you for your advice and it was great this year I want to apply to UWC 2025 and I am from Afghanistan, so I have some questions about application form but you did not give any information about that I mean the questions which are inside the application form.
hi! If you're talking about the interview, each interview is unique, and you will be asked different question based on your application and profile, so there is no universal set!
hey, I touched this in a Q&A, either on mine or Ilaria's channel: ua-cam.com/video/4rcDttHo1fE/v-deo.htmlsi=nc6trL7_1dwj3WjF. But basically, when you're doing the IB, you get to pick subjects from different groups like languages, social studies, science, math, and the arts. But if you're not really into the arts, you can swap that out for another language, social studies, or science class. You also have to choose 3 subjects to study at a higher level (HL) and 3. others at a standard level (SL). The main difference is that HL subjects go more in-depth, so you'll need to know more and show off your skills a bit more, but both HL and SL are graded using the same criteria. There are some mandatory things too-like CAS (which is all about creativity, activity, and service), the Extended Essay (EE), where you write a 4000-words research paper, and Theory of Knowledge (TOK), which is basically thinking about how we know what we know. Hope this explained it a bit!
thank you very much for this video!! i find your advises very useful and i’m going to follow them this year while applying to UWC. but i feel VERY nervous about that because it’s my last chance to apply. i’m not sure if my activities, essays and even english level will be good enough to get in. so could you please give any advices how to cope with this stress?? thank you in advance😊
hi! firstly, you still have time to strengthen your application by taking part in some new experiences. by the time of applying, you should really understand that that is the best application you could've produced! also, there will be a lot of collaboration between you and other applicants, try to become friends with them, it will make it much less stressful. also remember that your interviewers and people who read your application have done this before too and they understand you and only want to support you! good luck with your application! i am sure that if you've already started thinking about your application, it is great and you should be confident about that, since most people haven't even decided whether they want to apply :)
Thank you for this video 🙏 Im planning on applying next year but I have some concerns regarding the politic aspects of uwc like I know its a place for everyone to come together and put their differences aside but is it really like that or do you feel like there is some hostility from students towards other students whose countries are not in good relations?
hello! this was something that was bothering me a lot before coming. UWC is surely a crazy mix of people from all parts if the world, and it is naive to expect everyone to forget all the things they've been exposed to in their home countries, including hostility towards unfriendly nations. but if in UWC we are striving for peace, there has to be dialogue. our college provides plenty of spaces where you can present you opinion on any matter, and even moderated discussions were organized for people from different sides of conflict. it is not always about finding solutions to the global conflicts, but about being tolerant and listening to each other to create a welcoming community on campus.
Tonia!!! thank you so muchh for making this video it was very helpful for me i plan to apply UWC now may allah bless and give the best way to me to get this program and a bucket thanks to bang adit who teach me applying this programs.
@@tonia.student sorry tonia, i already text you on instachat but cant, your account must allowed me before cause the setting dont allow new massages from anyones😄
Hey! I am planning to apply this year and i would like to know about how we can contribute to the uwc? Like can you give some examples so that it's easier for me to prepare myself? And i don't have that much achievements or certificates from extra curricular. Will uwc accept me?
hey! First, you should definitely apply no matter what! there's still plenty of time to get some extra experiences, like volunteering in local charities, establishing a club at your school joining an online project, taking part in a competition or anything like that can make your application stronger! when you search for opportunities, it is nice if they have values of peace, sustainability, conflict resolution, and other UWC Values, since it will show how much you already commit to the mission. An example can be being in your school's student council and encouraging students to sort waste for recycling, which would link to sustainability in your application. Any commitment, big or small, is important! good luck💞
Hello dear, I hope you are doing well I have some question about this process Can you please answer me Because I applying for UWC 2025 I really have a lot of stress Pleasr help me a little.😢
Hi! As a member of the Ukrainian National Committee , I am not allowed to provide personal guidance to applicants, since it would be unfair to other students. I really appreciate your interest and I provide many of my insights on this channel, hope they are helpful!
I am a tarot reader (I use tarot for healing and not for any fortune telling purpose!), I decided to design my own tarot deck, publish it and donate all of my profit to rural areas. Can I write these details into my essays? I'm still quite confused because this will be considered superstitious by some people, but I don't know what the UWC admission committee's perspective is about this issue.
I think it's very interesting! UWC is really not about judging on the bases of anything! so you should definitely write about things that are important to you, because that's what makes you and your application special!
Hi, Tonya! I am dreaming of going to uwcac, but one thing that worries me is the climate. is it very cold there compared to Ukraine? Especially I would love to know about heating on campus and in classrooms. Once again, thank youuu for your content! ❤️🩹❤️🩹
thanks so much for watching! it is not that cold in Wales, the yearly temperature average is about 11C where AC is located. In winter it rarely gets colder than 5C, which is nothing compared to Ukraine. However, Wales feels much colder to me because of the rain and wind (solvable with warm clothes). regarding heating, it is normally good, dorms are always warm, academic blocks mostly too. the only problematic area is the castle since it's really complicated to heat it up, but we can tolerate that for its beauty 👀 crazy weather only makes it more fun for us, so please don't let anything discourage you from applying!
